The incident that befell Emperor Yang made the situation in the Yang Empire into an uproar. The killing carried out by the Seven Colors Pagoda led to a great conspiracy that the relationship between the Yang Empire and the Tang Empire grew cold.

Yang Ruan's return to the Luoyang Capital was met with deep news of grief. After the departure of his parents, Yang Ruan had to accept the harsh reality if the grandfather was in a critical condition due to being poisoned by someone.

If it wasn't for Shu En and Tang Xia helping out, it would have already been confirmed on the way back to the Luoyang Capital, Yang Ruan's life had been lost. The many groups of cultivators eyeing Yang Ruan's life were a concern for Liu Bai and Xu Kai.

The two Yang Ruan bodyguards recovered thanks to Shu En's ability to use the abilities of Zhuan the Fire Phoenix.

After Xu Wang's departure, Yang Ruan called Shu En and Tang Xia to check on his grandfather's condition.

‘Grandfather Wang?! What is he that Pendekar En?!’ inner Yang Ruan churned knowing Xu Wang was coming.

Shu En smiled widely and vomited fresh blood from his mouth right after Xu Wang pulled his right hand from his stomach.

“Tonight I will make a merry conspiracy.”

Xu Wang walked away from Shu En, who was lying in the street with her stomach covered in blood all alone. After Xu Wang's departure, a pair of eyes that accidentally saw the incident went silent and completely eliminated his existence.
