126. PSYCHOPATHS VS VAMPIRES

The atmosphere was quite quiet when the beautiful girl who had just hugged Niko, landed her kiss on Niko's lips, where everyone knew that Niko was present with her future fiance, Melody, the girl standing next to her.

Melody who saw him was surprised because she had not expected it before. For girls it seems like a strange thing to kiss a man in front of a lot of people like the girl did to Niko.

"Damma!!" Ethan pulls his younger sister away from Niko.

The girl named Emma pulled her arm from her brother and smiled at Niko, who was looking at him coldly.

"So which one is your fiancee, Er?" Ask Emma. "What is this girl?"

Emma looked at Melody who looked confused as to what she should be acting like. The girl looked at Melody from toe to head, and smiled afterwards.

"Yes, she is so beautiful because her three brothers are handsome, even now I idolize one of them." Emma. "Your name is Melody, right? No one does not know you. My name is Emma, I'm the ex-fiance of your future fiance."

Emma thrust her hand out to shake Melody, but as usual the stiff Melody just fell silent in shock at the girl's words about who she was. But since the girl called Niko like Nausha called Niko, she already thought that she had a close relationship with Niko.

"Emma, I'm here too, why don't you greet me?" Lion distracts the attention.

"Ah, Lionku." Emma said as she approached Lion and hugged him. "I didn't see you. Geez, we met two years ago and you're a lot taller now. You're getting cool."

"Yes, I'm getting cool." Lion replied smiling. "Introduce this..."

"I'm Karen." Karen shouts with Emma.

Niko looked at Melody and directly took the girl to the veranda. He wanted to explain the situation that had just happened.

"I forgot to tell you about someone I didn't want to meet. She's Emma, my ex-fiance." Niko. "We were betrothed four years ago because my uncle's company and his father were planning to marger, and then he came with me to Russia when I returned to Russia three years ago. But a year later when my left-hand man crashed, he asked his father to cancel the engagement and his father listened to him thinking he didn't want his son to marry a disabled man. Yeah, he used to wish me a swimming athlete so much that he dumped me because I couldn't be a swimming athlete because I'm disabled."

"You're not handicapped, Niko." Melody.

Niko smiled. "Because the engagement failed then the marger plan failed, but the hotel managed by my uncle was more developed rapidly so that our family did not get along anymore."

Melody felt even more sorry for Niko when she heard the story. The girl named Emma left him only because Niko's left hand was on fire. It must have been very painful for Niko at that time.

"Six months later the girl asked me to make up and wanted to continue the engagement, but I refused. When I needed his support he left me, but after that he wanted to come back just for the sake of his father's company, which was far from our company, which had improved greatly."

"You take it easy, Niko, I don't mind anything." Answer Melody.

Niko looked at Melody with a feeling she should not have felt. I don't know why the young man even wanted Melody to be jealous and to take issue with him, but he also knew that the girl had no feelings for him.

"It looks like the show is about to start. Let's go in." Melody.

Melody held onto Niko's right hand and walked inside again, Lion and Karen as well as a few people stared at the presence of the two of them again. Emma was also still there near Lion and Karen.

"Er, you're getting good-looking." Emma approaches Melody and Niko returns.

"Shut up, Em. We don't have any relationship right now." Niko chilled. "We should now act as if we don't know each other."

"Yes, that's how it should be." Emma walked away.

The anniversary event began, Master Ceremony hosted the event until everything went well.

"She's a pretty girl." Karen said when she was with Melody in the toilet.

Melody agreed, because when she saw Emma the first time she felt she was very pretty. She's as pretty as Tasya, that's what Melody thought.

"You're not jealous, Mel? Even though he's the ex-fiance of your future fiancee, he's very brave to kiss Niko in front of you." Karen.

Melody thought of Karen's words, but she couldn't lie, she was just shocked at Emma kissing Niko but there was no jealousy Melody felt.

"It seems you're not jealous." Karen muttered while wearing lipstick on her lips. "You don't like Niko but you want to get engaged and marry her, that's so weird."

Melody was silent to hear Karen's words. She becomes uncomfortable with Niko because she is confused as to what to behave. He is not jealous of what Emma does, but what is his attitude that does not bother about it even makes Niko disappointed in him?

"Where's Niko?" Karen asked Lion when he and Melody returned.

"On the porch." Lion replied, Melody was about to walk to that place. "He's with Emma."

Melody was silent but immediately stepped onto the porch.

The porch door is made of sliding glass doors, closed curtains and only slightly open. From the crack Melody saw Niko standing in front of Emma talking.

Melody became silent just standing behind the porch door that opened slightly. She sees Niko kissing Emma and it's not her usual kiss.

"Your kiss is the best, Er." Emma said with a face adorned with a smile after that hugging Niko. "I shouldn't have left you just yet. I feel guilty now."

"I also know you just had to do the engagement. You were forced to accept it because of our family business deal." Niko replied in a whisper so that Melody who saw did not hear him. "You don't really love me."

"I love you Er, otherwise I wouldn't have given you everything." Stare Emma at Niko still hugging her. "I miss your voice. Your whisperings always make me want to kiss you."

Emma pulls Niko and kisses her passionately.

"You're just a bad girl." Whisper Niko with a cold smile.

Lion walked up to Melody, the girl turned to him who was standing not far away from her.

"You're quiet when your potential fiancee makes out with her ex-fiance?" Ask Lion. "You have only two options, get in there to stop it, or get out of here to end it."

Without a second thought Melody directly opened the porch door and walked in. Lion stared at Melody's decision with nothing to do.

"It turns out you're here." Melody said to Niko.

Emma went straight away and out of the porch. While Niko smiled at Melody even though her heart was currently upset. He was upset that the girl had not reacted to anything after seeing him kiss and kiss another girl.

"You don't want to come in?" Ask Melody. "Here the wind is very strong."

Niko turned her back on Melody as she became more and more annoyed at the girl. He hoped Melody was jealous of him but his efforts were in vain, the girl seemed to not see what had happened earlier. Though the kiss he did was very much different from Melody's kiss on Lion.

"Relic."

"You come in, let me stay here for a second." Niko turned her back on Melody and held on to the fence.

"I don't want you to kiss another woman." Melody exclaimed to make Niko look at her. "We're getting married, you can't do it anymore!"

Inside, Lion who listened to Melody's words walked away from the place in disappointment.

"I was hoping you'd make the second choice." Said Lion with his head bowed walking away from the open porch door. "Psychopaths lose, vampires win."
