...L.O.S.E 107 - Bing...
Hearing the true story of Ling En left Shu En speechless a thousand languages. He was confused as to what to respond after knowing the truth.
“Grandfather Ling, I..” Shu En wanted to say something but he did not know what to say because he felt like he had just seen Ling En's life in the past.
“I think you are a great person, Grandpa Ling..” Shu En said after learning of Ling En's struggle to resuscitate his younger brother Ling Chen.
Hearing that Ling En smiled wryly and stroked Shu En's hair gently.
“I'm not a great person En... I am a failed man.” Ling En told Shu En.
“I don't think it's like that.” Shu En disagrees if Ling En is the one who failed.
“I failed to become a child because I could not protect my parents, I also failed to be a good man for not being able to protect his wife and I failed to be a good brother for not being able to protect his sister.” Ling En smiled bitterly after saying that and made Shu En speechless.
‘I'm like seeing a very long dream. This feeling of regret and tightness in my heart is probably due to Grandpa Ling's feelings.’ Shu En nodded and looked at Ling En who looked filled with regret.
“Enter, be a useful person and be able to give the lives of those around you. Don't be the same as me, you should be able to protect your family.” Ling En looked at Shu En gently and smiled kindly to Shu En who was back to six years old.
“I've told you the truth. There's not much I can do for you, but I want you to accept this before meeting Lord Jing Yang.” Ling En held Shu En's hand and gave her a milky white pill.
“Drink this and you'll find out more about me. I trust this dream to you.” Ling En again smiled warmly and hugged Shu En tightly.
“Kakek Ling..” Shu En received the milky-white pill and returned Ling En's embrace.
Yet it was not until Shu En's two seconds of hugging Ling En that Ling En's body had already disappeared from before him. Instantly a feeling of loneliness crept into Shu En's body.
“Grandpa! Waitaminute! There are so many things I want to talk to you about!” shu En shouted as he suddenly felt the view around him darken.
When it awakens Shu En is shocked to find himself in a forest of white-clothed sleep. Shu En's face looked pale and his breathing was wheezing after regaining his consciousness.
“Kakek... L'm... I'll protect my family..” Shu En muttered to himself and shed tears for no definite reason.
“You're up.”
There was a cold female voice and Shu En immediately turned his head towards the source of the voice. He found a beautiful girl figure who used a white hood and a face cover. The girl let go of the cold that intimidated Shu En.
“Thank you for saving me..” Shu En wiped his tears and said softly before turning back to lay down his body.
Seeing Shu En's casual action, the girl frowned. He thought Shu En would be intimidated and under his control, but the truth was not so because Shu En was completely unaffected by his intimidation.
‘What the fuck is this guy? I intend to extract information from him but he instead went back to sleep!’ The girl held in shame because of Shu En's attitude.
With her anger, the girl froze Shu En's body and made the young man open his eyes.
“What's up? Did I do something that made you angry?” Shu En frowned as he intended to calm himself for a moment instead being frozen by this girl.
‘Sial, my mood is not good. Somehow there is no passion to do something.’ Shu En sat up and gave no resistance to the girl.
“Listen! I'm threatening you! Tell me who you are!” The girl looked furious and really intended to destroy Shu En's body by freezing her body.
“Remove this ice first. You made my clothes wet.” Shu En instead told the girl and strangely the girl obeyed him.
“Good..”.
Once freed, Shu En tells the girl her name.
“My name is Shu En. I just finished off the fake Emperor and sealed something in the sky of Juesha. The story is long and I suddenly fell down because I was out of steam.” Shu En lazily told the girl.
Seeing the girl's surprised expression, Shu En instead approached the campfire and laid his body nearby.
“Wake me up when the sun will rise,” Shu En told the girl.
“Eh..” The girl was still unable to digest what Shu En had said just now.
“Wait! You're Shu En? Shu En! So you're the one?!” The girl shook Shu En's body but there was no reaction from the young man.
Only a weak and calm breath and facial features that look very tired. Seeing Shu En's face makes the girl stop shaking Shu En's body and choose to sit near him.
“Kakek... Fathering... Older brother... The person whom the Bing Clan had been waiting for was still alive.” The girl shed tears and looked at Shu En with a sad look, “Your deaths are not in vain.”.
