The Sword of the Spirit Hunter
CHAPTER 3 | Meet Sword Spirit Hunters

The door at the end of the cave opened wide, dark inside. Not even a directed lantern was able to light it.

Xiaozi hesitated whether he would enter it or not, but when he was still standing at the door. A powerful force pulled his body into the dark door.

He felt his body being sucked in by the immense force and the pressure made his head dizzy and a drop of blood flowed out from his nostrils.

Xiaozi was not a person of high cultivation, he was only in the spirit realm so the power from within the door made him drip blood as a result of the pressure.

Then he saw the light at the end of the passageway that pulled him. Then he fell in a forest back with his body still injured by the tiger.

“Ugh, today is really an unlucky day” murmured while still lying on the ground in that forest.

Xiaozi was still lying down to recover his shock and also felt that his body was a little difficult to move as a result of falling from the lost passageway somewhere.

Suddenly a head appeared in front of his face, the head was similar to the face of a green-colored lizard sticking out its long tongue.

The lizard's eyes flickered looking at him, making Xiaozi startled and awakened to it.

“Aah, who are you” shouted

The lizard was surprised to see Xiaozi's shock and moved away from him. He tried to speak a language that Xiaozi did not understand.

“ ⁇ ⁇ ” as if the lizard was talking to him.

“Ugh, this must be a dream. I met a lizard that was as stature as a green-tailed human wearing a female outfit and spoke to me” he murmured inwardly

Xiaozi looked towards the lizard examining its body, making the lizard's face turn red and moving backwards away from it.

“ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ” again the lizard said something strange

Xiaozi did not know what to answer, he did not understand the lizard's words. Then his hands stretched out to try to reach him, making sure he was dreaming or not.

The lizard looked frightened and then went to escape quickly leaving him.

“This must have been a dream. The lizard quickly disappeared from before me” muttered in his heart.

“But where is this?” think again while looking around the forest.

Then he walked in one direction to find a clue even though he thought this was a dream.

“Despite dreams there must be an explanation” thought Xiaozi

Suddenly he again saw a cave hidden behind a lush bush.

“Again a cave, is this the door place to return from this dream world?” xiaozi thought

Curious, Xiaozi entered the cave, which was small enough that he crawled to enter. But getting deeper, the cave widened to the end of the cave was wide enough for him to stand up and look around.

A sword hung in the air and chained around it stuck in the cave wall.

Xiaozi's eyes widened, he then tried to hold the sword to examine it.

“Ugh” Xiaozi was shocked to feel the sting while holding the sword and saw his finger being injured by the sword's sting and his blood sticking to the sword's hilt.

“Why do I feel pain in this dream?” he thought confused and looked at his injured finger.

The sword trembled and the sound of chains gurgling was then cut off by the vibration of the sword.

Xiaozi's eyes twitched, he shivered in fear seeing the sword's reaction. He had not expected that even though the sword chain had broken apart to shatter, yet the sword was still floating in the air

“This must really be a dream” he murmured in heart

“Ah, adorable once” suddenly she heard a voice from the direction of that sword

Xiaozi turned his face around to look for the direction the voice came from. But he did not find anyone in the cave.

“Si..Who are you?” xiaozi asked at the voice

“Did you give your blood to wake me up?” ask the voice again

“Blood? Whatdoes thatmean? Wake who?” mumbled Xiaozi back

He thought of his hand being scratched by the sting in the sword hilt earlier. His eyes were then fixed on the sword blade that floated in front of him.

“What is my blood you mean?” xiaozi asked at the voice

“True. I don't see anyone else around here. It must be your blood that feels sweet” said the voice

Xiaozi's eyes stared at the sword and then approached it to confirm the direction the sound heard by it came from.

“Give me a little more blood. Then you will be my lord” said the voice.

Xiaozi subconsciously retreated away from the sword as soon as he heard him ask for his blood again. His eyes twitched knowing that a sword was speaking to him.

“No. I don't want to kill the man who will be my master. I just want to know the blood to flow in my body, this” said the voice

“Body? Whoareyou? Why don't I see you?” ask Xiaozi back

Xiaozi's face became tense at the sound of the sword, but he still did not believe it.

“Hahaha..I am this sword. You are looking at me” said the voice that turned out to be from the flying sword.

Xiaozi finally realized that it was the sword that was talking to him. He became frightened and hesitated to follow the words of the sword.

“Do not be afraid. I am the Sword Spirit Hunter. My last master died thousands of years ago. And I fell asleep here. It is because of your blood that I have finally awakened again” said the sword.

Xiaozi was silent for a moment thinking about this. “Should I trust his words?”

“Good. I'll give you a little of my blood” Xiaozi said

Then the sword floated up like excitement swerving around, then came down and stood in front of Xiaozi.

“I'm ready to receive your blood to flow inside my body” said the sword vibrated while buzzing.

Xiaozi bit his index finger to draw out a speck of blood and then polished the blade of the sword body.

“Good. Very sweet blood. You are my new master now” said the sword.

“Spirit Hunter Swords. Is that your name?” ask Xiaozi

Although Xiaozi was a little scared at first, he got used to it and approached the sword.

“Benar” sahut the sword

“Why is your name creepy like that?” ask Xiaozi back

Xiaozi then ventured to grab the sword with his hand and felt a tremor from the hilt.

“Hahaha.. because indeed I ate the spirit of the creatures I had killed” said the sword again while shaking.

“You're so mean?” xiaozi said

Xiaozi's eyes shuddered at the words from the sword in his hand. He swung the sword to try to use it.

“Master, I was indeed made to it” said the sword trembled as if confirming Xiaozi's words.

“Good. I'll keep you in my storage ring. Enter” Xiaozi said next

“Good tuan” sahut the sword which then entered into the Xiaozi storage ring.

Xiaozi took off the sword in his hand which then floated down to the dimension inside the storage ring given by his mother.

“It looks like what I'm experiencing is not a dream” Xiaozi muttered

“Of course this is not a dream tuan” said the sword from inside Xiaozi's storage ring

Even though the sword had been inside his storage ring, he could still talk to Xiaozi from within the ring.

“Where do you think I should go now?” xiaozi asked the sword.

“Find as many victims to be my food” said the sword made Xiaozi's eyes twitch to hear it.

Xiaozi's eyes twitched again at the cruel words of the sword. He sighed.

“I don't like killing recklessly. So take care of your appetite” Xiaozi said

“Good. As your request tuan” sahut the sword back

Xiaozi then walked out of the cave, then returned to the middle of the forest.

From a distance looks lizard woman who ran away earlier came with some people who also their faces similar to lizards. But this time it looks like they are from the same clan.

They approached Xiaozi, then the female lizard who had said to the people behind them.

“ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ , ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ” said the lady's lizard

“ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ” ask one of them on a woman

“ ⁇ ⁇ ” sahut the female lizard

This time Xiaozi's head felt like it was breaking to hear their conversation that was not understood by him.
