014. SPURRING ADRENALINE

The weather is very hot during the day. The sun seemed to be angry to emit emotions that made anyone feel burned. Everyone will definitely take refuge and choose to be in the room to shelter from the anger of the sun.

But not with a young man. He climbed up his skateboard and slid on the roof of the school building which was definitely the sunlight radiating straight into his skin.

Lion launches his skateboard on the school rooftop during break time. He was enjoying his solitude at the moment, until he finally stopped his action and sat down on the perimeter wall of the building and looked down. He is currently on the fifth floor of his school building.

This was not the first time he had been there. During the break Lion is often in that place just to see the condition of the students who are on the move in his break time. And he enjoyed it very much.

"Now I'm completely alone without Megan." Lion muttered after that making a balloon from the gum in his mouth. "It's so boring."

Lion thought it best what he was doing right now. Lately, he has been bored with all the activities he has done. He wants to do something challenging to get his adrenaline pumping. It's been a few weeks that he's been feeling uninspired and coupled with Megan's disappearance yesterday.

The young man turned to his skateboard, then picked it up. He immediately stood on the wall which was about 120 cm high.

All of the disciples who were at the bottom instantly looked up at Lion as he stood on the outskirts of the extremely tall building. Even some who saw him running called his friends who were in the classroom and someone reported to the teacher.

The three Musketeers, Melody, Anna and Niko immediately saw Lion standing on the roof of the building carrying his skateboard.

"The boy is really crazy." Furious Aramis runs to stop the Lion who looks like he wants to jump.

Aramis runs with Anna to the roof of the building to stop Lion. Some teachers also ran behind him.

Everyone who saw was already very afraid if Lion had fallen. Even the teachers and other students shouted for Lion to come down immediately.

"Did losing his bike make him that frustrated?" Athos said to Prothos who stood nearby.

"The kid is weird." Answer Prothos.

Lion saw Melody standing near Niko for a moment.

"Megan I'm gone." Lion muttered.

Then Lion put his skateboard under one foot. Though the width of the parapet he stepped on was no more than 40 cm. And he skated on that skateboard along the parapet.

Niko turned to Melody who was seriously staring at Lion with an expression she could not describe.

"He had no intention of jumping, Lion was just going to have fun." Niko.

But Melody did not respond to him, not even the girl blinked at the sight of the Lion far above.

When Lion was almost at the end of the barrier, he turned his skateboard with his feet to turn but because the width of the barrier was so small his legs slipped.

Everyone who saw her screamed but Melody only covered her mouth with tears that involuntarily dripped. Niko saw.

Fortunately Lion slammed himself into the roof of the building so he just fell into the roof of the building. Soon he got up and saw his skateboard fall to the ground and smashed into pieces.

At the same time Aramis and Anna and several teachers reached the roof of the building.

"My skateboard!!" Excited Lion saw his skateboard lying shapelessly intact again on the ground. "Now you're leaving me."

Lion was in the OSIS room with Anna after the school submitted Lion's case to the OSIS committee. Because of the commotion caused by Lion's action on the roof of the school building, Lion must receive sanctions.

Anna looked at Lion in great astonishment. Right now there were only the two of them in the room. Anna was very inexhaustible with the desperate action of Lion earlier. He was indeed a strange child, but what he did earlier was very dangerous, he could have fallen and died on the spot.

Lion just silently looked at Anna who was still seen looking at him with great anger.

"Anna, I didn't mean to make a fuss. I just wanted to do it to get my adrenaline pumping, lately I'm not excited plus Megan I'm gone, it makes me so sad." Lion. "I have absolutely no intention of free-falling down."

"What's wrong with you? Why are you always never honest?" Look Anna.

"But you've never been honest with yourself." Anna says sharply. "Let's just say you're sad because—"

"It's not that complicated, Anna, I'm just sad that Megan's missing." Cut Lion starts to look upset. "Already, just give the sanctions that I have to live with now. I don't have much time to listen to stubborn people like you either."

Anna took out a piece of paper and placed it before Lion. A statement that Lion will not repeat it again.

"You've been suspended before, but you're lucky because I'm the OSIS chairman." Said Anna.

Lion laughed when he heard it.

"Sign the affidavit if you won't repeat the same mistake again."

"You're the best, Anna. You're not like Ato who instantly gave me suspension. Yeah, even though I'd rather be suspended." Lion replied while signing his statement.

"Lion." Call Anna. "He can only come back if you get him again."

"What are you saying."

"Megan." Anna replied looking at Lion who glanced at her. "I'm talking about your bike."

Prothos stood before Widia in her lover's apartment. After returning home from school she immediately waited for Widia to explain everything that happened during the break.

Throughout the rest of the lesson she kept thinking what she was going to say to Widia, it was impossible if she told the truth to her lover. Widia would be very angry if she knew she was kissing another woman, not even just a regular kiss.

"You don't have to explain anything, I trust you." Widia.

Widia feels that Prothos is currently confused as to what he will say to her, her lover continues to be silent and has not started his conversation.

"I'm sorry." Prothos.

Prothos felt increasingly guilty about Widia's remarks. He increasingly felt that he had betrayed the trust of his lover, the person he loved so much. But he could not say anything at this moment. It was impossible if he told her about his betrayal.

Widia looked at Prothos with great sadness. Something has been bothering her mind lately. He was considering whether to say it to his lover or not.

"Are we actually doing something wrong?" Widia finally said it. His voice shook as it held back his cries. "Would this relationship never have happened?"

"What do you mean?" Staring at Prothos, his forehead creased in confusion at his lover's intentions.

"Are we not supposed to be in this relationship?"

"No! Don't say it like that! There is nothing wrong with this relationship. I love you and you love me too, don't say that!!" Prothus looked at the girl he loved standing before him.

"Different age we—"

"SILENCE!!" Prothos' screams made Widia flinch in shock. "I told you not to say that!!"

Widia stared at how Prothos looked angry at the tear-stained eyes. It made her unable to hold back her own tears.

"It hurts me so much. I believe in you, but it hurts so much to see you with another woman." Said Widia while wiping her tears. "I don't think this should have happened to you. You should have helped her first and not helped me until this relationship was established. I think you're better suited to him."

"STOP YOUR WORDS, WIDI!!" Prothos was very upset. "You make me so angry, I never regret helping or dating you. But why do you regret it?"

Prothos stared angrily at Widia with tears that had washed his face. He was disappointed by the words of his girlfriend. Emotionally, Prothos walks out of Widia's apartment with a broken heart.
