ACIEL'S DIARY : INDIGO

ACIEL'S DIARY : INDIGO
SHEET 3.11: THE PURPOSE OF WHICH IS SOLVED

"Cumo ... Scary."

Seeing the giant snake lying limp in the forest with its huge body, inexplicably gave some touch of a desire to heal it.

But right now there is no time for that, moreover it is not something I can just do. I looked to the side, at Beida who was still frozen as she looked towards the snake.

"I didn't expect Mr. Vips to be defeated with just one strike ... Unbelievable ... Am I dreaming right now?"

He muttered some insignificant things, I decided to ignore him and pat Master's feather, asking for his attention.

"But isn't he too easy to beat? Master, what's going on? What attack did Master give it did indeed have such a powerful effect? I think this snake can still hold it a few more times."

"From the beginning of Vips strength was measured not from the pure power or the magnitude of Spiritual Energy he had. What made him a High-tier Spirit was his eyes. Even though he was reluctant enough to use it."

"Ranell ... I think all those high-level Spirits have more or less the same power. It turns out that there are specifications or details of special abilities that each of them has, huh?"

"Hm? Of course, right? Haven't I told you this before? If every spirit has its own will and duty. It's only natural that we have differences with each other."

"Ah, right too. I remember if Master had ever said something like that before. Sorry, I just forgot about it."

"Look, from the beginning I never expected anything from that stupid brain of yours so you don't have to be too ... Hm? You two, shut up."

The master rose higher in the sky and raised his head high. Closing his eyes, focusing his hearing on his moving ears a few times then snorting in annoyance afterwards.

"Damn it, I'm a little off guard."

"Master, what's going on?"

"When we had a little bit of a fight with this stupid snake, the white bear was almost getting its honey. There's only a little time left until we can catch up to his place. You two get ready quickly, I'll be on my way."

"Eh? Getting ready?"

Regardless of anything, the Master lowered his posture and in a matter of two, his body instantly shot forth like an arrow, forming a straight through the clouds and flocks of birds that passed through.

Being in a situation like this reminded me of being on Wasa's back and flying with her before, but Master did so at a speed that could not be compared. It makes it a little difficult to catch a breath.

"Mr Aciel!! Help me!!"

There was a voice calling out to me, but it was instantly muffled by this extremely strong wind.

Just in case I looked to the side but what I found there was Beida who was about to slide out and release her grip on Master's feather.

It seemed that this grasshopper was not strong enough to withstand the thrust when the Master started running at high speed and it caused him to crash due to his position that was still not fitting.

With power still left on my body, I tried to extend a hand towards him, holding onto one arm and pulling it. Holding his head down on Master's feathers as close as possible.

"Dad!! Hold this feather as if your life is at stake!! In fact, a skinny grasshopper like you would definitely die if it was thrown at this speed!! Remember that!!"

"All right!! I understand!!"

I don't know if Master heard this or not but after Beida replied, his speed increased once again. It makes it harder to hold the fur.

Fucking cat!! Slow down a bit or we'll die!!

"Mr Aciel!! There's something I want to tell you!!"

I thought such an answer was effective enough to undo Beida's intentions but it seemed that I was wrong. The grasshopper approached me with great difficulty and shouted.

"No!! I'll say it now!!"

"Huh?! Whatever!! Just say!!"

"All right!! I want to thank you for helping me to find Huflu so far!! Honestly, I never thought you would do it, even if it was something your mother promised you!!"

"What?!! Is that all?!! Then keep your mouth shut and don't think too much!! Besides my mother, I also did all this for myself!! You don't need to thank me, because this is a natural thing!!"

"Stay still!! I want to thank you!! Then I want to say one more thing!!"

It's starting to feel annoying, can't this grasshopper hold back right now? I really had trouble responding to it, it was better to just ignore it and let it speak.

I nodded a few times to answer Beida's earlier statement. The back of it looked at him and brought his head closer once more.

"You once asked me about the reason why I was looking for something like Huflu even though I was a weak Spirit, right?!! The answer I gave earlier was indeed not a lie but it was also not a truth!!"

"Then?! What's wrong with that?!"

"The real reason why I seek Huflu is to find immortality!! That was the initial intention I had when I looked for it!!"

An eternity?

"Not that immortality is just something exaggerated?! Master had already said that before, right?!"

"Yes!! I know it is just a rumor!! But I found out recently!! Before I knew it, my purpose of searching for Huflu was really to obtain the immortality that was within it!!"

"What are you after him for?! Are you the type of Spirit who fears being annihilated and hates nothingness?!"

"No, not that!!"

"Then tell me why you want eternity!!"

"I'm looking for immortality it's for me to give it to my wife!!"

"Huh?! Wife?! What do you mean?!"

"Actually ...!!!"

Beida also explained some points on the situation he was in. I was a little upset that he took a bad timing to tell it but I chose to shut up and listen to everything.

Even so, I can't say if the story Beida gave was something bad.

In fact, his search for Huflu was to give immortality to his suffering wife and wanted to make her live eternally so that her wife would not feel any more suffering.

The beginning of his quest for Huflu was the moment when he knew nothing, therefore he was absolutely certain that Huflu would grant an eternity to those who obtained it.

The fact that there were many high-level Spirits participating in Huflu's quest was quite strong evidence for him. That's why he kept looking and searching, but never got a single Huflu in every session he held.

In the end, his wife also perished by itself because the suffering she experienced was over the limit of what she could accommodate. Then to make up for it, Beida chose to spend her time looking for Huflu even though she didn't need him too much.

Until finally he knew, if Huflu did not give an eternity.
