Syahdu stands in front of the Wicak boarding gate. He had never been to that place before, only Wicak had told him his address.
Syahdu wanted to enter, but he was confused as to how. Moreover, it costs men, it must be awkward if women enter it. Since then Syahdu contacted Wicak, but there was no response at all.
Before long, a man walked out of the main entrance to the gate, along with a woman wearing a white mask.
Syahdu. Isn't that a man's mess? Obviously, the writing is also big on the gate. But why are there women too? Are they husband and wife?
"Mom, find who?" The man asked Shahdu, whom he had seen silent before the gate.
"Anu, um. Eee..." Syahdu seemed to think for a moment. "Can you call him Wicak, no? But I don't know the room number."
"Chaaak. Wicaaac." Shouted the man from outside. "There's a pretty girl, nyariin elo."
Syahdu stared at the open main door. The hallway is quite wide with several motorcycles parked in each row of brown doors.
"Not yet to wake up, ma'am. Enter aja. Room's number 7."
"Within? What's wrong, my mom?" Syahdu asked confused, even though he saw the woman coming out with the man.
"No what. Just come in, mbak." The man said, then came out of the gate with the woman on his motorcycle.
Syahdu was doubtful. Especially that's a man's boarding. What would people think of if he went into Wicak's room?
Another woman came out of one of the rows of doors with a man.
Syahdu glanced at the watch in his hand. It's half-eight and already two women are out of those rooms. What do they mean stay? If you see the woman looking down when passing by, it means they are not husband and wife, inner Syahdu.
He also ventured to step in. Syahdu looked at the numbers above the door, until he saw the number 7 which means, that's Wicak's room.
As Syahdu's hand rose wanting to knock, he was shocked by someone coming out from next to Wicak's room.
"Eh, who are you looking for?" Ask while looking at the door that Syahdu will knock.
"Ooh, Mommy's Wicak's girlfriend, huh? Eeee... Who is it, his name. Syahdu, right?"
Syahdu nodded and smiled slightly at the man.
"Wahaha. Actually, apparently. Saucy, yes, mbaknya. Pantes Wicak never want to be offered by girls. It looks like Syahdu Cake. Hehee."
Syahdu still smiled a little at the friendly man.
"Know, mbak. I'm Khairul."
Syahdu welcomed Khairul's hand even though he was reluctant to get acquainted. Moreover, last night, the man who was about to commit a crime to her was also a friend of Wicak.
"Call me mbak, he's inside. Not anywhere, his son baek, never bring another girl. Sure, deh." He started wiping the motor parked at his doorstep.
"Chaaak. Your girl's coming here.." Later screams.
But there was no sound. It seems that Mr. Wicak is really still sleeping. Syahdu was hesitant to enter, afraid of disturbing.
"Wiowakkk." He shouted again, when he saw Syahdu just silent at the door.
"Whisper very much, Semprul!" Shouted one from the room behind Syahdu. Disturbed by the man's scream. But Khairul did not seem to care.
"Huh, understand mbak, it's all men. On many bellows awake." He said to the real Syahdu also does not care.
"Sir, wake up, woi." Shouts again.
"Gue ain't in, Rul. It's absent, yes." Sahut Wicak from inside with a voice that is almost inaudible.
"Kenape you? Your girl, in front."
"Sister, it's me." Sahut Syahdu also, so that Wicak will open the door.
Silent, there was no sound until a minute later, the door opened with Wicak wearing a white T-shirt and trousers.
"Shahdu.."
Syahdu instantly caught Wicak's pale face in his eyes. The tall man was more lethargic than usual. Fortunately, the wound on the corner of his lips had started to improve. Even so, Syahdu remained worried, soon he landed his hand on Wicak's forehead and indeed, the man's body temperature was high heat.
"Aren't you on medication?"
"Not yet."
"Well, are you sick, sister?" Asked the man again, occasionally he glanced at the motor he was washing with a wet cloth. "Last night masi baek-baek aja, lu. Bo'ong lu, yeah, let your chick nyamperin come here? Haha."
