CHAPTER 53 | Hill of Death – Spirit Followers

Seeing one of the 5 spirit followers caught, Xiaozi and his friends believe that the death of the villagers is indeed related to the temple in front of the Spirit Tree.

“Let's go to the temple with this person” said Xiaozi who immediately caught and tied up the goat clan man.

Xiaozi and his friends immediately set out for the temple in the middle of the spirit forest still crowded by visiting people to get the services of spirit followers.

“You all go home, we have business with the spirit followers in this temple” Xiaozi shouted at everyone who visited.

“You if you want to get service, queue dong like us” shouted the person in the queue. “Betul!” yelled at the person next to him at the same time.

Xiaozi then threw the body of the goat clan's spirit follower who was captured by him towards the temple door and smashed it. The goat clan person who was a follower of the spirit fainted after his body violently slammed against the door of the temple.

The people who were queuing up to see the incident immediately panicked and dispersed themselves, then there were also those who saw from a distance.

Xiaozi and his friends are standing at the door of the destroyed temple, “Come out, or you have to drag you guys out” Xiaozi shouted with an angry face.

“Alright, you guys please forward” command Xiaozi.

All of Xiaozi's friends jumped into the temple of the spiritists. In the temple there are only 3 people left who are doing service to the small people around him.

The little people who requested service were immediately pulled out by Shan Mui, Chen Yan and Wuya. Then Qiongqi and He Xian attacked the two spirit retainers closest to him.

The two spirit disciples did not possess too high a strength, they were easily defeated by Qiongqi and He Xian. Another man in the back fled to the inside to report to their leader inside.

BUMM!

It looked as if two people were flying up from the inside of the temple that was destroyed by them before flying out.

The two people stood inside the temple and looked towards He Xian and Qiongqi who had killed the two spiritists inside the temple. Their eyes turned red and their faces were furious at that.

“Who dare you troublemakers inside this temple?” one of them shouted in anger.

“The dead need not know our names” shouted Qiongqi who immediately attacked them ferociously.

The two people then counterattacked towards He Xian and Qiongqi ferociously as well. The one who attacked He Xian did not give He Xian a chance to retaliate and make him desperate. But the other one could not urge on Qiongqi because of Qiongqi's extremely strong strength from him.

Qiongqi still did not give him a chance to take a breath, then he attacked again ferociously at that person even though he was hiding back inside the temple. Qiongqi did not chase after him, his eyes turning to He Xian who looked slightly overwhelmed against one of the people earlier.

Seeing He Xian in a desperate state, Qiongqi became furious then jumped to He Xian's aid. This time Qiongqi did not let her quarry slip. He firmly gripped the man's neck and broke it and dumped his corpse onto the floor of the temple.

There were no enemies in the temple, so Xiaozi's friends went around to find out if any enemies were still hiding from them.

Meanwhile Xiaozi outside the temple saw the shadow of someone flashing from inside the temple towards the Spirit Tree. He followed the man who stopped in front of the Spirit Tree. He was seen praying and begging for protection to the Tree's protective Spirit.

“Cih, you guys turned out to be a bunch of cowards, you only dared to kill the little people” Xiaozi said seeing his quarry kneeling in front of the Spirit tree.

The face of the kneeling person darkened, his anger felt all the way to the crown he then charged towards Xiaozi with the rest of his strength ferociously.

Xiaozi only calmly endured the palm strike from that person who intended to kill him using his palm as well.

BUMM!

The two hands met each other and the two forces clashed against each other. But Xiaozi's strength was stronger than her. The person's body was shattered with broken bones all over his body. He grinned with the rest of his strength panting trying to speak.

“You won't be able to get away with killing us and messing with the spirit followers on duty” said the person with the rest of his manpower.

“Ohya? I want to see if I can get away later or not” Xiaozi said.

Xiaozi then approached the person and placed a palm on the person's head. He then exerted the Diamond's natural strength and destroyed the person's body. The screams of death and blood spurted around the place as the man's life blew away.

Suddenly a large tall figure with a red face appeared and looked sharply at Xiaozi.

“You have made a mess in my territory, this Spirit Forest. I'll give you a lesson” shouted the man while charging towards Xiaozi

“It turns out that the five spirit followers have supporters like you” Xiaozi said against him using the Spirit Hunter sword.

BUMM!

The clash between the claws and the sword of the Spirit Hunter occurred and made the figure fly backwards. Xiaozi was pushed back two steps.

The figure did not accept himself losing to Xiaozi, he then exerted his peak strength at the 1st level of the Golden realm and charged back towards Xiaozi.

Xiaozi just stood still and exerted his level 2 diamond stage strength. “This is my chance to test the cultivation strength of my level 2 Diamond.”

Suddenly the person took out his heirloom weapon to withstand Xiaozi's attack. Looking at the heirloom weapon, Xiaozi did not hesitate in the slightest as he continued his attack towards that person.

The person's body was hit by a crushing blow from Xiaozi on his chest. That person felt his chest being crushed by Xiaozi's strength. He was unable to move his body when he saw Xiaozi walking towards him. Xiaozi then hit the person's body hard and made him die horribly.
