121. MELODY THE VAMPIRE

Niko understood what Melody meant. The girl said not to approach him, let alone bite him again because the last time Niko asserted her not to ban him on that one thing.

"My bite yesterday wasn't a bite to turn you into a vampire." Niko said with a sharp look. "We'd better get back to the mansion now. I'm so thirsty."

"You can't do that, Niko, you promised me a lot. You have to keep up with all your words." Melody replied with a little fear. "Don't go into my room again, at home or here. You scared the shit out of me. If you break it I'll call off our engagement."

Niko held back her anger. Ever since he saw Melody kissing Lion, he couldn't help his jealousy and wanted to do as he pleased with the girl he loved. But he always held it back to keep all his promises to Melody.

"You're so unfair Melody." Niko. "We're getting engaged and married, but I haven't even kissed you. Whereas you make me jealous because—"

"MEL, COME HERE, HERE THERE ARE A LOT OF SHELLFISH AND TURTLES. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT, HERE!!" Shouted Karen stopping Niko's words because Melody turned to Karen who shouted to her.

"I'll be there." Melody stood up.

Niko got up to her feet as well and looked at Melody who was walking away from her in disappointment, her anger had already turned into a sense of disappointment towards the girl. He felt sad not only because of the girl's ban on him, even Melody did not care at all about what the young man wanted to say to her.

With a feeling of disappointment Niko walked away leaving the beach.

At seven o'clock the night Melody and Karen returned to the mansion. Lion went alone to do something he liked and did not come home with the two girls. When the two of them arrived, they did not see Niko being there. And according to the workers in his mansion, Niko had not returned after leaving with them.

"Where's Niko, Mel?" Karen asked Melody who just came out of the bathroom after taking a shower. "What were you talking about until he went somewhere? Have you contacted him?"

"I'm just banning him from going into this room." Melody replied without feeling guilty. "Do I have to call her?"

"Geez, I don't understand you guys. You're not worried about her?" Ask Karen who is sitting on the bed. "You will soon be engaged." Karen Mumbled.

"Later he will return." Melody stood in front of the mirror.

"It turns out it's not gone, is it a used one?" Karen approaches Melody and sees Niko's bite marks on the girl's neck because Melody removed the plaster.

"I read that this scar will be gone in about two weeks." Answer Melody. "The plaster I brought fell in the sink and got all wet. I'm going to go to the mini market buy it."

"You can ask a worker here to buy it."

"I don't feel good asking them. The mini-market is not too far away." Answer Melody. "Do you want to accompany me?"

"I'm just gonna take a shower."

"Yes, I went alone. Is there something you want to buy?"

"Snacks." Karen Smile.

Melody entered the mini market and immediately took the plaster she wanted to buy. She also heads to the snack section to buy Karen's order. The girl was surprised to see Lion standing while picking up a chocolate stick in front of the shelf she was about to go to.

Lion also saw Melody's presence but immediately turned his gaze and took a chocolate stick and walked over to leave the girl without a greeting.

"Lion, do you know where Niko is??" Melody asked felt strange because Lion was acting cold towards her. "He's not in the mansion."

"I don't know. I don't want to interfere with your problems, that's what you want, right?" Lion replied after that continuing his steps towards the cashier.

Melody immediately picked up the snacks and followed Lion to the cashier.

Lion walked out of the mini market while eating the chocolate stick he had just bought. Melody who had just finished paying for her groceries immediately rushed out following Lion who did not care about her.

"Lion, wait!!" Melody cried but not ignored Lion.

Melody somewhat ran after Lion and immediately pulled the young man's right arm to stop walking. Lion stopped and turned around with a cold look. But her gaze was directed at the red mark on Melody's neck that she knew was Niko's doing.

"Why are you acting like this to me again?" Ask Melody in surprise.

"I'm just acting like I always do to my friend's potential fiancee." Answer Lion. "I don't want to make Key misunderstand either."

"All right." Melody replied with sadness. "Niko do you know where he is? You know that, right?"

"He's diving." Answer Lion.

Mona opens the door to Prothos' room with a glass of milk, after Prothos asks him to make it after dinner. Prothos sat in front of his laptop holding up the barbell in his left hand and his eyes fixed on the laptop screen watching a movie. Prothos is also not wearing his shirt at the moment, as his body sweats after push ups and sit ups.

"You don't study when tomorrow you're still testing." Mona put a glass of milk on the table near Prothos.

"Learn only for those who have dreams." Prothus answered putting the barbell out of his hand and drank the milk Mona brought. "Who do you think is more handsome, him or me?"

Prothos showed a picture of an actor named Juan Rahardja who is on the rise because he has starred in several film titles that are box office.

"I always smile at everyone." Prothos will not lose.

"You're different, he smiles warmly when you smile with charm. Anyone knows that!!" Mona Excited.

"Who is better looking?"

"I've said good looks are relative. All in all I'd say is Juan far beyond you."

"He's an actor, he knows how to create an image of himself in front of the camera and in front of people. I'm sure he's not as good as you say." Prothos. "I'm also much more handsome than him."

"Then why don't you just be an artist? You're too confident because of your face. Being an artist is not easy because it must have the aura of a star."

Prothos picked up a pile of business cards that were in his desk drawer.

"Do I have to follow your advice? If I wanted to I could instantly shift your idol's position in the artist world." Prothos gave a stack of business cards that he always got from people who offered Prothos to become an artist.

"You got so many offers why don't you take it?" Ask Mona to look at the business card. "There's even a well-known and very good PH offering you."

"I have absolutely no intention of becoming an artist. It will be troublesome wherever I am. Now it's a hassle for me." Answer Prothos. "My father also didn't want me to be too busy and forget about education."

"Then I'm gonna throw this all away, you don't need it, do you?"

Melody stood on the beach waiting for Niko who was diving after Lion told her where he was. It had been half an hour that she was standing there and Niko had yet to come to the surface of the sea.

But not long after, Niko appears and sees Melody waiting for her. The young man was still feeling disappointed so he was not happy with Melody's presence there.

"Niko, I've been looking everywhere for you." Melody exclaimed towards Niko who was removing her diving equipment.

"You should just wait in the mansion, you could get sick from the nighttime sea breeze." Niko walked over. "Let's go home."

"You're mad at me?" Tanya Melody held onto Niko's arm to look at her. "You're angry because I forbid you?"

"There's no way I'm angry just because of something like that."

"Then why?"

Niko kept quiet, she did not want to say that she felt so jealous because the girl kissed another man.

"Listen, Niko, I just don't want ka—"

Niko pulled Melody into her arms immediately.

In the distance Lion sat eating his chocolate stick looking at the two of them, not reacting to anything.
