L.O.S.E 52 - Demon Bat Poison

...L.O.S.E 52 - Demon Bat Poison...

When Shu En's eyes opened, he found himself in a vast expanse of grasslands. This place was no stranger because Shu En had accidentally teleported to the Zhang Empire.

“I survived death. At the last moment, I was still thinking about this place. Very many regrets here.” Shu En smiled wryly as he laid his body enjoying the cool of the wind.

Without Shu En knowing the situation in the Zhang Empire was now in turmoil. After seeing for yourself how the massacre that was committed against Jie Hung, Wang Zhi and the Black Scorpion members, the Jia Emperor decided to take over the throne of the Zhang Empire.

However the plan was foiled by Zhang Xue along with the cultivators from the Moon Palace. By taking over the throne that should have been his, Zhang Xue reshaped the new government.

However the remains of the cultivators of the Thousand Sword Sect and the Jie Hung residents were still scattered absorbed by the territory of the Zhang Empire. This utilized the Jia Emperor to create the same rebellion as six years ago.

When Shu En was enjoying the cool breeze, he dissolved in comfort and made his eyes closed for a moment.

Faintly Shu En heard the approaching footsteps. The sound of a smooth and friendly step made Shu En not worry and even closed his eyes longer until he almost fell asleep.

“E..”.

A familiar voice pierced through his ears and made Shu En's eyes open slowly. Shu En's heart was racing from knowing the voice, he immediately got up and turned his head back.

Shu En found a graceful looking adult female figure standing before him. He was Hong Zi Ran who every morning and evening always visited this place because he hoped to meet the figure of the young man wearing a black demon mask.

“You... Shu En isn't it?” Hong Zi Ran asked to be sure.

Shu En intended to hide his identity, but he was unable to give an answer because he felt so sinful to Hong Zi Ran.

Remembering the suffering that Hong Zi Ran was going through made Shu En feel even more guilty. It was this reason that kept Shu En away and he realized that he could not be like this and had to explain everything to Hong Zi Ran.

But as his mouth moved about to explain, Shu En hid everything and went away.

“Sorry Madam, I'm not referring to the person you mean..”

After saying so Shu En's body disappeared from Hong Zi Ran's sight. The woman felt certain that the young man she had just seen was Shu En. Realizing that Shu En was moving away from him, Hong Zi Ran hoped that the young man would explain everything.

“Seeing you're alive is enough for me, Ender. I'm glad you're okay and growing into a healthy man.” Hong Zi Ran said that gently before returning to Jiehan City.

Shu En, who was hiding behind a tree and hiding her presence, was touched by Hong Zi Ran's words.

“I can't constantly escape!” Shu En slapped his cheek hard enough before taking out the black devil mask and putting it on.

“For these few days I will move by myself. In the morning I will be here and in the evening I will return to Yang.” Empire Shu En decided on his next destination and headed straight for Jiehan Capital.

Shu En intends to infiltrate Jiehan City to observe the situation after he slaughtered Jie Hung with all his servants.

Before entering Jiehan City, Shu En eliminated his presence quickly, but moments later he sensed an approaching presence.

“I'm in the corner of town and there are still people who realize it? Bother!” Shu En jumped on top of the building and observed the approaching figure.

Seeing that figure, Shu En also recalled the two women he saved back then namely Chu Yui and Su Rong. Shu En also observes the figure of Su Rong combing every corner of the city looking for her whereabouts.

“It is not wrong that he is a masked man of black demons! I lost track of him!” It seemed that Su Rong was complaining and sighing long.

“Rongrong, did you find it?” shouted the woman who ran towards Su Rong. He was Chu Yui, the figure who served the Moon Palace Matriarch in the present.

Su Rong shook her head and gave an answer, “I lost track of her, Yui.”

Then Chu Yui turned her head up and for a moment she saw a shadow of someone. Shaken Shu En also retreated his footsteps and accidentally stepped on a wooden branch until it broke.

“He's here, Rongrong!” said Chu Yui to tell.

“Ah, really?” Su Rong followed Chu Yui and jumped up.

Shu En swore inwardly, ‘What did the two of them think by looking for me?!’

“We are watching Ranran, I mean the woman named Hong Zi Ran and accidentally saw you, the masked man of the black devil.” Chu Yui smiled and approached Shu En without showing any fear.

“I want to ask for your help.” Chu Yui extended her hand to Shu En.

Shu En observed Chu Yui and turned his face away, “You can ask others for help. Who do you think I am?!”

“I will serve you if you help me! I don't know who else to ask for help but this is regarding the safety of the Moon Palace Elder and Xuexue!” said Chu Yui to tell.

Shu En did not make a sound and was immediately alarmed by Zhang Xue's state.

“From your reaction it seems like you have a relationship with Hong Zi Ran or Zhang Xue right? Tell me who the hell you are?!” Su Rong smiled sweetly as she walked up to Shu En and held onto the mask the young man was wearing.

Shu En also gripped Su Rong's hand and looked into her sharp eyes from behind the mask.

“Who allowed you to touch me?” Sensing Shu En's intimidation, Su Rong kept her distance.

“You said you wanted to serve me, didn't you? That means you're willing to do anything for me if I save that precious person for you.” Shu En smiled from behind his mask and looked at Chu Yui sharply.

“I... I'm willing.” Chu Yui answered with doubt and fear.

“Yui, we misunderstood. I thought she had a relationship with Ranran and Xuexue, but it didn't seem like it at all.” Su Rong observed Shu En for quite a while before drawing a conclusion.

“Not only Yui, but I will also be willing to do anything for you as long as you are willing to help us.” Su Rong offered himself up.

After that Su Rong and Chu Yui looked at each other and smiled. Shu En did not know the meaning of the smile on their faces and intended to take advantage of the situation.

“Alright, I'll help you guys.” Shu En provided help and made the two women smile in relief.

“Explain to me what happened!” shu En said to both of them.

Chu Yui also explained to Shu En regarding the condition of Zhang Xue and the Moon Palace Elder being exposed to the Demon Bat Poison. It has been a week since both were exposed to the poison when the rebellion occurred.

The Demon Bats Poison Potion was only possessed by the Jia Emperor, even Su Rong who was an expert in the field of poison was unable to cure the condition of the two people.

Chu Yui asked Shu En to help the two of them to take the potion in order to cure Zhang Xue and the Moon Palace Elder's condition.

Hearing that, Shu En became worried about Zhang Xue's state. Soon Shu En asked the Jia Emperor whereabouts to the two.

“The Jia Empire forces control the North Wind Fortress. We think Emperor Jia is there.” Chu Yui assumed.

“Default huh? I'll move on my own, you two don't need to interfere!” Shu En confirmed yet Chu Yui and Su Rong insisted on coming along.

“No, we'll both come! We told you not if we were both going to follow you!” Su Rong reminded and made Shu En succumb.

“Do as you like!” Shu En also stared at the grandeur of Jiehan City from a distance while gathering breath to calm his exhausted self,“Don't burden me!”

After that Shu En instantly moved towards the North Wind Fortress at high speed and followed Su Rong and Chu Yui from behind.
