The Story of Adam and His Creation

Prophet Adam 'alaihissalam (USA) was the first to be recounted in the holy book of the Qur'an . He is the father and ancestor of all humans on earth.

In a routine study of Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mishry (a Muslim from Egypt), held in Srengseng, West Jakarta, explained how the process of creation of the Prophet Adam AS was revealed to the earth. The Quran recounts the Prophet Adam AS in 25 verses. He was the first man to worship Allah Ta'ala.

The Prophet said: "Allah 'Azza wa Jalla created Adam from a handful of land that Allah took from all the surface of the land, so the son of Adam was born according to the origin of the land. Among them there are white, red, black and a combination of these colors. Among them there is a soft and coarse and a combination between the two and between them there is good and evil" (HR. Abu Dawud's)

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mishry explained that the Prophet Adam AS was not born just like that but through the creation process. He was created without a father or mother. It began to be created from soil, processed from clay, then processed again until it was created into a perfect human being. This process of creating the first man took 120 years. The Prophet Adam was created on Friday (the forerunner of all days).

Adam's body was covered in 120 years, 40 years in dry soil, 40 years in wet soil and 40 years in black and smelly soil. From there, Allah Ta'ala changed the body of Prophet Adam with the appearance of glory and closed from the appearance of its nature. Because it was created from the ground, Angels and Devils also look down on human events.

As for the human descendants of Adam AS also not created instantly just like that. The creation of Adam's posterity also went through a long process as described in the Qur'an and Hadith.

From Abu Abdir-Rahman Abdullah bin Mas'ud RA, the Prophet said: "Verily one of you collected his creation in his mother's stomach for 40 days in the form of a Nuthfah (the union******* with ova). Then it becomes 'Alaqah (a lump of blood), then it becomes Mudhghah (a lump of meat) like that too. Then the angel was sent to him to blow the soul in it, and was commanded to write four things, namely, writing down his sustenance, his death, his charity, and his woe or happiness. By Allah, there is no God but He, indeed one of you is doing good deeds, so that the distance between himself and heaven is one-pasta, but the record (destiny) precedes him and he acts with the practice of the expert of hell, so he enters it. And verily one of you did a good deed to the master of hell, so that the distance between himself and hell was one last word, but the record (destiny) preceded him and he did so by the practice of the heavenly master, and so he entered it." (CHR. Al-Bukhari)

"Then we in Indonesia often hold 7 months as an expression of gratitude and gratitude. If women abort before 120 days the law is illegal, unless the doctor states that it will continue to harm the mother" said Sheikh Ahmad.

God created the jinn first. When Allah Ta'ala formed Adam in Heaven according to His will, then Satan took care of the Prophet Adam AS. When there is an empty side, Satan feels this creation that can not hold back or in other words Satan humbles the Prophet Adam because it was created from the ground.

After Allah has perfected the form of Adam, the Angels and Satan are commanded to bow down to Adam. And when God commanded the angel to bow down, all prostrated except Satan.

When he refused to bow down to Adam, Satan was cast out of Heaven. From this story there is a lesson that the order of prostration to the Prophet Adam was from Allah Ta'ala to worship. The angels are commanded to bow down.

Allah Ta'ala says:

"Remember when your Lord said to the Angels: "I am going to make a Caliph on earth". They said: "Why do You want to make (Chalifah) on earth a person who will do harm to him and shed blood, whereas we always glorify You and purify You?" Allah says: "I know what you do not know". (Al-Baqara: 30)

Then the angel was asked by Allah Ta'ala to name the things in Heaven. No angel could answer. When the US prophet Adam mentioned the names of the objects, the Angels were finally submissive.

The Prophet said: "If the son of Adam (man) recites the prayer, then he prostrates, then the devil will turn away from him crying. The devil will say: "Then I am. The son of Adam was told to bow down, and he bowed down, so Heaven was for him. Whereas I myself was ordered to bow down, but I was reluctant, so that I deserved Hell." (CHR. Muslim).
