174. MELODY THE LION

"Twinkle twinkle little star, How I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high. Like a diamond in the sky. Twinkle twinkle little star's. How I wonder what you are."

Melody opened her eyes when she heard Lion sing. Lion who was still sitting on the chair beside the bed he was sleeping on smiled at him.

"I woke you up?" Lion.

"You can sleep Lion, it's past midnight." Melody said in wonder. "Why are you singing?"

Lion shook his head unwilling to answer. He did not want to say that he was confused at this moment. But it is undeniable that he feels happy too.

"I don't want to sleep, I don't want this night to go by so quickly." Lion looked at Melody.

In the morning, Lion did not sleep last night. He kept thinking about what he should do, and didn't know what to do now. He should have been getting ready at this time because it will be eight in the morning his plane to Japan will leave. But even he had not prepared everything. It is now five in the morning.

Melody who asked him not to go anywhere undoes his intentions. It also makes him not know what to behave like to Niko. Niko who has not been around since taking Melody to the hospital made Lion think that he had violated their agreement.

But there is anger in Lion in Niko because the young man let bad things happen to his own prospective fiancee. He does not regret breaking their agreement.

"Darling, are you okay?" Leo—'s voice Melody woke up her sleeping daughter. Leo walked into the VIP room with worry.

"Dad." Call Melody with a cry when she sees her father.

The rising Lion stood up from his chair, and somewhat stepped aside to let Leo approach his grieving beloved daughter. He stared at Melody's face that was back in tears when he saw her father's presence. She and the girl should be separated for good today.

"Leo, I'm sorry." Lion said to Melody's father. "What happened to her was all my fault."

"Therefore I will punish you, Lion!!" Upset Leo turned his head to the Lion standing behind him.

"Well, you can punish me. I'll take all the punishment from you, whatever it is." Lion answered with a bow. "I'll be out—"

"No, Lion!!" Melody exclaimed who did not want Lion to go anywhere. He was afraid that the Lion would leave the country. "You said you wouldn't leave if I asked, right?!"

"Can't I go for breakfast?" Lion looked at Melody.

His thoughts still filled his mind as Lion walked towards the hospital cafeteria. He still has not decided whether to call Niko or go directly to see her. He who did not go wanted no engagement later that night. But the young man did not want to ask him directly to the young man whom he already considered brother.

"You're going to hit something if you walk down like that, you idiot!!" Liam's voice came from inside the hospital canteen.

Lion immediately raised his head and saw Liam waving his hand with the three Musketeers sitting at one table with his cousin.

Looking at all of them, Lion's head was boiling. The young man immediately walked over quickly, entering the canteen.

The three Musketeers and Liam welcomed Lion's presence by rising to their feet, ready to receive the young man's anger.

Without further ado Lion landed his punch to the four of them who just remained silent did not retaliate. In fact, they all chuckled at what Lion did until the people around them watched the five young men in surprise.

"You're all completely insane!! You're going to make Melon's trauma worse, aren't you thinking about that?!" The furious Lion. "Why do you approve of this crazy idea of a cursed man? I didn't think of the three of you."

The three Musketeers said nothing, they just kept giving their little laughs at the Lion's words.

"I regret always being behind you. Now you're playing me." Upset Lion snorted.

"Nobody's playing you, Lion." Athos let out his voice.

"Right, we're just resuscitating you." Add Prothos.

"But you're endangering your own sister!!" Lion still looks very upset. "You should... Felix it... Melon sure.. arrgghh!!" Lion growled as his words were muddled from being too emotional.

Lion held his breath to quiet his emotions in order to say regularly.

"You know what Felix is? He hated me so much after beating him up first. What if he really hurt your sister yesterday?"

Hearing Lion's words, the three Musketeers simply smiled. They already knew something so sure Felix wouldn't dare to actually hurt their sister. And regarding Melody's trauma, they didn't matter even they just wanted Lion to be the only man Melody didn't fear.

"I'll tell you something my sweet sister." Liam walked closer to Lion. "You have the friendship formula, but I also have the brotherhood formula, the enemy of my brother is my slave!!" After saying that Liam laughed out loud.

Lion was increasingly inexhaustible in his cousin's brother who he felt was like a genuine psychopath, beyond himself.

"You know Lion, you have no enemies in this world other than one person." Said Liam and got a cynical look from Lion. "That's you."

Hearing him Lion snorted in annoyance.

"For a boy like you, you've never been selfish. You always think of others rather than yourself. That sounds good, but there are times when you have to think about yourself and do whatever you like. You can get what you want with a little selfishness, it doesn't matter, it's all about respecting yourself." Liam.

"Then what? What can I do now? I'm not leaving, but I still don't want to stop the engagement. That's not fair to Niko." Lion was still upset.

"Therefore I said you should also be a little selfish fool!!" Liam was very upset. "Here you are, you never think of your own desires."

"Lion, Niko's going back to Russia in a few hours." Aramis.

"What do you mean, Ars?" Lion looked surprised.

"It seems he realized that he shouldn't have been unfair to you." Answer Prothos. "He stopped all plans."

"Niko has already canceled the engagement and will return to Russia without informing you and Melo." Added Athos.

Lion walked back to the room Melody was being treated. The news of Niko cancelling the engagement and planning to leave, made her even more confused. But he will give Melody all the decisions at this moment.

The young man opened the door and saw Leo and Ronald who had just released the infusion in Melody's hands.

"Why was the infusion removed?" Lion asked Ronald.

"Melo can go home." Answer Ronald.

"really?" Lion turned to Melody who was already sitting on the bed.

Seeing the girl made Lion remember to say what he wanted to say about Niko.

"Melons..." Said Lion starting his words with a serious look.

Leo and Ronald knew about the news that Lion was trying to tell Melody so they both rushed out of the room.

Melody looked at Lion. From her face the girl knew if anything serious the young man wanted to say to her.

"Niko's going back to Russia this morning." Lion.

Melody looked surprised to hear Lion's words.
