ACIEL'S DIARY : INDIGO

ACIEL'S DIARY : INDIGO
SHEET 5.2: WEIRD PAINTER

Due to Master's mysterious increased weight since he returned from the Spirit Party earlier, I decided to help him reduce that weight by accompanying him on walks under the afternoon sky.

It's still two hours since I came home from the exhausting Study Tour, to be honest I really want to sleep at the moment but no matter what happens I can't let this black cat get fat. It has to do with my safety.

Today Aunt An and the others are not around, it seems they are still out for shopping or whatever and it will make it easier for me to move without asking her permission.

I've also finished homework so there won't be any problems for now. After tying the rope on Master's neck, I walked side by side with him. It seems that Master has some dissatisfaction about it.

"Why would a high-level Spirit like me have to wear something that clearly lowers the grand degree that I put out of this? It's been very disturbing to my breathing so let go, stupid boy."

The master shook his head and twisted it, using his front legs to scratch the neck fastener but it seemed that his efforts were lacking to remove it.

I held one of those black little legs to stop him.

"Master, don't let go of that. If Master releases it then Master will not be able to go to the store and it will make you unable to eat meat Bakpao for today. Is the Master sure about that? I don't have a problem with both."

After all, the one who will end up paying for everything is me.

As I expected, the black cat immediately walked over and forgot about it.

"What can we do then, let's go and finish this joke."

Master, are you sure you're wearing that collar? What about that grand degree you're taking out? This cat really takes everything very lightly.

I really want to say it but there are some things better not to say.

Because—

"Once again you think of something disrespectful about me like that, I'll take all your money and go myself to the store to buy it myself."

—Because the Master can figure it out even though I didn't say it. Until now I don't know how he did it, there's no chance to ask him.

"I'm sorry, I won't repeat it. And also, the officials of his shop will not serve cats so the Master's business may be free."

Well, I will find out all about Master slowly, there is no need to do it in a hurry. Besides, I know we're gonna be together for a long time.

"Foolish boy like you always apologizes and repeats the same mistakes. Then the judgment you gave me earlier made you look even more stupid, how could I possibly enter a human shop with this form, right? At least use a little bit of your brain, you idiot."

"Ya~ ya~ forgive me for being stupid~"

Holding tightly the rope that connected my hand to the neck of the black cat walking beside me, we tried not to attract as much attention as possible.

Because ordinary people who see me will think if I speak for myself.

After walking for an hour around some of the complexes and taking a considerable distance, I decided to stop at a park, sit at one of the huts there, lay my body down and relax my legs.

The master who also experienced the same fatigue, laid his body on top of mine, yawned and licked his stomach.

And in that moment I realized, Master's weight still hasn't decreased at all.

"Hm? What's with that look? Do you realize that my weight hasn't decreased? Actually I began to realize in the middle of the trip earlier if my weight increased due to my elongated fur because the temperature became cold. It has nothing to do with food."

"Eh? Could something like that happen?"

"Isn't that happening in front of you right now?"

"So, does that mean what we did today was in vain?"

"No, these roads will not be in vain because the main purpose we do it is to buy meat Bakpao. As long as we finish it, nothing goes to waste."

"Is that so? Thank goodness then ... Hm?"

From the brush he was holding, it was certain that the person was a painter.

Since he was facing the other direction at the moment, I could not see his face but from the structure of the body that it contained, it was obvious if he was a man who was around twenty years old. With a girl wearing maid clothes standing next to him.

A painter with a girl wearing maid attire next to him, an unusual sight to behold. Maybe he's a rich kid around here?

But painting in the middle of the park in the afternoon like this, it seems like he is indeed a strange person. I better not go near him.

"Huh?! Butterfly?!"

When I saw the strange painter with his servant, Master was acting strangely. The cat jumped off my body and climbed up the wall, chasing after something that flew in the sky.

It was a butterfly, Master chased after him and disappeared behind the bushes while wearing a rope around his neck. A while later, the Master's existence had already completely disappeared, leaving me alone in the hut.

I was at a loss for words after seeing all this. What are the most appropriate words to describe what I am feeling right now?

"The cat ... What the hell is he doing? Leaving the person he was protecting just like that and disappearing in the bushes. I thought I had left him as free as possible as a guard, I also bought him plenty of food."

Did I choose the wrong Spirit Guard? No, it shouldn't.

Did ya? I'm not sure about that.

"Whatever it is, I have to find it. It'll be hard if he gets lost."

I immediately stood up and went down on the hut, stretching out a little bit of my body. And just as I was about to take the first step, my ears caught the sound of the call.

"Anu! Excuse me!"

Based on the ratio of people who were in the park at the moment, there was only one possibility about who the person who was trying to call me was.

"Urgh—!!"

I tried to ignore the voice to leave immediately but because of the panic, my foot misplaced and tripped over the stone, making me fall on the grass.

My path to getting out of the situation being accosted by a freak is completely covered. It was marked by footsteps getting closer to me and something touching my back.

"Are you okay? Let me help you stand."

"Ah, yes ... Thanks."

The man stretched out his hand, I reached him. His hands gave off the smell of paint and oil, with a slippery sensation. I should try to hold it.

After clearing my knees and palms, I immediately faced the man in front of me. It seems that only he came up to me, the girl in the butler's clothes only saw us from a distance, I better just ignore it.

"I'm sorry, but you were calling me, is there something?"

Since the situation said about me having to open up the flow of conversation, I started first, in a friendly tone.

The man seemed a little surprised but the look on his face immediately returned, replying to the question I asked with a small smile.

"You? Ah yes, actually I was looking for someone to judge my new painting. Do you want to be one of them?"

Sorry, but no.

I'd really like to say that but this guy has helped me.

"All right, I'll do it."
