ARC 2 - Blue Moon War

On the way to the Thousand Ice Mountain Range, Shu En and Lu Shin Rui did not get any significant obstacles until the two reached an uninhabited old town.

Because of this trip Shu En's closeness with Lu Shin Rui was also intertwined. Shu En saw Lu Shin Rui reminding him of Hong Zi Ran's figure so the young man opened up a little to the woman.

Lu Shin Rui himself looked at Shu En as a young child and a little sister. Behind his nature, Lu Shin Rui is interested in the actions of Shu En in the present or the future.

After explaining to Shu En the route they had taken, Lu Shin Rui chose to observe the state of a city that received the designation Uninhabited City from a distance.

Shu En did not refute and followed Lu Shin Rui's direction. By sharpening his sense of sight and hearing, Shu En observed the Uninhabited City from a distance.

“As I heard, the city is inhabited by hundreds of Vast Animals. Everything happened not long ago and how many months ago.” Lu Shin Rui said.

“So according to Aunt Lu there is someone who controls hordes of wild animals?” Shu En assumed and Lu Shin Rui also had a thought.

“I think so. The route to the Thousand Ice Mountain was extremely difficult. I'll dig up more information about this.”

Finally that night Shu En and Lu Shin Rui decided to spend the night around the Uninhabited City. Shu En notices Lu Shin Rui surrounded by birds and some wild cats.

As if he was talking to animals, Lu Shin Rui sometimes chuckled to himself and smiled sweetly at the spoiled stray cat to him.

‘This ability is very useful. Like a double-edged sword, sooner or later many people are eyeing it.’ Shu En sat down and continued to pay attention to Lu Shin Rui until he finally decided to look after Lu Shin Rui with his own hands.

‘It seems I have no other choice..’ Shu En smiled to himself before being reprimanded by Lu Shin Rui.

“E! Are you laughing at yourself like this?” lu Shin Rui said and made Shu En surprised.

“Ah, no Aunt Lu. I'm just amazed to see you able to talk to the animals.” Shu En reasoned.

“Hmmm..” Lu Shin Rui muttered to himself before telling Shu En if he had any useful information.

Lu Shin Rui explained that all the Vast Beasts inhabiting the Uninhabited City were the actions of a foreign cultivator. The past few months there had been three cultivators intending to persuade the Thousand Ice Mountains to cooperate.

Hearing this Shu En held his chin. Shu En thought that the Thousand Ice Mountains held a million secrets that fished cultivators from the Tang Empire.

“The Azure Dragon Jade and the Sky Demon Jade. What place does that store these two sacred treasures?” Shu En thought hard before he finally looked at Lu Shin Rui and asked the woman to do something.

Shu En asked Lu Shin Rui to search for the truth about the Azure Dragon Jade and the Sky Demon Jade. It didn't take long for Lu Shin Rui to give an answer to Shu En.

As Lu Shin Rui asked these to the animals he summoned, they all looked terrified and told Lu Shin Rui that all the sacred treasures in the world would be the source of calamity.

Hearing this explanation Lu Shin Rui and Shu En fell silent for quite a long time. Shu En himself realizes that the existence of the sacred treasure has claimed the lives of his parents in the past.

“Actually what is their purpose? It looks like they're after something really big. Not a throne or any form of wealth, but an ability like immortality.” Shu En assumed as he looked at Lu Shin Rui.

“All that could have happened. I'll find out more about this, En. I'll do what I can to help you.” Lu Shin Rui looked at Shu En with confidence.

Finally that night the two sensed there was an unnatural movement of the horde of Vast Beasts inhabiting the Uninhabited City.

The hordes of Beasts were like they were gathering at one point before moving out of the city and towards the countryside.

“Did you find the person who controls this, En.” ask Lu Shin Rui.

“No, I didn't find it.” Shu En answered.

“We'd better prevent that horde of Beast from invading the countryside, Aunt Lu.”

Shu En also invited Lu Shin Rui to make a move to the Uninhabited City. What the two of them found there was something shocking because after the two set foot there, a huge aura in the Unoccupied City instantly appeared and left the two of them trapped inside.

A dome began to surround the Uninhabited City and made Shu En instantly destroy the dome. But when the dome was destroyed, suddenly what was around the two of them immediately flew.

“The building is floating?!” Lu Shin Rui was surprised to see several buildings and ruins suddenly flying above the sky.

“People who control this, I can feel its aura.” Shu En finally sensed the air of one's existence after sensing an extremely foreign aura.

Shu En and Lu Shin Rui's journey is interrupted by the actions of an unknown cultivator.
