A black, small, African-born man was born in the suburb of Makkah in 43 before his emigration he was Bilal ibn Rabah.
Her father was Rabah and her mother was Hamamah, a woman who had black skin. Bilal grew up in the bustle of Makkah as a servant of the family of Bani Abdul Dar.
When his father Bilal ibn Rabah died, Bilal was handed over to a ruler of the Quraysh named Umayyah ibn Khalaf.
in the following year, there was a scene, where the master and slave would argue about the faith won by his slave (Bilal bin Rabah).
The city of Makkah flew news of a new religion that was still unfamiliar to the ears of the city's residents, namely Islam. This teaching introduces that there is only one God that is worthy of worship, Allah SWT.
He is the creator of the heavens and the earth. The purity of this teaching was also brought by the father of the prophet before him, Ibrahim as, who had founded the Kaaba.
Because it was arrived by a sincere man, famous for being honest and having other noble properties, then mess up the condition of the city whose beginning was busy worshiping the god of his god.
Actually they believe in the words of the good man, only on the other hand, they will feel a loss in business and luxury life that has been enjoyed . At the same time, there is still a sense of pride in their hearts as the devil who obeys Allah SWT, but is arrogant in front of humans.
Islam was immediately viral in the discussion, and immediately infiltrated the hearing of Bilal bin Rabah. Without a word but and later, Bilal embraced Islam because he found peace and truth there.
But unfortunately, his employer named Umayyah knew the news of his conversion to Islam Bilal bin Rabah. Red went out on his face, and hurried to find Bilal to torment him.
Various threats and torture drifted on Bilal. He was mercilessly tortured like he was not a man. Initially he was beaten until battered, but Bilal did not budge on his beliefs.
Then Bilal was dragged forcibly through the city market, tied to the ground to the barren sun without being fed or drunk, to hunger and thirst.
When the sun is directly overhead, where the heat has made the desert like the heat of the hell of the world, Bilal was wearing armor. And indeed, Bilal the son of Rabah.
But there was no word that came from his lips, other than the word "Sunday...A sunday...Sunday.." which made the Umayyads more desperate and more so in torturing Bilal the son of Rabah. Umayyah whipped Bilal with a whip, then put a large stone on the chest of the little slave until his ribs were broken and difficult to breathe.
"Until you acknowledge the god as your God, I will release him." Umayyah ordered annoyed.
Your body belongs to God, but your heart belongs to God.
Allah also brought help to Bilal bin Rabah through Abu Bakr As Shiddiq who heard of the torture of Bilal bin Rabah in the desert. Quickly, Abu Bakr As Shiddiq came to them both to buy Bilal ibn Rabah and to free him from slavery.
Umayyah also offered the price of Bilal bin Rabah insanely crazy. He asked for 10 golden dirhams, which were immediately agreed upon by Abu Bakr As Shiddiq.
Thus Bilal was freed from the enslavement of Umayyad son of Khalaf. He has been independent and become a whole human being, as well as a Muslim who embraced Islam early.
Do not grieve Bilal, God is all-seeing.....
"And do not be weak and do not (also) be sad."
(QS.Ali'Imran 139)
"Do not be sad because of them" and "do not be sad, God is always with us."
(QS.At Taubah 40)
He will not waste the priest in the breast, a faith that has changed a person's life from before.
He, the man who had been a slave, black, small in stature, looked down on without price, even in torture without human taste, but because of faith in the chest, Allah SWT raised his degree. Until this moment his name is still grounded, his body is calm in the Barzakh realm.his name has been plastered on the door of heaven as a prospective occupant.
While those who once persecuted are men who rule the world, glamorous and luxurious living, seta tasted various beauties of the world. But because it is far from God, his life ends in misery.
"Then there was between them a wall that had a door. Inside is Grace and outside of it is torment."
(QS. Al Hadid: 13)