"Wahaha. You're sick." The man's laughter was still heard from inside Wicak's room.
Syahdu. His eyes were tracing a room that was about 4x4 meters wide. The walls are white and the bathroom is also inside.
Like the person who is always neat and clean, like that is also the current condition of Wicak's room. The man's mattress was directly covered with carpet that was the same size as the single bed in the corner of the room. Next to it is a small table equivalent to the shortness of a Wicak mattress. On top of it is a laptop that is still on and a slightly messy sheet of paper around it.
"Cock silent there? Here." Wicak patted the side of his bed. While he was sitting on the bed and leaning against the wall.
"Small, yes, his room." Connect Wicak again.
Syahdu moved closer. He sat where Wicak asked for it.
"I bought you breakfast. Eat first, yeah. That Abis, we go to the doctor." Syahdu took out a packet of food from his bag, then shifted his laptop and opened the rice that was still warm on the table.
"Gga needs to see a doctor, later also healed itself. Have you had breakfast?" Ask Wickback.
Syahdu shook his head slowly. He also had no time to eat because he was too worried.
"If so, we eat together." The man then took a plastic spoon from the rice.
"Well.." Wicak even fed Syahdu, even though Syahdu bought the food for him.
"I bought this for my sister. It hurts, brother."
"Yes. Now, Aaa.." Again, Wicak told Syahdu to open his mouth. Inevitably Syahdu also opened his mouth, chewing rice slowly.
"So, I eat too." Syahdu grabbed the plastic spoon, then fed it to Wicak.
Just three chews, Wicak asked to stop. Nausea, said.
Syahdu only relented, rather than vomiting, he did not force the man to continue eating.
After that, Syahdu asked Wicak to sleep again. While he remained by Wicak's side, sitting with one hand held by Wicak.
Wicak slowly began to close his eyes as Syahdu gently stroked his head.
"Chealing fast." Syahdu Brief.
Wicak opened his eyes, he looked at Syahdu's already calm face.
"I'm just exhausted. It will be better later." Said the man.
"Yes. Must heal. I can't see you like this."
Wicak smiled, then kissed the old hand of Syahdu that he held tightly.
"Love you so much." Speak with a whispering voice.
"I love you more than anything." Reply Syahdu and immediately Wicak's smile expands.
The lizard tilted its body towards Syahdu, continuing to hug the girl's arm. "you're here, right?"
Syahdu kissed Wicak's forehead, then stroked his hair again. "No. I'll be in soon. In the afternoon I came back here to bring medicine to catch a cold for brother. If anyone wants to buy, tell me."
Wicak nodded, then he closed his eyes until Syahdu felt Wicak had really fallen asleep.
But when Syahdu wanted to pull his hand, Wicak moved to make Syahdu had to be silent for a while.
Well, he can't just leave. Syahdu began to pay attention to the details of Wicak's room. On top there are gray and black clothespins, snags that Wicak used to buy when traveling with Syahdu. The teket is 5 years old and still looks very good.
Then, Syahdu's eyes were fixed on the sheet of paper on the table near him. There, Syahdu can see that it is a Wicak thesis sheet.
Syahdu took one with his left hand. He gets a part sheet of the preface. There Wicak said a lot of thanks for the lecturers who helped him a lot.
Syahdu grabbed another sheet, still one preface, where his name is there. Printed thick at number eight, even preceded by Wicak while his parents were at number 9.
The lover of heart, Syahdu Larasati, became my only spirit to complete this thesis. Support in the form of a warm smile that captivates, arouses enthusiasm when self almost gives up. Thank you to him for choosing to stay by my side. A pleasure that I should always be grateful to have known and be able to feel his affection. If I could turn back time, I would have found her earlier and loved her longer. I love him without knowing how, why, or when it happened.
Syahdu was stunned, until his tears involuntarily dripped onto the paper. Wick wrote it very clearly. As clear as how he described his feelings, as clear as how Syahdu could feel them.
But all that, somehow made Syahdu again sad, when he realized one day, he would make the man's heart hurt.
