What happened on the Lightning Hill made Shu En become wary. After seeing Cheng Bai's memories, Shu En felt fear for the first time.

Fear was not because he was afraid of Long Wang but because he was afraid that Long Wang would kill people he knew.

After proceeding to the top of Lightning Hill, Shu En informed Cao Jin of Wu Tian's whereabouts. The situation on Lightning Hill itself became chaotic after Cheng Bai died in Shu En's hands.

The existence of Cao Jin who tried to calm them all also had no impact. The surrounding hundreds of Lightning Hill cultivators who were forced to serve Cheng Bai were actually happy over the death of their Patriarch, instead, while the former members of the Black Dragon Road tried to attack Shu En but they were all killed viciously.

Shu En did not give any mercy to anyone who tried to kill him. In just a short period of time the situation on Lightning Hill became calm again and that calmness was due to the intimidation of Shu En who had managed to kill many Lightning Hill cultivators along with Patriarch Cheng Bai.

While Cao Jin freed some of the imprisoned Elders of Lightning Hill and Wu Tian, Shu En and Lu Shin Rui walked around the top of Lightning Hill to see for themselves the legendary place that was supposedly used for cultivation.

But when Shu En got there, she showed a disappointed expression as well as Lu Shin Rui. That sacred place changed since Cheng Bai became the leader and took over everything.

The place has really been tainted. The Lightning Pool at the top of Lightning Hill was inside a magnificent building used by Cheng Bai to combine love with women.

“I'm still not relieved after killing him!” shu En said as he tried to enter the building.

The situation inside the building seemed deserted and there was no one, Lu Shin Rui followed behind him. Until finally they both saw the legendary Lightning Pool. The spiritual energy within the Lightning Pool made Shu En smile.

But the view of a large and thick bed around the Lightning Pool is very disturbing. Shu En let out a long sigh before smashing all the beds into pieces of ash with Phoenix flames.

Shu En walked out of the building with Lu Shin Rui. The two were greeted by Cao Jin who came with Wu Tian.

Not just Wu Tian alone, but rather hundreds of Lightning Hill cultivators followed Cao Jin from behind. They all asked Shu En to be willing to become the Lightning Hill Patriarch for killing Cheng Bai.

“How is Young Master? They all want you to be the next Patriarch of Lightning Hill.” Cao Jin told me.

Shu En did not immediately reply and looked at Wu Tian. Wu Tian's expression did not show any passion for life, the old man looked extremely desperate.

“I don't have the right to be the Patriarch of Lightning Hill! I think you have a real leader!” shu En said to all of them.

Cao Jin walked up to Shu En and told him about what had befallen Wu Tian from the Lightning Hill cultivator.

Wu Tian's daughter reportedly committed suicide a few months ago after being unable to become Cheng Bai's bed slave. Even according to the Elders of Lightning Hill, Wu Tian no longer had the desire to avenge himself or live a life.

“Are you sure you'll let all this happen again?”

Everyone who saw this was puzzled because Shu En looked like a young boy who was taking the old man to fight.

“Stop being a loser and lament fate! Take this sword and fight with me!”

Wu Tian who had initially always lowered his head finally looked at Shu En. Wu Tian looked at the sword in front of him and recalled all the cruelty of the cultivator world he had experienced up to this second.

“I can't fight anymore.”.

Wu Tian's feeble voice rang out, Shu En clucked in annoyance as Wu Tian actually displayed a despair that fed him.

The reason Shu En acted was because he was afraid that he would end up like Wu Tian. Of course he would not let Wu Tian end up more miserable than this.

“Take this! If you lose, then I will be willing to become the Lightning Hill Patriarch on the condition that you must become an Elder for me!” Shu En also created another sword after saying so.

“You will all be witnesses of the fight on this hilltop!” shu En said to all the Lightning Hill cultivators who saw this.

Whether because of the sudden feeling of being humiliated or underestimated by the sixteen-year-old youngster, Wu Tian took the sword Shu En gave him and grasped it tightly.

“Looks like you were ready and made a decision.” Shu En observed Wu Tian's actions and uttered a positive remark.

“Don't be arrogant young man! You may have saved this stained hill! But I cannot let this hill fall again to the wrong people!”

Everyone who saw this incident looked happy especially the residents of Lightning Hill. Among the crowd of people watching Shu En's fight against Wu Tian, there was a woman in her twenty-fives and shed her tears.

“Dad! Don't lose!”

Wu Tian's body trembled violently upon hearing a familiar voice. Soon he turned his head and swept his gaze toward everyone watching, where he found a woman wearing a face mask and a hood.

Instantly all of Wu Tian's dead emotions began to come back to life. Knowing this Shu En could only smile and not expect with everything that happened.

“Sounds like this is going to be hard. I won't hold back because this is risking my pride as a man.”

The fight began. That night Lightning Hill rewrote their history as the two swords touched each other. This battle that risked self-esteem as a man would change a cruel future.
