ARC 1 - Fall to Rise

In a forest in the Yang Empire was seen a group of horse carriages that were intercepted by hundreds of cultivators. The soldier escorting the horse-drawn carriage responded to the restrictions of hundreds of cultivators with a warning.

However, hundreds of cultivators in his group's name as the Seven Colors Pagoda slaughtered the soldiers. Not stopping there, the Seven Colors Pagoda also killed the man in the horse carriage who was the ruler of the Yang Empire.

“Brother Mo, all according to plan. Capture the empress and our mission is complete.” One of the attackers said after killing Emperor Yang.

“This incident will surely electrify the Yang Empire. This was the result of this fool's refusal to become part of the Tang Empire.” The other attacker.

“I'll catch the Princess who escaped with her two bodyguards, you enjoy your part.” The attacker named Heng Long smiled widely before moving at high speed towards the south.

While the assailant named Mo Shang destroyed the remaining horse carriage and directly captured the empress. But before Mo Shang carried out his evil act, the empress stabbed through Mo Shang's thigh using a knife before the blade was used to end his life.

“Keparat! This fucking woman!” Mo Shang looked furious.

Behind Mo Shang, it was seen that the members of the Seven Colors Pagoda were holding back laughter because Mo Shang failed to launch his action.

Knowing he would be laughed at, Mo Shang vented his anger by killing some of his subordinates.

“What will you laugh at?! Follow Brother Heng or you choose to end like this!”

Meanwhile, in the southern forest, a frightened girl is seen and guarded by two battered young men. With great difficulty, the two young men resisted Heng Long's attacks toying with them.

“On behalf of the Liu family, I will sacrifice my life for the Princess!” The young man named Liu Bai who was already on the verge of limits and his cultivation was at the stage of the Sacred Realm said.

“Brother Xu, take the Princess away!”

Liu Bai had intended to sacrifice himself, but before Liu Bai unleashed his final attack, Heng Long had already held his right hand and broke it.

“Argh!”

“Hahahahah! Intending to escape from me? Not that easy!” Heng Long kicked Liu Bai in the face and made it even messier.

After saying that, Heng Long intended to kill Liu Bai but Xu Kai protected Liu Bai and got his stomach hit by a fatal blow.

The lightning-coated punch broke Xu Kai's ribcage and made it difficult to breathe. Xu Kai groaned on the ground and was already at his limit, whereas Liu Bai was no less painful.

“Stop... Please stop..”.

Heng Long looked at the crying girl and tried to protect her two bodyguards, making Heng Long smile.

“Alright, Princess. I'll stop attacking them if you follow.”

Heng Long released the pressure of intimidation and was intent on playing Princess Yang, but as Heng Long stepped his foot toward Princess Yang, a portal appeared above him.

“Solid spiritual energy! What is it?!” Heng Long instantly kept his distance and turned his gaze to look at Princess Yang.

“Do you do it?!”

Princess Yang shook her head.

“Not! I'm not the one doing it! Hiks!”

Heng Long clicked his tongue and stared at the portal closely. From within the portal were two shadows of a person slowly being seen.

“Who are they?!”

Heng Long grew even more vigilant thus creating ten lightning spears that instantly aimed at the two people.

“It looks like we're stranded in a foreign place Brother Xia..”.

“There's a welcome both of us.”

“We observe the situation first Brother Shu.”

“Alright, Sister Xia.”

Hearing the two people who came out of the portal conversing, Heng Long released an incredible killing intent. But a minute later, Heng Long's body suddenly went limp and could not be moved as Tang Xia did the same.

“A terrible killing.” Tang Xia headed towards Heng Long.

‘Who is he? This girl had the same killing intent as Emperor Tang.’ Heng Long gulped as in his heart thought so.

“Are there any last words you want to say?” Tang Xia took out a sword that had a black dragon complexion.

Heng Long's mouth opened trying to say something, but it was all stuck in his throat. A second later his head was already separated from his body and Tang Xia mercilessly cut Heng Long's body into two pieces.

“You have your blood on this mask.” Tang Xia lamented as he tried to take the white devil mask inside Heng Long's robe.

“No problem. It's time to start the show, Brother Shu,” Tang Xia said while wearing the mask.

Shu En smiled and walked over to Princess Yang.

“Young Master, do I need to kill this girl?” ask Tang Xia.

The Princess Yang's eyes immediately widened in fear.

“No need, Xia!” Shu En looked at Princess Yang sharply before he closed his eyes.

‘Not having the strength to fight is an misfortune in this world! Seeing it was like seeing myself in the past!’ Shu En bathed and clenched his hands tightly.

“It looks like we have a more festive guest, Xia. Catch one and the rest finish! I want to pry information on one of them!” shu En.

“Tch!”

“Why do you look upset?”

“No, Young Master. I just feel so excited after so long not sharpening this sword with blood.”

A short while later Mo Shang came with the members of the Seven Colors Pagoda and surrounded Tang Xia.

“What did you guys kill Brother Heng?!”

Mo Shang released a deadly killing intent. The area around Mo Shang was filled with flames before the man released his anger at Tang Xia.

“Seven Color Pagoda? Hmmmm... Unexpectedly, you guys will be moving this fast.” Tang Xia stared at an emblem on Mo Shang's robe and moved in welcome attack.

Furthermore, the exchange of attacks between Tang Xia and Mo Shang was fierce. Unlike Mo Shang who used his full ability, Tang Xia only served Mo Shang casually before Mo Shang finally ran out of energy and was cruelly tortured by Tang Xia.

“We start from where..” Tang Xia took out a small knife and attached it to Mo Shang's cheeks, neck and stomach.

Seeing this action Shu En sighed lightly and directly asked Princess Yang to close his eyes. Without rebutting, Princess Yang closed her eyes and covered her ears, yet still she heard Mo Shangs heartbreaking screams of pain.

Meanwhile Shu En stood near Tang Xia listening to Mo Shang informing the Seven Colors Pagoda of the purpose of this attack, before Tang Xia finally killed Mo Shang after getting the information they wanted.

“Good work Big Brother Xia,” said Shu En made Tang Xia smile coldly from behind the mask.

“By the way Brother Shu, you played your role very well.”

“Yes, this is just the beginning, but I did not expect to be dealing with the imperial family.”

Shu En glanced at Princess Yang before asking the girl for an excuse.
