CHAPTER 70 | Devil Valley – Kidnapping

Shan Mui, Chen Yan and He Xian who were meditating were unaware of Jiangshi's presence outside the cave as Qiongqi and Wuya were already preparing to fight them.

The smoke that flowed into the cave came from the direction Jiangshi came from. Then inside the cave suddenly appeared 3 Yuan Gui. Yuan Gui's ghost is from the spirits of the miners who died a lot in that place.  Yuan Gui's ghost then moved towards Xiaozi's three friends and affected him.

Shan Mui and Chen Yan were influenced by the two ghosts, and they left the cave. While one other Yuan Gui did not manage to affect He Xian, as he instantly cast a spell of his soul calmness.

“Where are Shan Mui and Chen Yan?” muttered He Xian felt worried after successfully expelling one of Yuan Gui.

He Xian then searched for them in the cave and around where they were cultivating, but did not find them. He then came out to ask Qiongqi and Wuya who had also finished defeating the 4 Jiangshi outside the cave.

“Qiongqi, Wuya. Did you guys see the departure of Miss Shan Mui and Miss Chen Yan?” he Xian asked them.

“Aren't they previously with you inside?” suhut Wuya was shocked

“As long as we keep watch at the mouth of this cave, we don't see anyone in and out of this place” Qiongqi said

He Xian then invited them to search for the whereabouts of Shan Mui and Chen Yan. Eventually they found another cave mouth as a way out of the Yuan Gui.

“Damn it, what should I say to Xiaozi later” growled He Xian was annoyed at him.

Smoke from inside the cave also seemed to slowly dissipate, while outside the cave looked 4 undead that this time would not be able to live anymore because Qiongqi and Wuya had already overcome them by shredding their bodies into pieces especially the head part had separated by their necks.

Qiongqi became furious after learning of the disappearance of Shan Mui and Chen Yan. He feels guilty about it. “I will go around looking for their whereabouts” Qiongqi said as she went looking around the old mine and the abandoned villages.

“He Xian, I will look for mister Xiaozi to return to” soon Wuya said as he passed looking for Xiaozi.

He Xian remained alone at the mouth of the cave who was still upset with him who could not keep the two women of their team. He immediately opened his magic book to look for something that could be used to track the whereabouts of his two friends.

“At last I found one tracking sorcery in this book. But I need a material that is something that belongs to them” murmured He Xian.

He Xian then searched for objects belonging to the two of them or one of them to be able to track the whereabouts of the two women using his tracking magic.

His eyes were fixed on a blade that Chen Yan had used just now still stuck on the wall while training. He Xian took it and immediately set out to cast a tracking magic spell

“He Xian, what happened?” xiaozi asked with an anxious face when he had returned with Wuya.

He Xian then explained the incident while they were meditating after training. He was then bullied by the ghostly figure of Yuan Gui who was about to borrow his body. It was when he defeated Yuan Gui that he realized Shan Mui and Chen Yan had disappeared.

“It is likely that Yuan Gui managed to enter their body and carry that body away from this place” He Xian continued.

Xiaozi pondered over the possibility, but the problem was how to control Yuan Gui and Jiangshi.

“Sial, I think by being in the cave, you will be safe let alone Qiongqi and Wuya who are guarding at the mouth of gua” Xiaozi said

“Master, it looks like those Yuan Gui are the ghosts of the miners who have died in this place. So they know very well the ins and outs of this old mine. They turned out through the mouth of another cave and did not pass us” said Wuya sadly

Xiaozi heard Wuya's plausible explanation, he went towards the mouth of another cave pointed out by He Xian and Wuya.

“Sial, what should we do now” asked Xiaozi

“Xiaozi, I have found magic to track their whereabouts. I was just about to try and do it” He Xian said he had started to prepare.

Xiaozi's eyes sparkled as if looking at hope, he then approved of He Xian's proposal. He Xian then cast a spell using a knife belonging to Chen Yan that he had found.

Then there was a glowing smoke billowing from the knife, then it displayed a glowing spot of light and moved slowly towards the mouth of the cave. The three of them then followed the movement of the light point which then flew slowly out of the cave.

“Wuya, call Qiongqi and follow us” Xiaozi orders on Wuya.

“Good mister” Wuya then went to call Qiongqi to catch up with them later.

He Xian and Xiaozi moved in the direction of the light point that led to a hidden path and entered the forest to the southeast of the mine cave.

That light point did not stop and headed towards a valley in front of him. Xiaozi and He Xian's eyes glared at the direction of the valley.

“This Devil Valley” Xiaozi muttered.

He Xian stopped his tracking spell and the beam disappeared. He stood beside Xiaozi looking towards the Demon Valley. “What should we do now?” ask He Xian

“We await the arrival of Qiongqi and Wuya. Obviously we're going to infiltrate the Devil's Valley. You reactivate later the tracking spell earlier” Xiaozi advised.

“Baik” He Xian said

After a while, Qiongqi and Wuya had come to gather with them. Then He Xian reactivated the tracking spell from Chen Yan's blade. They then followed the direction of the flying light towards a house located in the Devil's Valley.

He Xian then stopped the spell again. “It looks like this beam will go to the house” whispered

“Wuya, go see the situation in the house” Xiaozi ordered Wuya.

“Baik” sahut Wuya who immediately flew into a crow went to the house to see the situation there.

In the house, there were several guards around the house. Wuya's arrival was invisible to them. Wuya walked slowly as the crow slipped into the house.
