ARC 1 - Fall to Rise

Shu En travels to the Eternal Flame Hill, where he meets a Great Demon who is none other than a Phoenix bird.

As Shu En tried to get closer the surrounding land froze and the intense pressure of spiritual energy made him stop walking closer. Shu En stared at the Ice Phoenix awaiting his presence and gave off a hostile air.

“What is your business coming here, humans are not?!”

Shu En did not reply but instead showed a stone to the Ice Phoenix and made the figure shocked.

“Huifen?”

The Ice Phoenix poured its spiritual energy into the stone, before long it emitted a white light and made the Ice Phoenix go silent for a very long time.

“Huifen asked me to give this stone to this damned bird. So you're the fucking bird? Then I will return,” Shu En said.

The Ice Phoenix stared at Shu En's back and stopped the young man's intention to return to Huifen.

“Huifen is dead... It seems like what Zhuan was worried about really happened.”

“What do you mean?”

Shu En turned to look at the Ice Phoenix very sharply. Finally this Ice Phoenix named Feifei told Shu En about someone being summoned to the Demon World by the Demon Emperor.

That person called Demon Emperor had killed many Upper Demons and Great Demons. The unique ability of the person can make him stronger if he kills demons, ferocious beasts or cultivators who have spiritual energy.

Not long after that person will come to the Eternal Fire Hill with the Demon Emperor, so Huifen intends to head them off and take Shu En away to the human world.

Hearing that Shu En's heart stopped beating. Shu En felt the pain running through his head getting worse. He could not control the emotions in himself and returned to calm after being consumed by anger and hatred.

“The Demon Emperor intends to make all the inhabitants of the Demon World become his pawns including the Demon God Shen Long.” Phoenix Ice Feifei told.

“Bokah, I'll take you to the human world. It was Huifen's last request and I want to honor her”

“You don't have to do that! I'll solve my own problems!”

Shu En stepped back and just as the Ice Phoenix was about to head off, Shu En unleashed a terrifying pitch-black aura that left the ground around him shattered. That terrifying pressure made the Ice Phoenix unable to move its body.

Even any gusts of wind that froze and was about to stop Shu En's movements would crumble before it touched his body.

“What?! Wait kid?!”

The Ice Phoenix was startled when it saw Shu En had already run and disappeared from its sight.

“Luifeng fucking it! Was he thinking of waking up the Demon God?! We'll all die if the catastrophe awakens!”

Meanwhile, somewhere Huifen was fighting against Luifeng. The two exchanged attacks using their beloved weapon.

Huifen used a mace that fed large amounts of Qi, Luifeng used two large swords in red and blue. The clash of the two weapons made a huge shockwave and destroyed anything and everything around them.

“Stop your stupid ambition, Luifeng! Did you forget what would happen if the Dragon woke up?! He'll kill all the demons here!” huifen said when he managed to land a punch of mace on Luifeng's stomach.

The wide gaping wound on Luifeng's stomach slowly healed, while one of the demons that came with Luifeng shouted before his stealth core shattered.

“Your ability still looks so disgusting!”

After that the two again made a fierce exchange of attacks before a terrifying aura stopped Huifen's movements.

“That ability of yours interested me in taking it, Demon King Huifen..”.

A woman stands beside Huifen and holds the feet of the Demon King.

“Nafas Night..”

The girl took a quiet breath and unleashed an attack that left Huifen's right leg shattered.

“Tapak Dewi Devil!”

“Argh! You!” Huifen was surprised to see the girl using the same power as Shu En.

“Defender Demon Goddess's Delusion? But why-”

“I'll kill you here! And I will take all your spiritual energy power for my ambition!”

The girl looked coldly at Huifen and displayed a terrifying strength.

“Spirit Devil - Ruyue!”

“Time of massacre! Kill everything around me!”

Huifen's eyes widened as she looked at the shadow of a white-haired woman holding a sword behind Huifen. The demon spirit attacked Huifen with a brutal sword slash.

Huifen can neutralize the attack but the girl's abilities far exceed her estimates. In just a matter of seconds Huifen's hands were cut off and just as the girl was about to chop off her head, there stood Shu En who was sculpting in disbelief.

“Are there any last words you want to say?”

Huifen looked at the girl and smiled.

“Man, if by killing all the demons can make yourself strong... Do you think you can defeat the Demon God?”

“You're too naive! The balance of the world will be chaotic and you have brought calamity to the world of man -”

Huifen's head was cut off before finishing her speech.

“I don't care about any of it! That day I lost everything and I don't care about anything else!”

Just as the girl was about to sheathe her sword, an attack came from the front but Luifeng stopped quickly.

BOOM!!!

“Human boy?!” Luifeng was surprised.
