L.O.S.E 3 - Paralyzed Cultivator
ARC 1 - Fall to Rise
Listening directly from Shu En about the heartbreaking incident made Zhang Xue and Hong Zi Ran's blood rustle. The situation in the Blue Moon Continent was certainly out of control after the Shu Empire and Tang Empire cooperated.
But from the story that Shu En told, Hong Zi Ran felt that there was a hidden intent from Emperor Tang chasing after Ling Shui.
‘Do they know the sacred techniques of the Moon Palace?’ inner Hong Zi Ran wondered before his eyes looked at Zhang Xue.
“Sister Zi Ran, do we have to see Elder?”
“Yes, I think we need to see him. But I think he would be angry if he heard this.”
Finally Zhang Xue and Hong Zi Ran planned their trip to the hideout of the Moon Palace, a sect inhabited by women and abandoned by Ling Shui.
Meanwhile time continued to pass and Shu En had already adapted well to the Zhang Empire. Shu En was very familiar with Zhang Xue whom he considered his older brother as well as Hong Zi Ran who played his foster mother.
“Enter, are you interested in becoming a cultivator?” zhang Xue asked as she found out that Shu En was watching herself practicing archery.
“Cultivator? I'm interested in that but I..” Shu En did not continue his words because he was aware of the condition of his body.
Zhang Xue smiled wryly because after checking Shu En's body condition, it turned out that the poor boy had paralysis at his meridian points.
‘With the technique from the Moon Palace, he could become a cultivator yet it was very forbidden.’ Zhang Xue nodded and walked over to Shu En.
“Sister Zhang, I want to be a strong man and be able to protect my precious person! I don't want to lose anyone again!” shu En Jerk.
“En?”
“But why are the gods cruel to me?! I lost my place to go home! And I lost my chance to become a cultivator!”
Seeing Shu En open like this made Zhang Xue hug the boy and stroke his head. Shu En still felt desperate and had not been spared from the grievous incident, even the strong feeling of vengeance made him even more desperate because the reality of slapping him without compassion.
At that moment Shu En could only cry in Zhang Xue's arms because he realized how weak he was. As usual those peaceful days Shu En passed by training with Zhang Xue.
Shu En's physical abilities were arguably strong for a child his age, but the world of cultivators was a cruel world. A strong physique alone would not make him survive if his cultivation was weak.
Eventually rumors about Empress Zhang's weak foster sister spread across the Zhang Empire. But it did not make Shu En desperate, it was during the three years that Shu En was increasingly active in training under the tutelage of Zhang Xue, Hong Zi Ran and General Chi Huangshan.
Until one day Zhang Xue and Hong Zi Ran talked about the training Shu En would be doing in the future. Recommendation from General Chi Huangshan, the Sacred Sun Sect is ready to accommodate Shu En as a disciple there.
“Enter, if you don't want to, you can reject it,” Hong Zi Ran said gently, “There are still many ways to survive other than to become a cultivator.”
“Thanks, Aunt Hong. But I have already decided to go to the Sacred Sun Sect.”
Seeing Shu En who was growing up made Hong Zi Ran not willing to let go. Three years ago Shu En always whined and cried, but now the boy was ten years old and so obsessed with becoming a cultivator.
“You are aware of your body condition is not it? Your meridian points are crippled and sealed. These three years we both tried to find great cultivators in this Empire but all of them were unable to cure you. So please don't worry me, Ener.”
“Aibi Hong..”
As Hong Zi Ran was like this Zhang Xue held onto his shoulder and reprimanded him.
“Say Brother Zi Ran doesn't want En.o.der to go, does he? Basic can't be honest.”
“But you are the same as me, right Xuexue?!”
“Hah?! N-no! It is precisely I am moved and proud to see Ender!”
Shu En smiled knowing that Zhang Xue and Hong Zi Ran were worried about him. When he lost everything, this is where he found a place to go home.
“Sister Zhang, Auntie Hong, when I return, I will become a great cultivator.” Shu En extended his little finger at Zhang Xue and Hong Zi Ran with a smile.
“I promise!”
Zhang Xue and Hong Zi Ran smiled and said, “We will wait for you, En.”
After that General Chi Huangshan came with a bodyguard and five horse carriages.
“Enter, have you prepared everything?” ask General Chi Huangshan.
“Already General Chi!”
Shu En nodded his head and looked at General Chi Huangshan who was greeting and saluting Zhang Xue. Then Shu En walked into the horse carriage and waved his hand as the horse carriage walked away from Zhang Palace.
“Enter, next month we will visit!” hong Zi Ran shouted as the horse carriage got further away.
Shu En smiled and continued to wave his hand then said softly, “I will wait..”.
After Shu En's departure, Zhang Xue looked at General Chi Huangshan sharply as well as Hong Zi Ran.
“General Chi! Is everything here?!”
“They've all come, Her Majesty the Queen!”
“Alright, let's start the meeting!”
Without Shu En knowing, the Zhang Empire was currently experiencing a situation that was not conducive because some of their territory was controlled by the Jia Empire.
“So the rumor was true if the Wei Empire of the Green Leaf Continent helped them?” zhang Xue asked General Chi Huangshan.
“Yes, Her Majesty The Queen. For more details, you can hear in.”
The door of the meeting room between Imperial General Zhang and the Patriarch Sect of the black and white flow that existed in the Zhang Empire was opened. There were seen a number of important figures of the Zhang Empire realm cultivators who would hold a meeting to further discuss the actions of the Jia Empire that was blatantly attacking the territory of the Zhang Empire.
