129. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FAREWELL

Melody broke into her house at ten in the morning after returning from her vacation. There was only Mona in her house sitting at the dinner table with a Prothos laptop.

"How was the holiday? Niko didn't fuck with you, did she?" Mona asked as she stood up to grab a drink for Melody who was sitting in front of her. "Did he do it again?"

Melody understood that Mona knew about the mark on her neck because of Niko's actions. And now Melody is wearing Mona's scraft to cover the mark.

"Thank you for lending me some of your scrafts." Melody said after drinking her drink.

"No problem, I have a lot and yesterday I made it myself with your brother's sewing machine. I'll give you some." Mona Smile.

"You alone at home?" Ask Melody.

"Your grandfather is in his room." Answer Mona.

"Mona, did you know that Niko ever had a fiancee?" Ask Melody.

"I've heard of it, but I don't know for sure. What's the matter?"

"We met him on the island last night." Answer Melody. "She's a very pretty girl like Tasya's sister."

"What's wrong? You jealous? You're also very pretty, it's just that you rarely smile, so try to smile more." Mona.

"It's not so." Answer Melody. "He was Niko's first love. I saw Niko kiss her, which is why the problem is whether Niko still loves her or not. If she doesn't love him anymore she shouldn't kiss him, she's the same, she says she doesn't love Niko but when she sees Niko she kisses him right away. Is it possible to kiss someone she doesn't love?"

"It seems that in this case it might be. There are many factors that make them do it. For them maybe kissing someone is not very important and commonplace." Answer Mona. "What's really going on? What are you worried about? Are you afraid Niko tricked you?"

Melody nodded.

"Many things made Niko possible to deceive me. And actually she still likes her ex-fiance. But if it's like that I feel it's better."

"You mean you want to cancel your engagement if Niko still loves her ex-fiance?"

Melody nodded.

"The problem is the woman. She seems to dislike Niko no more, plus she says she idolizes one of my sisters and hopes to see her again." Answer Melody. "What should I do? If Niko just tricked me into wanting revenge on Ars' brother, it would make him even more unhappy. I don't want him to suffer more. Should I ask him directly?"

"When you ask him if he really loves you he'll get mad, Melody." Answer Mona. "But I think you should ask directly, so you don't feel bothered anymore by your guess."

"Yes, I'd better ask you directly." Melody. "If she still loves that woman, I'll help her. I just want Niko to feel happiness in her life."

"You're a good girl, Melody." Mona smiled. "You should also think of your own happiness."

Lion woke up after hearing someone call him. She is currently asleep on the sofa in her friend's apartment. The dog with the Teacup Pomerania race belonging to his friend was also lying beside him, curled up in his arms.

"Well, I'll send him today." Lion answered someone on the phone.

Prothos with Aramis who finished the final day of the exam headed straight for the hospital. They are ready to listen to the doctor who will diagnose Athos after all the equipment that supports Athos' life is released except for one tool, the ventilator. Leo and Ronald were there.

"Tomorrow the hospital will issue his death warrant." The doctor said after checking on Athos.

"What do you mean doctor?" Aramis asked looking annoyed. "His heart is still beating!! He's not dead!! Why would you want to issue a death warrant? You want to kill him?"

"His heart is still beating because the ventilator is still supporting him." Answer doctor. "After the death certificate comes out, organ donors will be directly carried out on patients who need it."

"Stop your nonsense, doctor!!" Aramis is arrested by Prothos. "Dad, don't listen to this fake doctor!! Ato will wake up, he will realize!! Uncle, quickly check on Ato, he's fine!!"

His father and uncle were silent and answered nothing. There was sadness from both of them. The grieving Prothos also releases Aramis after the doctor exits the room. They all felt the same sadness at this moment.

"I'll tell Melo, she should know, she should also see Ato one last time." Aramis exclaimed out of the room to call Melody.

"What about Tasya?" Ask Prothos. "Do we not need to call him? He should know, either."

"No, let him not know. Ars had told him before that we would only contact him if Ato were conscious." Answer Leo.

"Non." Call Keke when Tasya just got home from school and was about to head to his room on the second floor.

"What's wrong?" Tasya asked Keke, who approached her with a large bouquet of chrysanthemums. "What'sthis? That's great." Tasya commented on the bouquet that Keke had brought.

Tasya brought the bouquet of flowers into her room. He looked at her for a moment at the bouquet that looked so beautiful. The girl even brought her face closer to smell the scent coming from the colorful chrysanthemum flowers.

"Who sent this to me?" Tasya asked confusedly.

Drrrtt drrrtt drrrtt

His mobile phone vibrated to divert the busy Tasya who looked at the beautiful-looking bouquet of flowers.

"What's up, Ars? Is Ato conscious?" Tanya Tasya felt happy when she saw Aramis calling her.

"Tasya, tomorrow the doctor will issue a death certificate, Ato. The organ donor operation was also carried out immediately after the death certificate came out." Answer Aramis.

Tasya could not believe hearing Aramis' words. He hoped that good news would be received. Her tears can't be stopped anymore. The beautiful girl fell to the floor and cried hearing bad things about the young man she loved so much.

Melody ran into the room her oldest brother was being treated. Along the way the girl kept crying after Aramis called her. Mona drove him to the hospital.

"Sir Ato, wake up. Don't be like this!!" Melody held onto her brother's arm which did not move in the slightest. "Why do you have the heart for me, brother. If you leave how can I be happy again?"

"Mil." Prothos pulled his little sister into his arms.

"Sister, wake up brother Ato. He can't leave us all!! You guys are always together, right? Don't let brother Ato go!!"

"That's it, Melo." Prothos rubbed Melody's back. "We can't do anything anymore. We have to let it go."

The grieving Tasya turned to the bouquet someone had sent her. He had not yet opened the letter inside. With still sobbing Tasya stood up and approached the table where the bouquet of flowers was located.

He took a letter there, and immediately opened it to find out who sent the flowers.

His tears flowed back after reading the sentence written on the letter. Just looking at the contents of the letter, Tasya knew who had sent the bouquet of chrysanthemums to her. Someone he loved and missed so much. The young man who is lying in the hospital and will receive his death certificate tomorrow, Athos.

I'm not as perfect as you say I am, but you're the best for me. Now I know the perfect way to let you go. Maybe this is the best farewell from me, and hopefully worth everything we've been through. But is this really called perfection?
