ARC 1 - Fall to Rise

The news of the collapse of Zhang Xue's government spread rapidly. The North Wind Fortress was conquered after Jie Hung government troops came to attack. All the residents in the Chi residence were evacuated to the Yin Empire, while the warriors from the Sacred Sun Sect fought to the point of the last blood to defend their territory.

Chi Zhoufan heartily stared at Shu En's departure along with Chi Yue, Chi Yuan, Guang Yu and the other young cultivators.

The devastating battle was known as the Battle of the North Wind and was won by Jie Hung and his allies. By conquering the North Wind Fortress then Jie Hung managed to destroy the Chi Nobles and the Sacred Sun Sect.

In the midst of the public execution for Chi Zhoufan, General Chi Huangshan and the Elders of the Sacred Sun Sect to be shown, Shu En appears and is caught by General Wang Zhi.

“This boy can't cultivate! She is Queen Zhang's adoptive sister isn't she?!” General Wang Zhi threw Shu En's body in front of Chi Zhoufan whose body was crucified.

Jie Hung looked at Shu En who was covered in bruises. The man smiled with a grin and intended to make Shu En a prisoner for Zhang Xue to return.

”You! I will not forgive you! I'll kill you all!” shu En shouted hatefully knowing that the people around Jie Hung had destroyed Zhang Xue.

“This rancid boy! Realize your position boy!” Jie Hung kicked Shu En in the face and stepped on her.

Chi Zhoufan who already had no strength to resist was surprised to see Shu En being tortured by Jie Hung and Wang Zhi.

“You are truly damned! You tortured a little boy and made him suffer!”

Hearing Chi Zhoufan could still make a sound, Jie Hung gave orders to his troops to kill Chi Zhoufan.

“Enter, why are you here? Didn't I tell you to go with Yuan and the others?” chi Zhoufan asked as he tried to move his crucified body.

Shu En shed tears seeing Chi Zhoufan and the others being tortured to such an extent.

“I escaped! I want to save you! Why am I so weak?! Why am I like this?!”

Shu En screamed desperately as he realized his helplessness. Even now Shu En was still being tormented by Jie Hung who kept beating his face and stomach.

“See! Take a good look at how they died!” jie Hung said as he grabbed Shu En's hair.

Shu En's eyes stared at how Huang Liao was killed with hundreds of fire arrows filled with Qi all over his body. Then followed by the death of Huo An who was stabbed with dozens of spears throughout his body.

“Stop! Don't you guys have the slightest bit of mercy?!” shu En shouted as he saw the Elders of the Sacred Sun Sect being killed one by one.

“Hahahaha! Your mercy?! I give compassion only to women, stupid boy!” Jie Hung shouted loudly and smashed Shu En's head to the ground.

“Oh, I just remembered. I also give my compassion to your Aunt Hong that.”

But everything Shu En does is free. He could only endure the torment and see how the Elders of the Sacred Sun Sect were killed.

When it was the turn of General Chi Huangshan, Chi Zhoufan and Guang Zhou, Shu En rebelled and tried to stop Jie Hung.

“Bokah! You don't fight! Are you tired of living huh?!” Jie Hung slammed Shu En's body into the ground violently and made the boy bleed profusely from inside his mouth.

Shu En with a weakened look in his eyes saw Wang Zhi was about to behead General Chi Huangshan, involuntarily Shu En shouted out very loudly.

“I'll kill you!”

Wusha!!!

A gust of wind blew away Wang Zhi's body as well as Jie Hung's. This strange phenomenon occurred for a few seconds before a terrifying spiritual energy shot out from Shu En's body.

“What happened?!” Wang Zhi became wary because for a moment he felt his body being gripped by something.

Meanwhile Jie Hung watched Shu En who was thrashing on the ground and slowly the boy rose to his feet filled with a pitch-black aura.

“What is all this garbage boy doing?!” Jie Hung wondered.

Without Shu En realizing it, his body was now filled with a pitch-black aura. That pitch-black aura flared up and formed a robe that wrapped around his body.

After a while the pitch-black aura disappeared and changed with a portal that moved Jie Hung's body along with his troops.

“What happened to my body?” Shu En muttered and felt a strangeness happening to his body.

The deg!!!

But suddenly his heart ached and Shu En saw a red sun sign on his chest.

The seal formed by the late Shu En's parents came apart and now the boy was filled with an extremely dense Qi. Even the dense aroma attracted the attention of a figure from another world and invited Shu En to enter it.

“Man's son! You finally woke up too! Save me and you'll get everything!”

A voice echoed in Shu En's ear along with a white circle with an ancient script surrounding his body.

Shu En was still in a state of confusion and turned his attention to look at Chi Zhoufan, General Chi Huangshan and the unconscious Guang Zhou.

But before Shu En saved the three, his body vanished into the mysterious white-colored circle. The existence of Shu En back then had completely vanished from this world.

When Chi Zhoufan, General Chi Huangshan and Guang Zhou woke up, the three of them were shocked to see Jie Hung and his alliance were gone. The three manage to survive and try to find Shu En's whereabouts but the boy is nowhere to be found.
