The Prophet sent to Islamize the King of Persia and Rome

After Islam was declared openly, the Prophet sent the Companions to submit an invitation to Islam to the Arab kings or non-Arab. One of the envoys was Abdullah bin Hudzafah as Sahmi. Abdullah bin Hudzafa as Sahmi had the task of handing over the Prophet's missionary letter to Kisra, King of Persia.

Although Abdullah bin Hudzafa had never once gone to the far country, he remained steadfast in carrying out his duties. Abdullah bin Hudzafa left alone for Persia with a letter in his hand in the year 6 Hijri. Abdullah set out for the destination through the slopes and hills of the highlands and low.

During the trip, he always asked for protection and convenience to the SWT god in order to get to the destination safely. Worry and worry often stopped in his chest if his good intentions were rejected by the King, or he could not return to his country safely. However, he always prayed and surrendered himself to Allah SWT.

When he arrived at the Persian settlement, he asked permission to enter to see the King. However, the king's aides warned of the dangers of the letter Abdullah had brought.

After hearing the news of the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, the King of Persia ordered his aides to decorate the palace. Then he invited the rulers of the Persians to attend this meeting. Kisra then allowed Abdullah bin Hudhafah to enter the palace.

Abdullah entered the palace. He faced the Persian leader wearing a long, rough shirt covered with a distinctive Arabian scarf. He has an upright neck and a well-built body. From his ribs the majesty of Islam. In his heart ignited the nobility of faith.

When Kisra saw Abdullah coming, he immediately signaled to a servant to take a letter from Abdullah's hand. But Abdullah forbade it by saying, “Don't, the Prophet told me to hand over this letter directly to your hand, and I don't want to break his orders.”

King Kisra immediately ordered one of his servants to let him. “Let him draw near to me,” said Kisra.

Abdullah then approached King Kisra so that he could hand the letter to him. King Kisra then called an Arab scribe from the land of Al Hirah. He ordered her to open the letter and read out the contents.

“Bismil was bornohmanirohim, from Muhammad the Prophet to Kisra the great king of Persia. Salvation for those who follow the instructions.” Thus the Prophet wrote to King Kisra.

When Kisra heard the contents of the letter read to him, flames of anger instantly lit up in his chest. His face was red because the Prophet started his letter by calling himself. Then he snatched the letter and tore it apart without him knowing what was in it.

He immediately exclaimed, “Truly dare he send this letter to me, even though he is my slave.” Then King Kisra ordered his guards to expel Abdullah bin Hudzafah and he was taken out.

Abdullah left King Kisra's courtroom. He does not know what God's law will befall him, whether he will be killed or left alive. But he said, “By Allah I do not care about my fate after I delivered the letter of the Prophet.” He rode on his vehicle and left the palace of Kisra.

After traveling, Abdullah finally arrived in Medina. Abdullah came to the Prophet. He recounted the response of the Persian King Kisra to the letter of the Prophet he had torn. After hearing Abdullah's presentation, the Prophet said. “God will tear his kingdom.”

In a short story, King Kisra ordered Badzan, his governor in Yemen, to send someone to find out about Muhammad claiming to be the Prophet of Allah and ordered him to bring the Prophet Muhammad to him. Two of the men of Badzan's emissaries met the Prophet Muhammad and asked him to come to King Kisra with them, saying, “King Kisra has written to Our King, Badzan to send the man who was given the task of bringing you to him. We have come to you so that you may go with us to King Kishra. If you wish to go with us, then we will ask King Kisra to treat you well and not hurt you. However, if you refuse, then you have known his strength, his cruelty, and his ability to harm you and harm your people.”

The Prophet only smiled and said to both of them, “Go back to your resting place and come back tomorrow.”

The next day, the two messengers returned before the Prophet Muhammad and said, “Are you ready to go with us to meet King Kisra?”

Prophet shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam replied, “You two will not meet Kisra after today. God has killed him, He has given his power to his son, Shirawaih, tonight in this month.”

The two looked at the Prophet Muhammad and said, “Do you realize what you are saying? We will write this to Badzan.”

Prophet Muhammad SAW replied, “Yes, tell him that my religion will reach what the kingdom of Kisra reaches. If you convert to Islam, then I will give you what is in your hands and make you king over your people.”

The two envoys left the Prophet Muhammad SAW and returned to Yemen. Arriving in Yemen, they delivered a message from the Prophet Muhammad SAW. So Badzan said, “If what Muhammad said is true, then he is a Prophet. If not, then we will rethink.”

Not long after that, Badzan received a letter from Shirawaih which read:

“Amma ba’du, I have killed Kisra. I didn't kill him except to take revenge for our people. He had killed noble men from them, captured their women, and plundered their property. If this letter of mine has come to your hand, take it from your people for me.”

As soon as Badzan finished reading Syirawaih's letter, he put it on the side and announced his conversion to Islam. Then the Persians in Yemen followed him to Islam.
