CHAPTER 44 | Hill of Death – Magic

“Magic material?” Xiaozi was stunned to hear Master Liu Ba's words.

He Xian who also heard the words of his teacher thought of the magic materials that his teacher meant.

“Teacher, magic material what does Teacher mean?” he Xian asked his teacher

Master Liu Ba then pointed the Spirit Hunter sword into the sky and weighed the weight of the sword. “We will need 3 magic materials to unseal this sword” continued Master Liu Ba.

Master Liu Ba then invited them to enter his residence. Then he took out a magic book from inside his storage ring. A book that looks shabby because it is old. Then Master Liu Ba turned the page around and stopped and showed a picture and writing on the page.

“Eggs Phoenix”

He Xian's eyes were shocked to see the pictures and writings on the old book. Those three ingredients are very hard to get. He could only sigh at the thought of a way to obtain those three magic materials.

“These three magic materials will help us unlock the seal on this sword. Without using these magic materials, I would also be unable to unseal them” said Master Liu Ba helplessly.

Xiaozi's face grimly heard Master Liu Ba's words, “ Elders, please hint from you. Where can I get the three magic ingredients” asked Xiaozi

“From those three ingredients, Phoenix Eggs are the hardest to get. Because the egg is only owned by Monster General Sanme who is a rank 3 Monster General of 5 Monster” Generals

He Xian, Shan Mui and Chen Yan sighed almost simultaneously after hearing Master Liu Ba's words. The power of rank 5 alone, General Wume is already so strong, let alone being ranked 3rd General Sanme.

Xiaozi understood the difficulty of getting the Phoenix Egg that appeared on the faces of the three friends.

“Red crystal, you can get it in the bat clan which is in the west of this crow clan territory” said Master Liu Ba

“Mermaid tears are certainly obtained in a remote village where the mermaid clans live on an island east of Death Hill called Pulau Duyung.”

“While the Phoenix Egg is in the territory of Monster General Sanme called the Land of Fire, the residence of the phoenix bird clan in the past.” continued Master Liu Ba explained the location of the three magic materials.

“Alright, we will leave soon after I practice adjusting my cultivation strength” Xiaozi said while radiating his cultivation energy. However that energy did not last long, he could only expel that energy from within his body for 10 minutes.

“Stages Diamond level 1?” Master Liu Ba was surprised to feel the cultivation power of Xiaozi as he exuded it. However he felt that energy could not last long after being emitted by Xiaozi.

“Son, what happened to old Luo Shan?” teacher Liu Ba asked as soon as he saw Xiaozi's cultivation strength which was like Luo Shan's.

Xiaozi then lowered his head recounting Master Luo Shan's request of him before they were chased away by him from Wu Shan Mountain.

“Hmm... What your Master, Luo Shan has done is correct. He hopes you can avenge his death someday. And he trusted you so much that he sacrificed the results of his years of training for you” said Master Liu Ba.

“Although my cultivation strength is at Diamond stage 1, it is still not stable. So I have to practice to align it in my body” Xiaozi said

Master Liu Ba then took out a pill from inside his storage ring and handed it to Xiaozi. “This is a level 10 cultivation pill, you can use this to continue your training” said

Xiaozi received a gift from Master Liu Ba, then he ate it, “Thank you elder” said

“Go to the special training ground in this place to purify that pill and practice your cultivation. He Xian will deliver you” Master Liu Ba said.

“Good Guru” said He Xian who then took Xiaozi to go to a place that was in a magic formation called special training by Master Liu Ba.

Xiaozi along with Shan Mui and Chen Yan walked up to He Xian and saw a door leading into a sealed room that still stood firm compared to the other debris around it.

He Xian then took Xiaozi into that special training ground, “Xiaozi, this special training ground is built with magic formations that can increase cultivation strength quickly” He Xian said proudly.

“You should have high cultivation strength because you have a special training place like this” Xiaozi said that made He Xian's eyes twitch to hear it.

“I am studying to learn magic, so increasing my cultivation is not very interesting to me. And I don't need to rush to train him” He Xian said looking for an excuse.

“Say you are less talented to practice Xiaozi's god cultivation” on He Xian.

“Already, we focus on talking about your training,”, over He Xian who is reluctant to discuss about his cultivation. They then walked into that special training ground.

Inside the room, there appeared a magic formation that amplified the aura within that special training room. Xiaozi and his friends looked around the room in the shape of a square box.

“Sit at the center of the magic formation Xiaozi, you can adjust the gravity by using the power of your mind to change the gravity inside this room” He Xian continued

Xiaozi obeyed what He Xian had said, he sat right at the center of the magic formation as per He Xian's instructions. Then he used the power of his mind to turn the gravitational force within the room into 10x folds.

Soon the bodies of Xiaozi and his companions became heavier due to the 10x increase in gravity. Then Xiaozi stopped him after seeing the results of the experiment of changing gravity with the power of his mind.

“Alright Xiaozi, I will return to tell you with my Master. You can practice in this place freely” He Xian said

Xiaozi then closed his eyes again to continue the special training in the training room. Meanwhile his three friends had walked out of the special training room and went to see Master Liu Ba.

“Show me where your cultivation training has come” Teacher Liu Ba asked He Xian.

He Xian only smiled at his Master's words, then he began to exert his cultivation energy to be able to be examined by his Master.

“Hmm. You are too lazy to practice so that your strength does not change much from before.
