102. GOODBYE MY BEST FRIEND

A smile adorned Lion's face with a wave of hands out the window of the taxi door he was riding in. Karen who had just come down replied to him too with the same thing.

When the taxi drove again, Lion took his phone and opened the menu list of phone numbers. Ice Melon is instantly on top of the name because Lion marks it with a favorite. With a consideration Lion pressed the call option.

"Hello..." Melody's voice answered her phone.

"Melody, I want to apologize to you for one thing." Lion.

The beginning of Lion's sentence made Melody a little scared. Lion's words sounded like the time he planned to go abroad after Mario's death.

The two of them were silent because Melody did not answer Lion's words while Lion was still weighing his words.

"I'm sorry I broke my promise." Lion. "When I said I was going to pick you up at the course to go with me to eat ramen, I canceled it without saying anything to you. I also apologize for not answering your phone back then and ignoring it."

Melody remembers this very much because she was very happy and could not wait for the session to end. He was eager to go with Lion because it was the first time the young man had brought him out blatantly. But not Lion who was present but Niko.

"You heard me, right?"

"I've forgotten, you don't have to apologize for a long time gone." Answer Melody. "Why are you suddenly apologizing for that? Why does it feel like you're like this—"

"I just feel like I should apologize to you." Answer Lion. "All right, that's all I want to say."

"Lion, wait..."

But Lion had already turned off his phone before Melody could say something he wanted to say. The girl wanted to wish Lion a happy birthday even though his birthday was long gone. But Lion did not give him a chance to say that.

Melody went back into the garage where Niko was. Niko was heating all her cars, which numbered seven cars and four motorcycles, so that the engines of these vehicles that were rarely used were not damaged.

"Who?" Niko asked as Melody walked back in.

"My father." Melody replied lying. "Why did you do it yourself, Niko?" Tanya Melody approached Niko who had just come out of one of the red sports cars.

"I usually don't do it. Because you're here and I'm confused as to what to do, so I'm doing this alone." Answer Niko honestly. "I'm ordering two new cars, you can pick one later."

"What do you mean?"

"You can wear it, I'll give it as a gift to you."

"No need, I don't have a SIM yet, I won't drive myself anymore." Melody replied recalling Lion's words to her the other day. "Why do you have to buy it again when you have more and more aren't we moving to Russia?"

"Just to fulfill my wish. We'll come here often to go on vacation and visit your father, so it's fine that I buy it." Niko said as she walked closer towards her parked motorbikes.

"Niko, besides swimming what other things do you really like?"

"Melody." Looking at Niko very quickly, she stood at a distance of three meters from Melody. "The other thing I like is you, after that there's nothing else I like."

Melody only fell silent at Niko's unexpected answer. The girl asked this initially with the aim that Niko could fill her free time with things she liked so that the young man felt a little happy.

"I think you like everything about this vehicle so much, that's why you bought it."

"No, I just want to buy it to fill this place." Niko smiled as she approached Melody. "I just love swimming and you love it." Niko stroked Melody's pony hair with her right hand.

"You must remember your words." Melody immediately retreated to avoid Niko.

"Yes, I understand." Niko took a breath and walked straight away. "Now accompany me to swim. If necessary I will teach you too."

The time is five in the afternoon when Lion sits on the edge of the lake where his fight with Aramis will begin in a few minutes. Around him there were many friends who were present to see it, but Aramis still did not come.

Lion just sat quietly by looking at the birds above the lake who were about to return to the nest. He paid no heed to some of his friends who tried to approach him to cancel the life-and-death fight that Lion said.

"Ivan, looks like we should drag..." Lion's words stopped as he stood up and turned around.

Aramis had already appeared there, making Lion's friends numbering in the hundreds very surprised by his presence. But Lion smiled at the presence of his best friend. Ivan who was not far from where the Lion had become retreated away to give space.

Lion and Aramis have faced each other. Lion wore all-white clothes with a white cloth rolling on his right and left palms. Aramis wears a long-sleeved black shirt that is pulled up to the side of his arm, and denim dongker pants.

"I'm glad you came, Ars." Said Lion smiling.

"I'm giving you the Lion a chance to stop this ridiculous thing right now." Aramis stared at Lion. "Don't act crazy!!"

Lion laughed in response to Aramis' words making his best friend can only shake his head.

"Ars, what do you want if you win?" Ask Lion.

"Nothing."

"Alright, then I'll tell you what I want if I win. Do you want to know?"

"no need. If you win, it means I'm dead, so it doesn't affect me with what you want."

Lion laughed again.

"You're absolutely right, but I want something" Lion said. "But I don't know what a— is either"

"That's it, stop blabbering Lion!!" Aramis. "If it is not resolved soon the sun will sink and it will be very dark here. It would be creepy if one of us died in the dark."

"Okay, all right." Lion Smile.

"Alright, go! I want to see what Capoeira's abilities you've learned." Aramis cried. widened his legs by leaning his body ready to fight.

Without the horses Lion immediately threw his kick towards Aramis many times but Aramis was easily able to dodge. Then Aramis counterattacked by pulling Lion and slamming Lion's stomach into his left knee and lastly Lion's head was hit also to the same knee. Blood came out of Lion's mouth.

"Is that how you practice?" Aramis laughed skeptically looking at the already bleeding Lion. "I haven't even put on half my strength yet."

"He was a monster." Ivan muttered who was on the sidelines watching the fight with other friends.

Lion attacked again blindly but again Aramis was able to dodge. Lion is not a match for Aramis at all, everyone knows that and that is true. But Lion continued to attack, launching kicks typical martial arts that he mastered, capoeira, until finally the kick hit Aramis very hard. Aramis fell to the ground, causing his head to stumble and bleed. The voice of Lion's friends cheered.

"I'm sure it's not my luck." Said Lion feeling his training had not been in vain.

Aramis woke up with a little laugh. Lion did not want to take a pause and directly hit Aramis many times, until finally Aramis managed to stop the Lion's punch by dropping Lion on the ground and then pulled him and hit him back.

Finally Aramis strangles Lion with the same grip as when Lion challenged himself while behind the school building.

Check one of Aramis's right hands with your thumb pressing down on the lion's jaw. Making the reaction of Lion's friends become afraid that the fight will end soon and Aramis will strangle Lion to death.

"I'll crush your throat. Goodbye, my friend."
