ACIEL'S DIARY : INDIGO

ACIEL'S DIARY : INDIGO
CHAPTER 3.1: THE MOON PRINCESS' PROMISE

Closing the barn door, removing the uniform and putting the bag on the dusty floor, I walked towards the study table at the end of the barn, sat on the chair and faced the black cat that was relaxing on the table.

The cat was still licking his legs, as if he was unaware of my presence.

"Okay, I came home early today and it didn't give me time to talk about a few things with my new friend. Master, I hope the conversation this time has worth it."

There was no change, Master completely ignored my words and of course this ignited a bit of burning embers inside. I grabbed the body of the cat and buried my face in its belly, and blew on it.

"Stop, you stupid boy!! It's uncomfortable!!"

"Ouch!!"

The cat raised its claws, scratched the earlobe and I immediately released it.

"Master, you really clawed my ears."

"That's because you did something stupid."

"But the Master also ignored me, I only intend to retaliate."

"That's what I call stupid, and the reason I ignore your words is because you say stupid things. How could you possibly have a friend, right?"

"No, I really have it. We just met today."

"Forgot that, let's get straight into the main topic."

The master sat back on the table and closed his eyes, then reopened them. His gaze looked different from before, with a greenish glow to his eyes that shone quite brightly.

"What I want to talk about right now is about something that your mother, Anella Luciel left behind. As a descendant, you should know because the possibility of you getting involved in the future is quite large."

Something my mom left out? I don't know why the atmosphere is starting to get a little heavy. The master also installed a serious mode.

"engaged? Is that something dangerous?"

The master shook his head softly at the question I asked.

"No, not really. It will depend on how to handle it, if you're smart enough then the thing I'm about to say is completely harmless but unfortunately you're stupid, which is why I have to tell you."

This cat always inserts a lot of gaps to put some ridicule on me in his explanation. I want to oppose it but it's better to be quiet at the moment.

"So, what is it? Something I left behind."

The master laid his body on the table, moving his slowly elongated tail and enveloping his body.

"Anella Luciel, also known as the Princess of the Moon. With white hair like snowy plains and blue-green jeweled eyes that reflect the color of the ocean and the forest in it. The name Moon Princess was widely known in the Spirit World but only a small part of her actually knew her real name."

The Master's tail emitted a black-colored mist that spread rapidly and made my gaze filled with darkness.

but all the darkness instantly changed with a scene that featured hundreds of Spirits feasting on the vast green grassy plains, with a white-haired girl holding fruits in her hands.

The girl smiled widely, wearing a thin white dress that increasingly exuded her charm. He looks so much fun.

Anella Luciel ... Princess moon ... White hair ... Greenish blue eyes ... So anyway.

I do have some preconceived notions but with this everything is confirmed.

The scene on the mist changed, revealing the white-haired girl who was subduing a mountain-sized Spirit in front of her. Then it changed once again, revealing the white-haired girl who ate wine with many little spirits and laughed with them.

Then the scene changed once again, revealing the white-haired girl who extended a slender little hand with her pale skin to the Spirit in front of her. A smile filled with confidence was vividly painted on his every action.

"The same acquisition, the girl was also famous for often promising something to every Spirit that attracted her attention. He always promises things, which he makes too many promises and he may have forgotten them. That resulted in many of the promises he made were still unfulfilled to date."

The scenery disappeared, with the black fog thinning. The look in my eyes returned to normal as usual.

"What I want to tell you right now is how a deal works. When a man makes a covenant to the Spirit and if he loses his life before he can keep it, the thread itself will automatically run to his offspring."

... Huh uh?

"What does that mean ... I have to keep the promise you made to the Spirits, because I'm the only offspring?"

"Normally so, but there are many Spirits who do not know if Anella has offspring. The only Spirit that knows that clearly is me, at least there won't be a single Spirit looking for you right now."

Oh, so that means my identity is still safe, huh? Thank goodness then.

There may be some of those Spirits who try to vent their anger on me because my mother did not keep the covenant they had agreed to and kept the Spirits waiting.

And when I felt that sense of relief, it was easy for Master to destroy everything, using only one sentence.

"But the moment they sniffed the same smell of your body as Anella, they would definitely notice it right away. Besides I know it the same way, you still remember it, right?"

In a moment, the piece of memory where I first met Master and he who sniffed my body with his big nose flashed. That's right, Master recognized me right away.

Then—!!

"Eh? Doesn't that mean it's only a matter of time until my identity spreads between the Spirits and they're all after me? Master, what should I do?"

"Just calm down, I told you I was the guard protecting your body, right? As long as I'm around, I won't let those gibbons ruin your body which is my dessert. You don't have to worry too much."

"Masters ... Turns out Master also memi—"

"But it only happens when I'm around you. If at that time I am in the midst of drinking or feasting with the Spirits, then I alone will not be able to protect your body. That's why you should be able to forge yourself."

"No, all you have to do is stop drinking and be the watchman who really does his job, right?"

The master ignored him, jumping on my shoulder and coiling his tail around my neck, a hint of greenish-blue colored light shot out from his black tail.

"You already have a strong foundation with an enormous Spiritual Energy. The rest is just training yourself to make the most of it. But unfortunately I never taught a human being to do so, therefore you should be able to find a teacher or learn everything yourself."

"Study by yourself or find a teacher, huh? How did you learn that first? Mother is also very good at subduing the Spirits, right?"

"I don't know, by the time I met her that girl had mastered a lot."

"I see, I understand."

Strengthened myself with the foundation I have now, huh? It was indeed the clearest choice for those Spirits not to bother me anymore.

Hm? It reminds me of one thing.

"Master, I've obtained a copy that contains spells and a lot of other information, maybe I can use it."
