072. I DESERVE TO DIE

Mona pressed the bell many times the door of the penthouse where Prothos was. Prothos did not open it. Before Mona goes there to clean her room, Prothos calls the receptionist to have her room cleaned.

"Has he gone?" Mona asks because Prothos didn't open the door either.

Mona immediately opened the door with the access card she was carrying. Then walk to the room area immediately. He was surprised to find Prothos inside. Prothos just sat leaning on top of the bed without doing anything not even turning his head to his presence. The young man was also undressed and was only covered in a blanket. Mona looked at Prothos who was just daydreaming with a blank look.

"I'll clean the outside first." Mona said right out.

Mona saw the untouched Prothos breakfast when it was almost ten in the afternoon. But the girl did not want to think about it and immediately did her job of cleaning.

After almost an hour, Mona finished cleaning the living room area, then looked into the room to see Prothos because she was about to clean the room area and change the bed sheets. Prothos has not changed his position. He was still daydreaming without moving a bit.

"Do the sheets need not be replaced?" Ask Mona.

Instead of answering Prothos immediately went down. Mona immediately ran away to the corner of the living room because Prothos did not wear anything while getting out of bed. The girl walked into the room after hearing the sound of the closed bathroom door. That means Prothos has gone into the bathroom.

"It's very strange." Mona muttered.

Mona immediately cleaned the room area, changed the bed sheets and removed the trash in the room.

"It's so disgusting." Mona complains at the thought of what Prothos did with the girls in the room while taking out the trash. He took the trash can in the room outside. "That's just right for him."

Mona re-enters the room after throwing the trash out the door to put the trash can there. He still has to clean the bathroom at the moment. But it's been almost an hour of Prothos in the bathroom and hasn't come out yet.

"What's he doing inside?"

Though the day is very hot at this time, but Lion with Karen on the roof of their school building enjoying the ice cream they bought. Lion was sitting on the perimeter wall of the roof while Karen was just leaning back looking at the view from up there.

"It's so hot in here, why do you like it so much to be here?" Karen asked after finishing her ice cream.

"I really like to be on high, because I can see everything down there, and it makes me feel safe." Lion replied after that biting his lollipop ice cream. "If you don't like it you don't have to follow me here." Lion turned to Karen who was to his right.

"I'll follow you wherever you go, everything you do is exciting. I want to be able to skateboard like you. You were so cool then." Karen.

Lion laughed as he recalled the incident while he was skateboarding on the roof-top wall. At that moment he felt a huge void. He was so happy to get through that time, and now he feels better.

"When you go home, accompany me to get a skateboard, yes, my skateboard was destroyed at that time." Lion smiled at Karen. "I'll teach you too."

Suddenly the roof door opened making the two of them turn their heads. Niko walked in to them.

"Lion, I want to talk." Niko.

"I'm going back to my class." Karen said after walking away leaving the two young men.

"What's up, Niko?" Lion asked down from the wall and approached Niko. "I told you I wouldn't interfere anymore with your problems."

Without thinking Niko hit Lion's face twice. That made Lion very confused.

"I have to do it so I can feel relieved." Niko. "Lately I've become very envious of you."

"What does that mean?"

"Everything you've done for Melody, it makes me so jealous." Answer Niko. "At least let me hit you a few times let me be relieved."

"Well, you can hit me as you please." Lion.

Without waiting, Niko hit Lion's face and stomach. But Lion just laughed and enjoyed it.

"It seems I won't be able to be relieved before marrying him." Answer Niko. "Thank you, you helped me get it. No, thanks for giving it to me."

Lion did not say anything hearing Niko's words.

"When we have to go four. I'm with Melody and you're with your new boyfriend." Niko.

"We're just friends." Lion. "But it seems like a good idea."

After Niko leaves Lion alone on the roof. Lion exhaled from his mouth violently while rubbing the corners of his lips that were injured due to Niko's punch.

"It hurts a lot." Lion muttered.

Either about the injury he got or about his feelings after hearing the sentence Niko who thanked him for giving Melody to him.

Prothus was silent in the bath up. He turned his head to look at the ceiling of the very luxurious bathroom. Not because he was enjoying all of that but right now emptiness was felt in his heart even in his life.

Whatever he tried to enjoy everything, but the slightest sense of pleasure he could not feel.

Every day, even if he was with a different girl, it was just the sadness he felt. The shadow of her former lover and teacher, Widia was always in her mind. Always shadowing her because of her guilt towards the girl.

"Is this your punishment to me, Widia?" Prothos.

Her tears flowed out mixed with the warm water inside the bath up where she was soaking at this moment. The young man had never felt a sense of loss this big before. His betrayal of Widia was met with a sacrifice for her. It was getting more painful for Prothos. His guilt multiplied many times at this moment.

Whatever he tries not to feel it but every time he is with a girl only the face of his ex-lover is visible. And all that is always repeated even though he realizes that what he did was wrong.

All of the words he had spoken first to Widia turned around to attack him at this moment.

I don't want traitors to feel happy!! That's not worth it!!

He still remembered the sentence once thrown from his mouth.

"Yes, I don't seem to deserve happiness."

Prothus immersed his head into the bath up that had previously tapped his water on. The young man let himself be in the water by recalling everything he had gone through with Widia, the girl he had missed so much.

All his memories with the girl came back to his mind. All the wonderful memories that made it even more painful. All of the girl's words were what made her become even more guilty of betraying him. All kept spinning in his shadow made Prothos increasingly convinced to end it all at this time.

I deserve to die.

Prothus closed his eyes along with his breath that was in the water.

Prothos heard back the sentence Widia had spoken to him. At the same time someone pulled him out of the water. Prothus opened his eyes and saw a girl reaching for him. The girl looks vague, but in her view, the girl is Widia.
