067. LOVE OF VAMPIRES

Lion who did not come home just waited in the living room to listen to Niko and Melody's conversation. She could also see when Niko hugged Melody while Melody looked frightened.

And it feels like Niko's behavior has gone too far when she raised the face of Melody who was downcast with a little rough. Lion immediately approached them under the pretext of his cellphone left behind and indeed his cellphone was right there. But not left behind but abandoned intentionally when he was about to get out of the piano chair earlier.

A terrified Melody ran at Lion and fell limp into Lion's embrace. Niko looked at Lion where Melody was in his arms right now.

"You okay?" Lion asked Melody.

Melody did not reply, Lion immediately took Melody to a sofa not far from the piano and sat there. Then walking towards Niko, immediately gripped Niko with annoyance.

"It seems you forgot my words, Niko!!" Lion looked at Niko. "I'm tired of repeating it all the time. And now it's all messed up again because of your attitude."

Niko pushed the Lion out of his grip. But Lion immediately landed his punch on Niko's face. Niko did not reply because she began to realize that what she did to Melody was wrong.

Worriedly Niko walked up to Melody who saw the two of them on the sofa helplessly drooping. Lion pulled Niko away from approaching Melody very roughly.

"Melody, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude to you." Niko from a distance. "I'm so sorry."

"Lion, I want to go home." Melody tried to stand up but wavered, so she fell back on the sofa.

"You okay?" Look at Lion on Melody. "Let's go home." Lion helped Melody rise to her feet and swept her running to go home.

Melody walked over while hugging the Lion who was wiping him. He was so grateful that Lion had come to get himself out of a situation that frightened Niko so much.

"I'll call you later, Niko." Lion.

"You okay?" Lion asked as he and Melody were in the car. The rain still falls.

Melody remained silent, and looked out the window of the car door as was her custom. He's starting to feel better now.

"Why not answer? You're okay, right?" Lion repeated his question while holding Melody's arm for Melody to turn to him.

"Yes, I'm fine." Answer Melody.

"Good." Said Lion after it ran his car.

"Lion..." Call Melody staring at Lion who is focused on driving.

"What's wrong?"

"Please don't tell my brothers. I don't want them to know." Melody. "It's all my fault, Niko nothing wrong. He just wanted me not to be afraid of him anymore, and I felt guilty about Niko."

Lion did not answer, he did not know how to respond.

"As you said, I don't want to give Niko false hope. I will follow all his plans, even though I must continue to fear him. I started it first by following all your words, so I also have to endure because I have come this far." Melody added wiping away the tears that involuntarily came out from her eyes. "Lion, how can I not be afraid of Niko anymore?"

Lion did not answer because the question was actually very easy. If Melody loves Niko then she will stop being afraid of her, at least like that. But Lion was already reluctant to repeat the same word as yesterday, not because he was lazy but because he did not want Melody to really love Niko. It was the same as putting herself away in the heart of the girl.

"The three of them have agreed, and I think it's been good, therefore I'll continue everything. Niko was planning to step down because my condition was afraid of her, but she urged me to go back to her original plan. I'd agree. What say?" Melody spoke as she stared out the car door window again this time noticing the rain stubs in the sky.

Lion did not answer.

"You don't answer does that mean you agree?" Melody asked without looking at Lion.

Lion remained silent to answer. That made Melody very sad. He hoped that Lion would forbid him from agreeing to it, but he felt that he should know that Lion could not possibly forbid it. Yang Melody knew Lion did not have any feelings for her, plus her words earlier that called himself only the guard dog Melody.

No more talking happened until they got to Melody's house. Athos and Aramis approach their presence. Melody immediately walked down with a step that was still weak.

"You okay, Melo?" Athos approached his brother and immediately embraced him. "What happened to Lion?"

Melody went into her room after Athos helped her. He immediately lay down onto the bed with his sadness. His tears flowed profusely thinking of Lion who was just silent and did not respond to his question.

I was hoping you would ban me, but it seems like you don't have any feelings for me. I should have known, but it still hurts.

Melody nodded with tears.

Lion entered his room after taking a shower. Aramis was waiting for him in the room. He sat on a desk chair where Lion used to play PC games and study.

"I want to rest, I don't want to play games, Ars." Said Lion while drying his hair with a towel, sitting on the side of the bed. "My head hurts from the rain."

"What's going on? Did Niko scare Melo again?" Ask Aramis.

"Come out, I don't want to see you." Lion did not look at Aramis.

"Why? You mad at me?" Aramis continued to stare at the Lion before him. "Are you mad at me because I agreed? Answer Lion!!"

"My head hurts, go away."

"You told me yourself it was the only open road. Why are you being so sentimental to me now?" Ask Aramis. "You're making me go awry."

"Everything you do is wrong, Ars." Look Lion. "Oh, just get out!! I want to sleep."

"You're confusing me, Lion. Melo wants me to agree, you do too, I've agreed to it but now your attitude is like this. What am I supposed to do now? Melo is my sister and you are my best friend, from the beginning I was hoping if you were together but what happened all this time you two seemed to not want that. What you actually like is each other. You're both very complicated, making me the most wrong person among you." Aramis exclaimed after that walking out Lion's room in annoyance.

"Niko wanted to back off her plan but after you agreed to it she wanted to go back to her original plan. You screwed up everything again, Ars." Lion said as he was alone after Aramis left. "You're a fool, Ars."

Lion lay on his bed. He thought about Niko's treatment of Melody earlier and it made him very anxious to get angry. But he is no one else for Melody, even as her guard dog is not while Niko is the girl's future husband.

Niko was at her favorite spot, in the indoor pool smoking her electric cigarette.

In reality Melody who already knew about Aramis who made her left hand burn disturbed her mind. It was the same as opening up the fact that Melody only pitied herself to be willing to marry him. It made her become convinced that the girl liked Lion. But his love for Melody did not want to let Melody go.

"From the beginning I should have known because everything went well. And from the very beginning I had intended to make you mine, no matter what I had to do I would. I don't even care if I lose Lion." Niko muttered with a one-way view.
