CHAPTER 8 | Rainbow City

“What do you mean? I just passed through your city” Xiaozi told them

“I can't believe it. Every time there is always someone from the human clan who comes to our city to scout our strength.

“I'm not part of them” Xiaozi said

“You think we believe?” said those who then approached him and locked Xiaozi up

“Truly shit. This beast clan is truly a barbar” Xiaozi muttered

Xiaozi retreated to avoid their encirclement, but his body suddenly hit a tree and could not retreat anymore.

Xiaozi's eyes looked around him and the pigs licked their slovenly mouths and snorted at him.

“Since when will pigs eat humans?” mumbled Xiaozi back in annoyance

“Master, why are you afraid?” sip his sword

“What do you mean?” xiaozi asked the sword

“I saw the delicious pork satay and pork soy sauce was approaching us” said the sword made Xiaozi's mind change and his face looked hungry.

The pig clans were surprised to see the change in Xiaozi's face, their instincts feeling the killing lust from Xiaozi's body.

“You're right, I want to eat pork satay and roast pork after a few days of just seeing insect food. I'm really starving” Xiaozi said drooling.

Now the eyes of those pig clans were twitching after hearing Xiaozi's words.

“It turns out you're the cruelest man. You want to eat us?” the pig leader was now trembling in fear seeing the hunger lust from Xiaozi's body.

Xiaozi without saying much started pouncing on one of the pigs, but he managed to escape. Then Xiaozi pounced back at the other pig he saw.

He was finally able to get one of the pigs he caught.

NGUUIIIKKKK!!

The captured pig cried for help to his friends who had first saved themselves.

Xiaozi tied it to the tree trunk and prepared a fire large enough to roast it.

“You want to eat this pork?” suddenly someone's voice sounded.

This time Xiaozi's eyes did not blink at all, seeing a beautiful human figure walking over to him.

“You... Are you a goddess?” xiaozi asked the woman.

The woman laughed amusedly at Xiaozi's cute face, her face red hearing Xiaozi call her a goddess.

“Not. I'm Shan Mui from the human clan”

“Finally I met the human clan” she cheered inwardly

“Do you intend to eat this slovenly pig?” shan Mui asked Xiaozi

“Ah no, I just want to scare her off” Xiaozi said

“You better not do that, because eating a creature from the beast clan will turn you into one of them” Shan Mui said back

“What? Thank goodness I haven't done it yet. Good thing you saved me Miss” Xiaozi said

“What's your name? Where are you from?” shan Mui asked him

“I Xiaozi, I am from the city of Murbai”

“Murbai City? I never heard the name of that city” Shan Mui said

“Ah is right too. It's a different world. Of course they never heard my city” Xiaozi murmured in his heart.

“Where are your goals?” ask Shan Mui

“I want to go to the city of human clan” Xiaozi said back

“Then, come with me” Shan Mui said as she led her northward

“I am from the Rainbow City. Let's go there” take Shan Mui back

They crossed the river in a boat that was there.

“Nona, how about food in Rainbow city?” asked Xiaozi who was already starving

“Very good” said Shan Mui smiled at him.

Xiaozi's face brightly heard the good words of the human clan, surely their food must be very tasty and nutritious.

“In our Rainbow city there is the most delicious monster cuisine” Shan Mui said

Hearing that, Xiaozi's face turned blue imagining the monster he had killed was presented on the table to be eaten by him

“Hahaha... I was just kidding” said Shan Mui who saw the change in Xiaozi's face that was blue because of his words.

“Are you also a monster hunter?” shan Mui asked Xiaozi

“Monster Hunters?” Xiaozi was surprised to hear that.

“Oh, it's not. Have you ever killed a monster?” shan Mui asked back

“Even once killed them” said Xiaozi honestly

“Ohya? How many did you kill?” shan Mui asked again as if she was investigating.

“Not much, just two monsters” Xiaozi told me lied

“I heard the news that someone had saved the lizard clan from a very many monster attack” Shan Mui said

“I thought you did it. But I don't think so. You don't look that strong” Shan Mui continued

Xiaozi's eyes twitched hearing Shan Mui's words, yet there was a point as well. What killed those monsters was his sword. Indirectly, the sword did it.

But directly his own body that has killed the monsters.

“Hehehe. I am not that strong” said

“What does beautiful eyes have to do with this?” sahut Shan Mui was sniffed when she heard Xiaozi teasing her but could not hide her red-hued face.

Xiaozi did not continue, he tried to divert the conversation to ask Shan Mui about the situation in Rainbow City.

Shan Mui then briefly explained about Rainbow town to Xiaozi

“The Rainbow City is the city of monster hunters” Shan Mui said

“Only that?” Xiaozi asked back after waiting for her continuation from Shan Mui's lips

“This new really short” Xiaozi murmured in his heart.

“Is miss a Monster hunter?” ask Xiaozi

“Iya. I come from the Shan family who is famous as the most powerful monster hunter in the human clan”

“Is being a monster hunter a job?” ask Xiaozi back

“True. You can get rich after becoming a professional monster hunter” Shan Mui said back

“Really? How to?” ask Xiaozi

“You just have to hand over the monster head to the monster hunting ground and receive a monetary reward for it” Shan Mui said

“I heard earlier there were several tails from the lizard clan who brought many monster heads to the monster hunting ground and earned a lot of money” continued Shan Mui

“Basic desert lizard! They actually got the results from my efforts” Xiaozi muttered regretfully having helped the lizard clan fight monsters.

“We have reached” Shan Mui said when her boat had started to be on the other side. Shan Mui then jumped up and went towards the rainbow city followed by Xiaozi behind her.
