007. PENANCE

After their father left, the three Musketeers stared intently at Niko. The three of them look very angry with Niko's plans to marry their beloved sister. They could no longer contain their emotions now.

"Niko you better go home." Melody said she was afraid her three brothers would get out of control.

"Just calm down, there's something I want to talk to your three brothers about." Niko smiled at Melody.

"Melo, get in your room!!" Aramis was still sitting at the dinner table. "GET INTO YOUR ROOM, MELO!!"

Melody gasped at Aramis's clap and immediately climbed upstairs. The girl was trembling because Aramis looked so angry.

"Get into your room, Melo!!" Prothos exclaimed seeing Melody standing on the second floor still watching them.

With heavy steps Melody walked into her room. Although actually he did not want to leave Niko with his three brothers who seemed to have been very emotionally restraining from earlier. The girl was very sure Niko was in trouble at the moment.

Melody thought she should do what. She did not want her three brothers to beat up Niko. Niko would definitely not be able to stop them from beating him up. Moreover, Aramis looked very angry earlier.

Melody turned to Lion's room. By now the Lion's room light was on, then he would have been home. Without thinking about anything Melody took the phone in her bag, then looked for Lion's number on the phone call list to contact her.

Lion was playing a PC game when Melody called. The phone call from Melody astonished him. He stopped playing and opened his headset and peeked into the window of his room that was covered in curtains. She saw Melody standing in the window of her room with tears streaming down while calling her.

"What's wrong?" Lion asked coldly answering Melody's phone.

Melody was so grateful Lion answered her phone.

"Please Niko, she is currently at the bottom with only my three older brothers. They must've beaten him for everything he said just now." Answer Melody.

Lion hung up the phone. He thought for a moment what would happen to Niko and what Melody meant about what Niko had just said to them. The young man immediately rushed to the house on the right side of his house.

When the Lion entered Aramis was beating Niko, while Athos was still in his seat on the living room sofa and Prothos just stood watching his twin beat Niko.

"Stop!!" Lion shouted to hold Aramis to stop beating Niko who was already battered. "Why are you still acting like this to him?"

"Lion, do you know about his desire to marry Melo?" Athos asked without looking at the Lion who was behind him with the others.

"Yes, he told me." Answer Lion.

"Are you okay?" Look Prothos.

"I don't want to interfere." Answer Lion.

"The three of you shouldn't have done this to me. I warned you earlier, didn't I?" Said Niko with the side of her lips bleeding. "To repay the debt and atone for your sins Ars, you must give up something most precious to you!!"

Athos rose to his feet and turned his head after hearing Niko's words. This was what he was so afraid of and finally his guess was correct. Niko wants Melody to atone for Aramis' sin to her.

"I still have that stamped deal." Niko Smile. "You can't do anything against my desire to marry Melody."

"It's between me and you!! You shouldn't have dragged my sister into this!!" Aramis.

After saying that, Niko walked out of the house. The moment became silent after Niko's departure.

"Look, the result of your actions Lion. You should have let him die back then. Now you feel it too." Aramis.

Suddenly Lion hit Aramis face with great annoyance.

"Why did you blame me for your stupid actions?" Lion asked annoyed. "You should kneel apologizing to him first and not make that stupid deal to atone for your sins!!"

Aramis was silent to hear it.

"You ruined his life because you burned his hand!!" Lion was very upset with Aramis.

Melody who was listening to the conversation felt choked to hear everything. He sat leaning against the wall of the guardrail hugging both of his legs.

"His dream as a swimming athlete was ruined because of your childish actions first, fool!!"

Melody's tears grew louder and louder when she heard Lion's words. She does not expect that the person who made Niko's life ruined is her own brother, who burned Niko's left hand so that she can no longer be a swimming athlete, and must forget her dream.

"I should have let Niko report you to the police and not listened to your plea." Lion. "Now you're going to vote, Ars, let Niko marry your sister or you're going to have to lose your left hand too?! In that deal you want to atone for your sins, right?"

None of the three Musketeers let out their voices. The three of them could do nothing now.

"I don't understand you, Ars. Why after all you did to Niko do you still hate her? It should be Niko who hates you, stupid!! You two are the same, I'm not surprised because you three are twin brothers. You guys are the same. Always arrogant and never lower your ego. You guys should be nice to him, not hostile to him, making things even more complicated."

Melody felt that what Lion said was right. Her three older siblings hate Niko so much when it should be Niko who hates them more after her life is destroyed so. Niko's attitude to her three brothers is natural, even Melody feels that Niko is too good to her three brothers, especially to her brother Aramis who always shows hatred for Niko.

Melody realizes that Niko is indeed a good man with a poor fate. With all the suffering she had gotten, she was still being kind to her and her three brothers by allowing herself to be hated like that by Melody's sisters.

"But you guys just calm down." Lion. "Niko is the nicest person I know. This time, all the decisions are with your brother. Niko won't do anything if your sister refuses. I'm pretty sure of that."

The three Musketeers turned to Lion after hearing his words.

"But that doesn't mean Niko let you go, Ars." Lion. "He will come again to ask for your penance until he gets what he wants."

After saying so Lion walked out leaving the three Musketeers still mute.

Melody got up and came out of her hiding place. He's gonna do something. The girl thought she had to say something to her three evil sisters. He looked at his three brothers from the second floor. The three Musketeers saw Melody and knew that their sister was listening to everything.

"Do you know how much suffering someone has lost their dream?" Melody asked coldly to her three brothers. "Even I who have not experienced it feel very unable to bear the suffering. You should have begged him for mercy and not hated him. But even you guys still aren't being nice to him? For the first time I regret having three sisters like you."

Melody wiped her tears and adjusted her breathing for a moment before continuing what she wanted to say to the three Musketeers.

"I'll agree with everything Niko wants." Melody. "But not for atoning for anyone's sins, but for you to understand what it's like to lose something you consider most precious."
