Liu Bai did not know the hidden potential within him and Shu En knew it perfectly. However Dimata Liu Bai, he saw the figure of Shu En like a different person for a few moments.
Liu Bai's mind flashed that Shu En had a dual personality, but Liu Bai brushed off the idea and believed that Shu En would not betray Yang Ruan.
That night was an unforgettable night for Liu Bai as Shu En forced the potential within him to come out. His fight against Xiong Ni was fierce as the two began an exchange of attacks.
Liu Bai who used a sword as his weapon could withstand the quick and deep attacks of Xiong Ni. But after the two exchanged attacks, Xiong Ni's movements were difficult to follow.
“At last my cultivation is way above you!” xiong Ni said to Liu Bai.
“Replace your weapon with a small knife!” shu En said to Liu Bai.
Without a second thought, Liu Bai followed Shu En's direction right after getting a few slashes on his chest.
‘What does Mr Shu really think?’ Liu Bai nodded and kept his distance from Xiong Ni.
Of course Xiong Ni did not allow Liu Bai to widen the distance, with a quick movement Xiong Ni was about to release a single deadly slash at Liu Bai but suddenly his body had difficulty moving.
Liu Bai who saw the golden opportunity directly aimed the two small blades at Xiong Ni's neck.
“You!” Xiong Ni's eyes glared at Shu En who was smiling coldly at him.
Liu Bai knew Shu En was helping him, but his anger made him unleash another attack on Xiong Ni.
That night Xiong Ni died a terrible death. After successfully killing Xiong Ni, Shu En told Liu Bai that he was better at infiltration than using a sword.
Hearing that Liu Bai tried to understand the power within him. Although for a moment Liu Bai hesitated about Shu En's words just now, but in an instant he immediately introspected himself without commenting more.
“Liu Bai, Xu Kai, the two of you are two cultivators from some cultivators that I sought to achieve my ambitions.” Shu En looked at Xu Kai and Liu Bai in turn before telling his destination.

After conversing, the two began to enter Liuwu City which had been destroyed by the Seven Colors Pagoda. The heartbreaking situation in Liuwu City made Liu Bai become even more silent until he discovered Shu En was reading a document on top of the bloodied middle-aged man's body.
“This is getting interesting! Let's see how far their plan works!”
Neither Liu Bai nor Xu Kai saw Shu En smiling coldly after reading the document. Neither of them asked what the contents of the document were and just kept quiet.
“Why did Mr Shu laugh by himself?” xu Kai asked slowly.
“I guess because of that document..” Liu Bai replied softly.
Soon Shu En approached the two and told them that something was going on in Lotus Mountain and Rainy Season Valley.
“We've cornered them so far. I think they panicked and made a noise outside the plan.” Shu En said softly before making a loud voice.
“We continue our journey to Xudong! The other Seven Colors Pagoda officials are waiting for us!”
“Pardon my subordinate's presumption, Mr. Shu. After coming back I'll make sure they accept the punishment!” xu Kai said with a guilty feeling.
“No need. Honestly I don't care about any of that.” Shu En answered coldly and made the two of them shut up.
“If I use my powers from the beginning then this country will be a weak country. Will you always expect the help of others?”
Shu En's words were so true that Liu Bai and Xu Kai did not make a sound. The life Shu En had lived made him this personal.
“A few years ago I got a memory in the Demon World. Lucky I met the two of you sooner, the remaining Ice Demon, Lightning Devil and Light Devil.”
“Liu Bai, Xu Kai, before you two get involved with me any further I want to ask.” Shu En said to the two of them.
“What do you want to ask, Mr Shu?” liu Bai said.
“You two will prefer me or the Princess?” shu En asked Liu Bai and Xu Kai.
Neither Liu Bai nor Xu Kai both fell silent for quite a while before they asked Shu En the reason for asking so.
“I want to make you both as members of the group I'm going to make. I want you to focus on the work I command and not have to supervise or look after the Princess!” Shu En informed and made Xu Kai oppose.
“But Lord Shu, Liu Bai and I are the Princess's bodyguards! We are two royal family bodyguards sent to guard her!”
“Pregnant him, you say? That's my job! I've sworn to Grandpa Yang if I'm going to make Yang Ruan happy! You two don't have to do unnecessary things!” Shu En.
Hearing that Xu Kai and Liu Bai looked at each other. The two were suspicious of Shu En and Yang Ruan's relationship, but everything was answered tonight.

Sooner or later there will be a war with the Tang Empire. The original plan of the Tang Empire was to make Liuwu and Xudong their base, but the plan had been destroyed by Shu En including Liu Bai and Xu Kai.
This made the remaining Seven Color Pagoda officials and their members gather in the Rainy Season Valley to invade Lotus Mountain.
“Xing Rou and Lu Shin Rui were the two people who were the main targets of the Seven Color Pagoda. One has the Lotus Goddess Body that is the target and the other has the unique ability to control all kinds of animals.”
Hearing Shu En's explanation made Liu Bai and Xu Kai cluck in awe. Although the Yang Empire was going to war with the Tang Empire, Shu En's presence made Liu Bai and Xu Kai see a glimmer of hope.
“After Xudong, we will head to the Valley of the Rainy Season. And this is where your two roles begin.”.
As Shu En explained the role Liu Bai and Xu Kai were about to play, the two were shocked but a smile was painted on their faces.
“But Mr Shu, are we really going to die?” xu Kai asked to be sure.
“You two need not worry. I have the ability of the Fire Phoenix that can heal you.”
Hearing that Liu Bai and Xu Kai became relieved. Afterwards on Shu En's journey explain Xu Kai and Liu Bai's unique abilities in order for the two to learn about them.
When the three of them reached Xudong, a terrifying sight was seen there. In front of the city gate lined the head pieces of the men who were pierced by spears.
Seeing this Xu Kai looked so angry as well as Liu Bai.
“Xu Kai is now your turn! Liu Bai and I will overcome the subordinate of the higher-ups of the Seven Color Pagoda named Zhao Tian!” shu En said before he unleashed a huge amount of murderous aura into Xudong City.
