Right now Shu En consciousness is in the world of his deepest subconscious. There he found himself in his small figure of about six years old playing with Dong Wenli chasing a white dove.
Slowly the image of him burned and turned to ashes. Shu En soon saw a man standing with a sword and gazing at the sea of fire that burned the capital of Shuyang ten years ago.
Shu En approached the old man and greeted him.
“Grandfather, what are you doing here?” tanyakanya.
The old man looked at the boy beside him and sheathed slowly.
“Are you surnamed Ling, boy? You managed to find myself in this subconscious. Looks like you are my descendant.” said the old man then smiled warmly while stroking Shu En's head gently.
“No, grandpa. I'm surnamed Shu and my late mother is the one with the Ling.” clan Shu En explained.
“Hmm... So like that yeah.” The old man stroked his beard and watched Shu En's face closely.
“So what brings you here? You have no reason to meet me?” The old man asked about Shu En's purpose which was in his subconscious.
“Grandfather, actually I don't understand why I got here. As I recall, I was devouring an ancient seal.”.
Shu En also told me about himself before he ended up in this place. Hearing Shu En's story made the old man laugh out loud. He had never expected that anyone would dare to absorb spiritual energy and intend to make his own strength.
Shu En also told more about himself to the old man, as well as the old man who told himself as Ling En.
“You're looking for the whereabouts of the three of them huh? I can guess where they are.” Ling En looked at the enthusiastic Shu En after hearing this remark.
“Grandfather Ling can tell you where the three of them are? I want to save them!” shu En said enthusiastically.
“Natural Demon. I think there's two conditions they're going to do. Waiting for an entire year to suck their souls and make the three women or as a collision to release the seal of the Three Devils of Catastrophe.”
Ling En told while stroking his beard, then invited Shu En to move to a hill around which was filled with snowy land.
“Formerly this place was where my sister and I practiced. Seeing this makes me very nostalgic.” Ling En smiled with memories as he stared at the snowy land below.
Then Ling En showed Shu En a picture of the life of the Ling Clan hundreds of years ago. At first Shu En saw how Ling En and Ling Chen had journeyed to become the greatest cultivators of his time, to the point where Ling Chen was dissatisfied by the appearance of a figure surpassing that of a human.
“God Nature and Demon Realm. As powerful as humans, we can never defeat them. Me and my brother Chen Wander together and train to become the strongest cultivators of the time.” Both of Ling En's eyes turned heartbroken as he recalled his memories with Ling Chen.
“Enter, you must know this, not all Gods and Demons are the same. Gods are also good and evil as well as Devils and humans.” Ling En reminded Shu En of this before telling him about how Ling Chen's attitude changed and the birth of the Immortal Race.
“My journey and my sister's journey as a great cultivator stops when my sister meets a God.”.
Ling En seemed to change his expression as he said this. Shu En who saw it also gulped because he would hear the true story from the past.
“All this is the beginning of everything. Where the Era of Chaos was close to taking place and wiping out half of the God Realm and the Demon Realm. Because of this even the Immortal Race born with my sister was the first to approach immortality.”
Ling En began to tell Shu En about his and Ling Chen's fight against the several Gods before the two of them met the figure of the Heavenly Chaos God. That was the beginning of it all and caused Ling Chen's ambitious change to become the strongest in order to remove the sense of contempt for Devils and Gods.
