After confirming that Hong Zi Ran was in a safe place, Shu En intended to return to the Yang Empire to ascertain the truth of Xing Rou's remarks.

Xing Rou predicted that if she chose to go to Zhang Empire, then she would lose someone important to her.

Before the sun rose, Shu En used the Night God Teleportation to return to the Yang Empire. The quick teleportation ability Shu En used could only be used in nighttime conditions, so he could not use it rashly.

‘I have to hide my identity from Auntie Hong and everything. They should not know it..’ Shu En said inwardly after returning to the Yang Empire.

The cold air that filled the Xudong plains made the atmosphere feel tense as a large army of two thousand cultivators filled the plains.

Commander Fujun, known for his atrocities during the war, led a large army from the Tang Empire. With two generals named Song Guan and Lu Xuhen who will help him, Commander Fujun gave a warning to the Yang Empire to immediately submit to the Tang Empire if Yang Ruan's life is saved.

Not without reason Commander Fujun gave the warning. Thanks to Gao Lu Ma's plan, the Tang Empire finally managed to hold Yang Ruan hostage who camped around Xudong.

Instead of being affected by Commander Fujun's warning, Tang Xia replied with a sign of the start of the war.

But on one side Tang Xia realized how dangerous Yang Ruan's safety was. Without restraint, Tang Xia had already chased after the figure of Gao Lu Ma holding Yang Ruan hostage.

The tactics used by Gao Lu Ma proved successful as it brought the figure of the strongest person on the side of the besieged Yang Empire within the battle formation.

“You!” Tang Xia cursed and restrained himself for Yang Ruan's safety.

“You have dangerous abilities! That's how I felt when I first saw you!” gao Lu Ma said and gave orders to Tang Xia to get down from up there.

Tang Xia followed Gao Lu Ma's direction and flew low before he finally surrounded a thousand Tang Empire cultivators.

“So come to this, I will release this weak girl if you keep quiet watching the fight for an hour. After an hour I will release this weak girl and fight against you.” Gao Lu Ma made an offer and Tang Xia accepted it.

“Alright, I accept your offer it.”

Tang Xia's reaction actually made Gao Lu Ma become wary. This made Gao Lu Ma again torture Yang Ruan before Tang Xia to show who was intimidated between the two of them.

Seeing Yang Ruan slapped her face and kicked her body made Tang Xia angry. Yet Tang Xia realized he could not act rashly.

As he was caught in this unfortunate situation, the Yang Empire's army was overwhelmed by the Tang Empire's forces.

‘You're going to die stupid girl!’ Gao Lu Ma sat down before asking Tang Xia to give him his sword.

“Give me your sword!” gao Lu Ma said to Tang Xia.

Knowing this Tang Xia smiled faintly and directly used the ability to neutralize any kind of Qi belonging to the Demon King Huifen that he killed.

By pouring Qi into his sword, Tang Xia gave his sword to Gao Lu Ma. The next thing that happened was the retaliation that Tang Xia was going to do to Gao Lu Ma who had tortured Yang Ruan.
