188. THE MELODY 911

After learning that the Three Musketeers and Mona are gone. Lion with the help of his cane walked over to Melody's house. He intended to directly come to the house first and then would ask Melody out of her room.

But when he opened the door, he immediately saw the girl who was about to descend the stairs.

The two of them became equally surprised at not thinking about it. But Lion immediately returned a smile to Melody while sitting on a single sofa in the living room.

Seeing the presence of Lion, made Melody feel happy. He did not have to find an excuse for her who wanted to meet the young man.

"Why stand up? Come sit!!" Lion.

Melody immediately sat on the three-seat sofa that was on Lion's right-hand side. I don't know because of what her heart is beating so fast right now. Grandfather was in his room but right now they were alone at home.

Though it should not matter because yesterday they were both in one room when Melody accompanied Lion in the hospital. But the current circumstances that make it more stressful to make Melody beat fast.

"What's wrong? You want to see me?" Melody asked withstanding her heartbeat.

"You're ungrateful, Melon!!" Lion. "You haven't said anything about the audition! Tell me what's going on! You must have done it, right?!"

"That's right." Melody replied, not daring to look at Lion. "They asked me why not use the provided guitar and use my own guitar."

"I already knew you'd make trouble." Lion. "Then I heard them telling you to hum a song of your creation that doesn't have lyrics yet, is it true?" Lion asked with a straight forward look. "Can't you also listen to me?"

"What?" Melody looked at Lion.

Lion also looked at him.

"I've only heard you sing in your room and at the cafe and that's all you've done not for me. So just this once hum for me." Pinta Lion pursed his lips.

Hearing Lion's words made Melody unable to resist. He picked up his guitar which was placed not far from the piano under the stairs then started strumming it, and hummed because the girl had not found the lyrics that were suitable for the song. When Lion finished just staring at Melody.

"Why look at me? You should have clapped!!" Melody.

"I'm sure you'll pass the audition." Lion looked at Melody. "Would you promise me that you'll listen to that song with the lyrics for me when I come back?"

Melody withdrew her gaze from Lion's gaze.

"Lion, I—"

"Someone told me not to promise anything so I won't promise you I'll come back." Sambar Lion looked forward. "But if you promise me then someday I'll take that promise to you." Lion. "And again why did you close the window curtain on your room? Have you forgotten our agreement?" Lion looked back at Melody with his regretful gaze. "You've lost, Melon! So I need you to give me a doraemon bag!!"

"Are you really gonna charge me all that someday?" Ask Melody.

Suddenly Lion held onto Melody's hand, making the girl startled and looking at her confusedly. But Lion reached into his pants pocket with his other hand. He took out one sparkling object and then put it into Melody's left hand.

"You're right! Real Madrid can't beat Barcelona in El Clasico." Lion said as he put a white gold bracelet into Melody's hand. "I bought it with the rest of my money, it wasn't too expensive but don't tell Ars I didn't pay my bet!!" Look Lion. "Other times I will support Barcelona only. Real Madrid has bankrupted me!!" Lion stretched his body, then after that fell silent looking ahead. "Melon, tomorrow I leave early. Maybe when you wake up I'm gone."

Melody was speechless to hear it, she held back her tears from flowing out, but it made her become tight and difficult to breathe. She wiped away her tears before Lion knew she was crying.

"Huft, we just got back to what we used to be. After Niko leaves, I'm finally back as your 911 officer, but I'll stop again, so I hope you can take care of yourself." Lion. "How about when I'm a 911 officer?" Lion looked at Melody. "You... Are you crying?" Lion held onto Melody's hand which tried to wipe away her tears.

"No! I'm not crying!" Reply Melody evasively.

"If you cry, I'll be happy." Said Lion releasing Melody's hand. "Melon, I'm sure soon your dream will come true. You're gonna be a famous singer. That's right, I should have asked for your autograph first huh."

Lion reached into his pants pocket and took out a red marker he was carrying.

"I want a signature from you. How about you sign my cast?" Look Lion thrust his marker at Melody.

"Don't be weird!" Melody said, but Lion looked at her for her to follow her request. Melody reluctantly signed the cast.

"Write something below!!" Lion. "Just write, I love you, Lion (\=singa)!!" Continue by teasing the girl.

Melody noticed the writings in the cast. All are not words of encouragement. Lion's friends must have been doodling it.

The girl was confused as to what she should write. Only those two words crossed his mind. He immediately incised the red marker in a cast with two words, Melody 911.

Melody did not answer. The girl was silent by not looking at Lion. "i like. But what if I add something?" Lion took the marker from Melody's hand and added a heart image between Melody and 911. Lion smiled at his work.

"Ke—why did you add that picture?!" melody protested staring at Lion. "That means different!!"

"What means?" Lion asked, making Melody become silent and did not dare to protest.

Lion took out a playing card and instantly scrambled it.

"When I was in the hospital yesterday I learned a magic trick." Said Lion taking one card from a row of cards that he put on the table. He held the card without seeing it. "Take a card and you can see it."

Melody was confused but the girl took one card just as Lion had asked her.

"Do you know the devil's card game?" Ask Lion. "Let's just say the card you're holding is a demon card. And I'll guess because I'm pretty sure the card I took was the pair of the cards."

"Yes, guess what." Answer Melody.

"U. S. diamond." Lion. "The card you have on you is the US diamond. Show me."

Melody flipped the card and it was true that the card Melody took was the AS Diamond. The girl showed a surprised face.

"Well, since you've given me your heart I'll give you my heart too." Lion cried while flipping the card in his hand. An AS card of the heart."

Melody was amazed because the US heart card was a pair of cards belonging to her US diamond.

"It's actually not a magic trick. Since the first time in any lottery we always get something that makes us always together, right?" Lion's smile after hissing. "Take it." Lion gave the heart's US card to Melody.

"This card I'll keep!!" Melody accepted it.

"Hey, you should have said your heart would be saved! I've lost I gave my heart instead of a card!!"

"But this is just a card!" Melody doesn't want to lose. "If you want to give your heart, get your heart out now!" Look Melody annoyed at Lion.

"Then you also let out your heart!"

"I said I wanted to give you my heart? That's you're shooting the picture! Not me!!" Melody was getting upset.

Suddenly Lion laughed and made Melody feel strange.

"Why laugh? Is something funny?"

Lion held back his laughter and looked straight ahead again. We always fight like this. Nobody wants to give up. When I'm not around, you'll miss me!!

"That's impossible!!" Melody nodded her head. "You will miss me!! When you're there don't call me!"

"Why?"

"Because I will make you miss me so much!!" Melody replied quickly and turned to Lion. "I won't answer if you call me!!"

"So so. Okay, let's see who wins. I will make you miss me so much! I won't call you! So don't regret challenging me!!" Lion.

The two of them remained silent for a while. But suddenly Lion picked up his stick that was placed beside the sofa and stood up.

"I'd better get home before your brothers get home." Lion turned towards the door.

Melody raised her head, looking at Lion who was starting to hold the doorknob. Right now he did not want Lion to leave. If Lion came out of his house, it meant that he would part with him. Melody doesn't want that to happen. He still wants to be with her.

Melody moved from her seat. He was already indifferent to anything, looking at Lion's back made him not want to believe that they would part until an indeterminate time. At least now he still had a chance to say what he wanted to say to Lion.

Melody quickly hugged Lion's back.
