MELODY MUSKETEERS (M911 & TTM)
144. THE SMART VS THE HANDSOME

"What do you want to talk to me about?" Leo asked as he entered opening the door to Athos' room after his son called him to meet him.

"Regarding something very important." Athos answered, trying to sit down and lean on his bed.

Leo immediately sat in a chair facing Athos, ready to listen to his eldest son.

"There's actually something we're hiding from you, dad." Athos said on the topic of conversation. "When you don't have anything bad happen to Oto."

Hearing him Leo snorted while rubbing his face. In his mind he could guess what happened to his son that one. Every time Prothos had a love affair, Leo knew that his son would be in grief, causing Prothos to ruin his life.

"This time more than before, Oto until not focused on studying anymore, he did not enter school for two weeks and since then he has no intention of continuing his future plans again." Athos.

"I'm going to kill the boy. He doesn't deserve to be my son. He can't hold all his words, I've never taught him that." Leo exclaimed with an angry face.

"Listen to me first, father." Athos.

"No Ato, you don't protect him. I'm sure you'll protect him but I still won't spare the boy."

"Actually I need his help for my future plans." Athos. "Regarding the business I'm developing. I need Oto's support so I have a better plan than you to force him to continue his education while he's not interested."

"What do you mean?" Look at Leo curiously.

"I want Oto to jump into the entertainment world. He can be an actor, a model, or anything that can raise his name, because I want to wear him to be a Brand Ambassador for the skin care products I'm producing."

Leo was silent for a moment. He thought about what he had just heard from Athos. So far he has never banned his children in any case but they must continue their education. What else with Prothos that he had always assumed that his son did not have something that can be highlighted compared to his two twin, Athos and Aramis. Athos is a smart kid, he already got a lot of scholarships before taking the graduation exam, while Aramis, who is, although previously his son who had no intention to continue college but his talent has been seen with the frequent winning several painting competitions. But not with Prothos. Leo considers his son only has a very handsome face but does not have other talents, even the value of his lessons must be obtained with difficulty if you want to get good grades.

"I've told you that compared to me and Ars, Oto has always been the most visible of his future but you never admit it because your thoughts on education and talent are the most important." Athos stared intently at his father hoping that his father would understand. "When with his face he can shine more than me and Ars. If he became a celebrity, it was the same that he had already built his future. I hope you understand."

Leo breathed a sharp look at Athos. "So you want me to let him be an artist?"

"Yes, I guarantee everything, in an instant I am very sure that Oto will be immediately famous even now many people already know him." Answer Athos. "It's good for him as well. We will both benefit each other. I'll spread my wings with Oto's help. You have to agree to what I say, father."

With an annoyed look Leo glanced at Athos. If the one who said that was his eldest son who always managed to do everything with his efforts, making him have no other reason to oppose his request even if it was against his wishes.

"Come, dad. Help me for something I want to get this."

"Yes, okay. Just do everything you want. Even if I'm against it, you won't listen to me, right? You arrogant boy."

Athos smiled at the reply from his father.

...***...

"You can start tomorrow, Mona." Athos said on the bed while Mona sat on the desk chair with her laptop.

As usual every night Mona will give Athos a cafe income report. The girl will come to Athos' room to tell him about the cafe's turnover, it's because Athos has not been able to go anywhere without anyone's help.

"You'd better find someone else and don't do all the housework yourself. You will also start college later, plus you also still have to take care of the new business that you said yesterday, right? While your current condition is still like this." Mona told Athos. "It doesn't matter if I'm also still taking care of the cafe for now until Prothos really has a busy schedule."

"It turns out you're good too." Athos.

"Not really. I still want to receive a salary from my job taking care of the cafe and the house." Mona answered and made Athos laugh. "That also means I'm asking for extra as wages to be Prothos' assistant later. I want to get my sister into a nice school that has dorms so I need more money."

"No problem." Answer Athos. "I'll add twenty percent of what you're receiving right now."

"I think Prothos is still better at giving me a salary than you. But all right, I'll take it."

"That's because he can't count properly." Laugh at Athos for Mona's reply. "Make him famous quickly."

"I can guarantee that." Answer Mona.

Suddenly Prothos opened the door of Athos' room. The young man came out of his room to go to the bathroom but his steps came to a halt when he heard Mona was in Athos' room.

"Can't you guys talk in the morning? It's almost eleven o'clock." Prothos stood in the doorway. "You're a woman, Mona. It's not good to be in a man's room this late."

Mona got up from her seat with a sigh hearing Prothus' words.

"Doesn't it make no difference morning or night if someone wants to do something that doesn't? And vice versa, it doesn't matter if it's morning or night that matters there's nothing bad we do." Mona said as she walked out of Athos' room.

Prothus did not respond to the girl's words and immediately entered Athos' room. He sat in the chair Mona had been sitting in, staring at her twin because he felt that Athos and Mona were not just talking about the cafe.

"Is it true you fired Mona?" Ask Prothos.

Athos withstood his laughter hearing Prothus' question.

"He told me like that yesterday—"

"I talked to Dad about the day I told you." Sambar Athos's. "As usual, he won't be able to refute my words."

"Ato, the father of this house is you and not that man." Prothos.

Prothus' words made Athos laugh.

"But he'll kill me right away if everything I've planned fails."

This time the laughing Prothus heard the words of Athos.
