074. NOT BELIEVING IN DESTINY

Mona stood looking at Prothos in annoyance after hearing the young man's words. He disagrees with his words saying traitors do not deserve happiness.

"A few weeks ago I parted ways with my boyfriend, he told me that he was sick of my busy life. Then a few days later I saw him with a woman, who I knew was his ex-girlfriend. Without me knowing it turns out that all this time he's been cheating on me, that woman is not his ex-girlfriend but I'm his mistress." Mona.

Prothos looked at Mona who told him about her past.

"I don't blame anyone for everything that happened. I also wish that they were happy so that I could be happy with my life. No one deserves to be happy, everyone has the same right to be happy." Mona rubbed her tears with her fingers because she was sad again when she remembered her relationship with her ex-boyfriend. "You deserve to be happy too, so forgive yourself. Forget those who forget you and leave those who leave you. It's the only way you can forgive yourself."

Prothos withdrew his gaze from Mona, and felt that everything the girl said was not easy for her.

"It wasn't easy for you because you didn't say goodbye to her." Mona could read what Prothos was thinking. "Why don't you go see him again to tell him everything you want to say? Why are you hiding out here covering yourself with those girls?"

Prothos became silent at Mona's words that seemed upset at him.

"You said he went to take your heart, right? Then you have two choices to make." Mona. "Take him back to you or take back your heart."

Aramis waits outside the ICU room in grief. Anna is getting medical attention at the moment. The young man could only sit waiting with his tears.

Ronald came out to Aramis. He sat down beside the young man who was holding himself back from crying and rubbed his back.

"How's uncle? What's going to happen to Anna?" Aramis asked by covering her face with both palms.

"Anna's fine, but she's not conscious yet." Ronald answered withstanding his own sadness.

"You also know uncle how much Anna has suffered in her life? Please heal him uncle, he has to heal so I can make him happy. All this time he always bore his grief alone, to the point of making him sick like that."

Ronald pulls Aramis into his arms.

"It's my fault for leaving him home alone. I shouldn't have gone to school and taken care of her. Heal Anna, uncle. I'm begging you."

Aramis walks into the ICU room to see Anna's unconscious state. She tried not to cry anymore as she sat next to the girl she loved so much.

"Anna, you're a very strong girl, even you're much stronger than me. All this time you lived your life in grief and endured it alone. I told you, now that you are not alone anymore, I will be by your side, yes, I promised you that I will always face everything with you from now on. So please hold on, Anna and fight, I'm here with you."

Aramis clasped Anna's hand with her tears flowing.

"You want to eat sweet food, right? Get up now Anna, we can go find her. I'll buy you all the food you want. I'll even let you eat pizza again. I'll cook for you again. What matters is that you wake up."

Aramis exits the ICU after removing ICU room-specific gear. Outside the others have arrived. Athos, Melody, Lion, Niko and even Karen were there. But only Prothos wasn't there.

Melody immediately hugged her brother with a cry that she could not hold. Melody knew how sad Aramis was right now. Her brother always looked strong and never showed any sadness, but even now his face looks so swollen.

"Sir Anna must be awake, brother. You just have to wait patiently." Melody hugged Aramis.

Athos holds Aramis' shoulder to support his twin.

Aramis walked up to Lion to say something to his best friend.

"Lion, please find Oto, he must be here before anything bad happens. I have a bad feeling. I can't leave Anna right now because that's why I need Oto for something else."

Lion understands what Aramis means. But He himself could do nothing. He had also asked all his friends even to the surrounding towns but since Prothos was only silent in Niko's penthouse no one saw him. Only Niko knows where Prothos is.

"Well, I'll try to find him again." Lion answered to calm Aramis.

"Sorry, we're not going to go get the skateboard." Lion said as he walked Karen outside the hospital.

Lion opens a taxi for Karen. "Later I'll call you again."

Karen simply smiled and waved her hand at Lion, who also did the same to her.

"Lion, you promised me you wouldn't say anything to Ars or Oto." Athos said as Lion walked into the hospital lobby. "You also can't stop what's going to happen at Tasya's wedding."

"Yes, I know." Answer Lion. "But I want to give you a little advice. What if you don't have to stop him that way, I mean you better get him canceled before the show goes on. You can take Tasya away before the show."

"If I do that I will lose the support I get, and for sure they will plan their wedding again. And it'll repeat like that." Answer Athos. "All I will do later with the intention that the loser will accept the consequences of his actions but my main goal is to check on the king."

"Why did I regret telling you what step you had to take." Lion.

"Do you have any doubts about what I'm going to do?"

"No doubt, I just don't believe in destiny. Destiny always plays with man. As sure as you are by your plan, it all depends on fate."

"Yes, you're right. But I don't want to give up. Giving up is not my nature. Fuck the optimists or the pessimists, who I know I will try until I accept the end result."

Lion exhaled in annoyance.

"It seems like what Ars said was true." Lion muttered out a breath.

"You want to find Oto? Ask your friend, he knows where Oto is right now." Athos.

"Niko? You mean Niko who knows where Oto is?" Ask Lion.

Lion spoke to Niko in the corridor of the hospital some distance away from where the others were waiting in front of the ICU room.

"I know what you're gonna ask." Niko. "Trust me, I've asked him to come home but he said there's no plan to go home in the week."

"Tell me where he is, let me talk to him." Lion.

"Sorry Lion, he asked me to swear by Melody's name not to tell anyone where she is." Answer Niko.

"Which one of your hotels?"

"Free, you won't know, I've asked everyone to keep his whereabouts a secret. You won't be able to dig it."

"All right." Lion looked at Niko sharply. "I'll go find it myself."

Lion walks away from Niko while pulling out his phone. He was walking away from the hospital.

"Ivan, can you help me?" ask Lion who called Ivan. "You know who works at Niko's hotel? I mean our friends. I'm asking for their names, I'll contact them myself."

Niko sees Lion's departure with a sneer.

"I want to see if you can find him in my cave, Lion." Seringai Niko was seen on her face.
