A Piece of the Past In White Grey
Chapter 7
One week of my vacation I spent with Mami accompanying the sick Papi. It's not very sick, but we can't bear to let Papi just like that without serving him. Even I always see Mami who kisses papi's forehead to give spirit. Like the atmosphere this morning where Mami seemed to feed the papi with patience. The porridge that Papi ate was made by Mami herself without my help or the servants.
"Agatha, Mami see this one week you didn't go to college?" My mom asked me a question when I was in their room. Papi looked at me as if waiting for an answer.
"Have you been off to college?" Papi asked in a hoarse voice.
Papi got the flu and coughed until it made his body fever. I slowly nodded answering Papi's question.
"Have fun, Agatha. Papi will get you a ticket. Where the hell are you going? To your sister's place?" papi asked, making me shake again. My intention to visit Gara is no more at this time. I just want to be at home with Mami and Papi. At least being a child that should be self-aware, that's what's on my mind right now. As a child, I have never done anything to make them happy.
"No, Pi. I'm just at home learning. Some of my friends are all here and no one goes on vacation. I just got home that time too. Later if Mami and Papi visit because I'm coming along." Tasha's mom who just smiled I saw.
Even though I was the child they raised lovingly, but I was very careful in keeping Mami's feelings. I don't want to make her sad with Papi who is over-treating me.
This afternoon I even made a pact with my friends to gather together after making sure Papi improved. And I've asked permission with Mami.
I drove my four-wheeled vehicle that accompanied me during college. The atmosphere of the streets that look crowded makes me so relaxed to enjoy the steering. Until a few times the notification on my phone did not ignore. After all, in a few seconds, I will arrive at my meeting location with friends.
"Hi gais..." My voice echoed in the cafe that afternoon. Until my smiling face suddenly faded to see one man among my friends.
I stopped pulling the chair I wanted to sit on.
"you guys? Why is he with you?" I asked with a face full of confusion.
I had long tried to avoid everything related to him but today without my guessing it was a figure that I hated so much that was present in front of me with a body that was already standing close to me.
"Agatha, please listen to me first." His hands were flying trying to reach my hands. However, as quickly as possible I turned my hand in the other direction. It would be completely unacceptable for me to be touched by someone with no heart like him.
"I'm sorry, Agatha. I have absolutely no idea what happened to you at that time. I really don't know. I understand that you will definitely blame me for this." said the woman in front of me.
"Well, I must blame you, Rifana." A woman I hate so much. I hated it so much that without listening to the sound of my friends shouting and running after me, I hurried to leave the cafe.
