CHAPTER 59 | Hill of Death – Red Crystals

Xiaozi narrowed his eyes looking at the red-colored Crystal in the sky of the cave. “What is this thing exactly?” xiaozi asked the general.

“That's called Kristal Merah” said the bat general

The Red Crystal was a collection of blood that came out when the Bat King slaughtered the slave that became his food. That room was the dining room of the Bat King.

In the middle of the room there is a table made of stone to place “hidun” for the Bat King. The bat king sucked the blood of his victims, and the blood came out of his body before his death.

The blood Eve was absorbed by the crystals in the ceiling of the cave which was getting longer causing the crystal to turn blood red. The crystal was used by the Bat King to increase his cultivation. And it can also make a mutated bat like the bat general.

“Good. Because you helped me. I will kill you painlessly” said Xiaozi who made the bat general's face turn pale.

“No...” cried the blood general as Xiaozi exerted his strength and smashed the bat general's head into pieces.

Then Xiaozi took the blood crystal and stored it inside his storage ring. Xiaozi then returned to meet with his friends at the end of the hall.

In the other passageway within the cave, Qiongqi who was walking with Chen Yan arrived at the end of the dark passageway. The moment they arrived carrying torches, a swarm of bats immediately flew towards them, but dodged the torch in Chen Yan's hands.

“Awas” shouted Qiongqi seeing a bat about to attack Chen Yan

Qiongqi who saw the attack instantly bit the incoming bats and clawed at them with both hands. Chen Yan used the torch in his hand to dispel the other bats.

Seeing the many swarms of bats, Qiongqi grew fiercer, he went on a rampage destroying the herd of bats. While Chen Yan chose to burn them with his torch fire.

“They're thousands. I have to use my weapon as well” muttered Chen Yan

As Qiongqi was fighting the bat herd fiercely, suddenly two figures flashed attacking towards him. Chen Yan who saw that immediately released his five secret weapons towards the shadow of the figure.

“Aakh... “ looked as the figure shouted as Chen Yan's blade stuck in their body. Qiongqi who was looking towards the two figures of the bat general instantly attacked them ferociously. He didn't give the two generals a chance to fight back.

In just 20 minutes the entire bat herd in the place had been sprawled on the cave floor with flowing blood smelling rancid around it. Qiongqi's body was full of bat blood.

Chen Yan heaved a sigh of relief after seeing that there were no remaining bats still inside the cave. The place also looked empty, it did not appear that the Red Crystal was inside the cave passage.

“Let's go back. There are no Red Crystals here” take Chen Yang to Qiongqi

They went back to the hall where they had split.

In the other hallway, Wuya and He Xian found no difficulty, they arrived at the place where the other treasures belonged to the bat clan. There are lots of gold and jewels in it.

“We take this and bring it to travel later” said Wuya who was also approved by He Xian. They also took the valuable treasures in the cave and stored them in He Xian's storage ring.

After feeling full enough, they went back to the original hallway to gather with their friends back.

As Xiaozi and Shan Mui arrived first, Xiaozi smelled the blood rancid smell from the direction of the passageway where Qiongqi was leaving. “What's in there?” mumbled Xiaozi waiting for his four friends

Shortly afterwards, Qiongqi appeared with Chen Yan from the cave passage. “maaf Xiaozi, we found nothing there other than where the bat rested sleeping.

“That's because they woke up and attacked us. Qiongqi then finished them off all” Chen Yan continued.

Xiaozi shook his head looking towards Qiongqi who was smiling at him. Although he knew Qiongqi was an extremely ferocious wild beast, yet he was certain that he would not recklessly act either.

Then shortly after He Xian emerged from the hall next to him with Wuya. They seemed happy with what was obtained inside the cave passage.

“Sorry Xiaozi, there are no Red Crystals in there. But we found a lot of gold there” said He Xian who smiled proudly.

Xiaozi also shook his head hearing He Xian's words, “That's okay. I have found Red Crystals” Xiaozi said

“Means our task is done here. We can proceed to find the other two magic materials.” He Xian continued.

Xiaozi then invited his friends to come out of the cave. They had slaughtered the bat clan inside the cave.

“Nona Shan, where is closer Land of Fire or Mermaid Island.” asked Xiaozi

Shan Mui opened the map she had and saw the Land of Fire being closer than it was to the southwest.

“I think the Land of Fire is closer than this place” said Shan Mui

“Good. We're heading for the Land of Fire. Check the strength of the place which according to Master Liu Ba is the residence of one of the monster generals Sanme.” continued Xiaozi.

Shan Mui immediately requested information through the hunter token. Then they sent out information that made Shan Mui's eyes widen to read it.

Land of Fire, the territory of a rank 3 Monster General named General Sanme, the power of a level 4 Jade stage.
