A Piece of the Past In White Grey

A Piece of the Past In White Grey
Chapter 19

At the company, Papi was waiting for me to come with him to meet with the client. Of course with me who still has to be accompanied by the assistant Papi. Although Papi's face was always flat on me, but he was very loving in his silence. We rushed that day out of the office and into a restaurant. During the trip, Papi's assistant Dava kept explaining to me the proposal I learned last night. I know a little bit about the contents of the proposals sent from other companies.

After a few minutes, the car arrived at a restaurant. Quite surprised when I saw there precisely Mami Tasha was already standing up to welcome our arrival. It was more likely that Papi arrived.

“Loh no Mommy, Pi?” I looked at Papi in wonder.

“Hem.” The short answer that Papi gave. I just keep quiet. And now appears Papi who immediately embrace the friendly Mami. We sat on each of the chairs that were on that one round table.

Food reviews were already in place at that time. Mami Tasha really paid attention to whatever Papi was going to eat. No need to order the menu again.

“Loh Om Deo?” I say hello to the shock of seeing the man who became Papi's prospective business partner. He is Endah's father. One of my former friends.

We were both surprised. “Agatha? Wow is this a sign that you started to jump into the business world?” I just nodded.

“I'll teach them a lesson before they let me go, Mr. Deo.” Papi is now.

We all ate casually after that Tasha's Mami told us to go home and leave us to take care of work. I salute the role of Mami as a wife who cares so much for Papi without caring if his body must be tired.

And now night has been welcomed when we just finished the meeting. Where Papi is still considering the offer submitted back by his father Endah. Even though the proposal we have learned and father as well. In fact, today's meeting is not the end as a sign. Papi is very selective considering all forms of cooperation.

“Tha, shower gih. The warm water has been provided by Mami. Get some rest soon? Oh yes, because of your name, you loh.” I just nodded weakly.

“Still well, Mami.” I passed to the room after getting a swab at the top of my head by Mami.

Arriving in my room I did nothing but take a shower and go to sleep. My body is very tired and tomorrow maybe I can do something else before leaving for campus during the day.

The short story of the morning I wanted to miss with a break had to be interrupted by the knock of the door in front of my room.

“Agatha!”

“Tha, open the door dong.”

“Agatha, open our door dong!” The boisterous shouting in front of the room made me blink my eyes feel like a dream.

My eyes narrowed at the sunshine in the window of the room.

“Who is bothering me?” my grunts are back. However, shortly afterwards a knock was heard.

“Tha, open the door. Please...” Can no longer sleep. I forced my body to wake up and open the door I had locked from the inside.

It was like a dream to see my five ex-friends running into the room.

“What are you doing?” I asked with ketus. Because I think everything has changed no longer like before. They are no longer people who can be so familiar in my house.

“We want to apologize.”

“Iya, Tha. We were wrong.”

“Sorry we are all well, Agatha.” I just stood up without any intention of stepping near them. My hands crossed in front of my chest.

How could they so easily apologize while I myself desperately tried to reconcile myself.

“It's over, right? You want each of us? It’s okay. I don't have a problem. After all until whenever I will not want to know the person who runs out sweet as in throw.” In my heart I laughed at what I said.

What sweet things did they get from me? Hasn't it been me who has been troubling them with all my thoughts?

“Tha, please don't drama like that courtship guy. We want to apologize for accusing you of that. We're better at kayaking first, right?” It's not that easy to forgive them.

Choose to shower and prepare. Although at first I had no plans to go to the office this morning, but in order to avoid them I would go with Papi to the office.

For a moment I stopped bathing in the bathroom when I heard a noise out there.

“Gosh what are they doing in my room?” I hurried out of the bathroom and it turned out that the five girls were already screaming hysterically while picking up my phone.

My head is shaking in frustration. Obviously I saw Gara making a video call on my phone and those who picked up.

If I thought they were going to leave with my indifference, it would be wrong. They just went stupid and are currently enjoying a video call with my sister.

“Gara!”

“Gar, when to return to Indo?”

“Iya. We miss loh.” My eyes rolled lazily hearing all those questions.

Okay today I'll leave them at home and to the office without carrying a cell phone. I don't think that's a problem.

Too cool with 'cause they don't care about me leaving. I'm coming with Papi in the car.

“Loh your friends are staying?” mami Tasha asked who drove us to the car.

“Let's go, Mi. Most of them want video calls the same because of aja tuh.” sahutku stupid.

Mommy and papi are no longer sewed. I hugged and kissed Mommy before we left. Half a day I work to help Papi take care of checking the financial statements that have just been given by papi's assistant.

It feels like my brain is starting to get a little controlled with every look at the numbers in front of my eyes. Unlike before my head often feels dizzy looking at a row of numbers.
