The Sword of the Spirit Hunter
CHAPTER 11 | Blank Book

All the participants of the beginner class of monster hunters had chosen their respective weapon books according to their favorite weapons. However Xiaozi was at a loss as to what book would be appropriate for him.

After all the other participants left, Tuo's grandfather still saw Xiaozi who was busy picking out weaponry manuals for him.

“This child has a different aura to the others” muttered Tuo's grandfather approaching him

“Nak, what's your name? Show me the weapon you used?” ask Grandpa Tuo about him

“My name is Xiaozi cake. This is my weapon” Xiaozi said as he took out his Spirit Hunter Sword

Grandpa Tuo was surprised, his eyes twitching felt the aura from the Sword that made his body shiver.

“I...This Sky” Heirloom sword he thought and felt the pressure from the sword on him.

“Son, for this sword his book is not here. You have to go to the 3rd floor library to get it. This sword will choose it for you” Tuo's grandfather told him.

Xiaozi did not understand the grandfather's intentions but he nodded and then went to the library in the next pavilion where the monster hunt was.

“Finally that style will be there will be a successor” murmured grandfather Tuo with sparkling eyes

Xiaozi had arrived in front of the 3-story library, then he went inside and saw an old grandfather sitting in front of the library recording every book borrowed by the visitors.

“Grandfather, I was told to go to the 3rd floor looking for a book by Tuo”'s grandfather Xiaozi said

The grandfather was surprised to hear it, then pointed towards the stairs that went up to the top floor.

“You climbed up from this ladder and then climbed back up to the top floor, entered the door to the right of” and re-recorded the book borrowed by visitors.

“Thank you kek” said Xiaozi who then climbed the stairs up to the 3rd floor and opened the door of the room on the right.

There were a few bookshelves in that place. Xiaozi was confused to choose which book. He walked around the place until somewhere, his sword shook and buzzed.

“What's up?” mumbles Xiaozi

“Master, I feel an aura from this top shelf that makes me feel happy” said his sword

“The top shelf?”Xiaozi then took the stairs to see what was there

A box sealed with chains was up there. Then Xiaozi took it and placed it on the table that was there.

“How to unseal this chain?” xiaozi thought

“Master, use the handle of my sword to unseal it” sahut the sword again

Xiaozi then pulled out his sword from the storage ring and used his sword hilt to unlock the seal that locked the chain.

CLICK IT!

The seal opens and the chain is drawn into the seal. Now the box can be opened by him.

Xiaozi's heart pounded as he opened it, then he saw a book inside the box. But after opening the book, he did not see the writing or images on the page.

“I... Is it just an empty book? Why is this so?” mumbled Xiaozi in his heart

“Master, take this book. I'll tell you later how to read it” said the sword back.

Xiaozi then took the book and brought it down to be recorded by the library's guardian grandfather

“You took this book? It's an empty book. Are you sure?” ask the grandfather

Xiaozi nodded his head smiling at him.

Xiaozi immediately left the library, intending to find Shan Mui, but was not found.

Finally he looked for a place to stay that at the same time provided a place to eat.

“I miss once with human cooking” muttered in my heart with a smile

Then he ordered some of the food he liked and sat down to eat it voraciously when the food had been prepared.

While eating, she did not realize Shan Mui had come with her 2 friends and was sitting behind her.

Shan Mui did not realize that Xiaozi was sitting on his back to each other.

“Miss Shan, I heard today you didn't bring any monster hunting results. What happened?” ask a friend

“I didn't meet any monsters during today's trip. But I met someone from another world”.

“Ohya? Is she a lady or a lady boy?” ask his other friend

“He's a man” says Shan Mui with a smile

“Is he handsome?” ask his friend again.

“Shi Shi, you do not tease him” said the first friend

“What does this have to do with your question? shan Mui asked, whose face turned red

“Ah yes I forgot, you have been betrothed to the Prince of Shang by your family” said that friend named Shi Shi who made Shan Mui's face become moody

“Why? Don't you want to marry her?” ask his friend first

“Entai Wu Mi, I feel it is not time to think about marriage. Because I want to be a strong monster hunter first” Shan Mui said

“What's true because of that? Or because of the guy you met yesterday?” ask the friend called Wu Mi back.

“What does this have to do with him? We just met once” Shan Mui's face turned red because upset her friends teased her.

“Hihi... Wu Mi, it seems like there is something between them” Shi Shi said heating it answered with an amused laugh by Wu Mi.

Shan Mui became annoyed at being seduced by her friend, she then switched the conversation to something else.

“I heard the Monster clan is getting fiercer lately. Any word from your brother Shi?” ask Shan Mui

“My brother Shi Lang and his team of monster hunters are eradicating the group of monsters that attack the eastern central region” Shi Shi said.

“They haven't returned?” ask Shan Mui again

“Not yet. I hope my brother can win that fight” said Shi Shi who was a little worried

“I heard that Prince Shang will also join forces to eradicate the monsters in the east. He will come with his troops to this town in the afternoon. You will definitely be called to meet him by your family” Wu Mi said

“Ah” Shan Mui sighed at the news.

Shan Mui is the second daughter of the Shan family and her father Shan Mong is the head of a monster hunting sect in the town of Rainbow.

Shan Mui's older brother Shan Yuan was a powerful man who would become the successor of the next monster hunting sect in his father's stead.

Shan Mong is friendly with King Shan Jiang, so are their children Shan Yuan and Prince Shang Ji are close friends. And to further strengthen their kinship, Prince Shang Ji was then betrothed to Shan Yuan's younger brother, Shan Mui.

King Shan Jiang was the King of the Kingdom of the northern region of this plain. And every royal family about to hunt monsters always stopped by in Rainbow town to visit the Shan family.
