ARC 2 - Blue Moon War

After leaving the Yellow Bamboo Forest, Shu En along with Lu Shin Rui and Cao Jin moved towards Lightning Hill.

On the way Cao Jin explained if the route Shu En took would make him see the other two sects. Formerly the Lightning Hill was a sacred place for cultivators who wanted to forge their bodies and cultivate, but as time went on it had become a different place.

Especially since the man named Cheng Bai took over the leadership of Lightning Hill. In addition to successfully becoming the leader of Lightning Hill, Cheng Bai also had the ambition to master all the resources of the Yellow Bamboo Forest or Weeping Mountain and it was this person who helped the two Black Dragon Path cultivators attack Cao Jin.

“Who was the Patriarch of Lightning Hill before?” Shu En asked Cao Jin.

“He is Senior Wu Tian. A year ago I met him at Weeping Mountain before he finally chose to open an inn on Lightning Hill and live normally.” Cao Jin tells Shu En that Wu Tian's weapon was also taken by Cheng Bai's colleague.

For Wu Tian to lose his weapon was just like losing his dignity as a cultivator. Moreover Wu Tian wanted to make sure Cheng Bai did not touch and make the residents of Lightning Hill difficult.

“I had admired Senior Wu, but all of that disappeared as he preferred to live in peace rather than take back what was rightfully his!” cao Jin said to Shu En.

“If his beloved weapon returns, will he return to be a cultivator?” Shu En thought so and it made Cao Jin like he thought.

“You just thought of a good idea, Young Master. I think we should wake him up.”

After passing through several villages Shu En finally reached the foot of Lightning Hill. There Shu En led Cao Jin to a simple inn around the Lightning Hill that belonged to Wu Tian.

“Air Hill Inn...” Shu En murmured while reading the name of the inn on the wooden board.

“This is Senior Wu's inn. We better stay here while collecting information,” take Cao Jin.

Unlike Cao Jin who directly entered the inn, Shu En confirmed the existence of a cultivator first before inviting Lu Shin Rui in.

“Welcome Sir and Miss.” an innkeeper greeted as Shu En and Lu Shin Rui walked in.

“Nona? Am I that young?” Lu Shin Rui chuckled softly at the reception of the innkeeper.

“Everyone who saw Aunt Lu must have thought so.” Shu En responded with praise and made Lu Shin Rui pinch his arm.

“Enter, never try to tease me!” Lu Shin Rui scolded.

Shu En only laughed softly before finally ordering three different rooms for him and also Lu Shin Rui including Cao Jin, but Cao Jin had already booked a room for the three of them first.

“Young Master, go to the room first, I want to find information at the diner. Usually there are many people who want to provide information for free.” Cao Jin left after saying so.

Shu En walked towards the room with Lu Shin Rui. Shu En's room was at the left end of the inn's hallway while Lu Shin Rui was at the right end of the inn hallway.

Without Shu En knowing the Lightning Hill Inn was an inn created to trap many cultivators especially female cultivators. Neither Shu En nor Cao Jin knew that Wu Tian was confined to the top of Lightning Hill at Cheng Bai's residence.

Within his room Shu En inspected every corner of the room before he finally held onto the walls of the inn and sensed a strange flow of aura.

‘Aura it... Illusion?’ Shu En was startled and immediately exited the room towards Lu Shin Rui's room.

“Aunt Lu!” However after opening the inn room, Shu En did not find Lu Shin Rui anywhere.

“Aunt Lu?” Shu En frowned and was shocked to see all the walls of the inn turning into the flesh of living beings.

“Awild Animals that are at the same level as Demon Gods? Damnit damnit! So this is why I can't detect the aura!” Shu En cursed because of his negligence.

The Beast itself is divided into three levels as well as the Demon. The Beast King, the Beast Emperor and the Beast God were all three levels which referred to how powerful the Beast was.

The God-level Beast that was on the Lightning Hill had the ability to create illusions. Unaware of this, Shu En is caught in a difficult situation, while all the servants of the inn have left, including Lu Shin Rui, who was kidnapped by someone.

“So I'm the next target to kill. Never thought I'd be stuck like this.”.

Shu En also created a sword from the aura of his body, then flowed it with a large amount of Qi. With that sword filled with streams of Qi, Shu En released a single deadly slash.

“Devil Sword Dance!”

The Devil Realm Frog's stomach was split open staring at the two halves. For a moment Shu En could see the vast sky around Lightning Hill, but it was only an instant before he finally found himself back in the stomach of the Frog of the Devil Realm.

“This is so annoying!”

Shu En summoned his demon but it was like there was spiritual energy blocking him from summoning a demon.

“I can't call a demon or teleport. For a strength of this magnitude must have a weakness.” Shu En said while trying to hold the belly flesh of the Frog of the Devil Realm.

After touching it, Shu En felt an unnatural flow of aura and it was like Lu Shin Rui's. After a few seconds Shu En realized that he felt an aura that was not foreign, namely the aura of his own body that felt so calm and warm.

“My body in the real world seems to be asleep! I'm so sure of that!” Again Shu En cursed because he had not found a way to break this illusion.

While Shu En was trapped in the illusion of the Devil Realm Frog, Cao Jin was ambushed by dozens of Lightning Hill cultivators, while Lu Shin Rui fought with the Lightning Hill leader Cheng Bai.

“This inn was destroyed because of our fight. I was ready to prepare a big bed. What if we fight there?” cheng Bai said as he watched the inn disintegrate.

Then Cheng Bai's gaze fell on Shu En who was asleep on the ground. Cheng Bai laughed out loud before gesturing to his subordinates to take Shu En hostage.

“Wi Air, you know what I mean, right? We don't have to fight anymore. Come with me because I have prepared a big bed for both of us.” Cheng Bai chuckled in disdain for Lu Shin Rui who was already not struggling.

“E..” Lu Shin Rui saw two of Cheng Bai's subordinates stabbing at Shu En's sleeping belly from being trapped in the Devil Realm Frog illusion.

“If you refuse him, this young man will die!” Cheng Bai threatened.

Lu Shin Rui bit her lower lip to the point of bleeding, while both of her hands clenched as Cheng Bai approached her and hugged her body.

“A obedient woman. I like it.” Cheng Bai praised Lu Shin Rui's bravery.

“Let go the young man! You hurt him!” lu Shin Rui said.

Cheng Bai smiled grinningly at Lu Shin Rui's cold demeanor, then with a swift movement the man gnawed at Lu Shin Rui's chest and stomach. His rapid movements messed up Lu Shin Rui's meridian points and left him paralyzed in just seconds.

“You! Bastard!” Lu Shin Rui looked at Cheng Bai hatefully and instantly kept his distance.

“Hahahaha! Now you are nothing more than an ordinary woman! You understand what I mean is not that if you want your meridians to flow back, we have to stimulate them with the Double Cultivation Technique!”

Lu Shin Rui's eyes glared at hearing this. There is no loophole for her to save Shu En and escape with the same abilities as ordinary women. Moreover dozens of cultivators surrounded the area around the inn to make sure he did not escape.

“When we have fun Water Goddess!”

Cheng Bai showed off his wide grin and frightened Lu Shin Rui as the man caught his body so easily.
