Syahdu waved to his friends who went home because it was getting dark. They've spent three hours inside for fun. A wide smile was still depicted on Syahdu's face, a sense of happiness enveloped his feelings.
Arga stood behind the girl. He felt happy because he managed to make Syahdu forget a moment of sadness.
"You want to go home?" Ask Arga. Syahdu looked back. Now the two of them live in the parking lot of the karoke building.
"I want to say thank you."
Arga raised his eyebrows, waiting for the continuation of Syahdu's sentence.
"Thank you, you've already bothered to make this show."
Arga nodded. He stepped towards his car. "Not coming?" Ask Arga when he saw Syahdu just silent in his place.
"I'm going to the hospital first."
"Gue anter's. Come on." Arga opened the car door, but Syahdu was still in his place.
"I'm all alone. I can take public transport."
Arga sighed softly. He looked at Syahdu for quite a while, looking for an excuse so that the girl would be escorted by him. "Ngga nice malem-malem angkot ride. Kidnapped by ntar lo. Buru, up." Arga then closed the car door.
Syahdu also according. He got into Arga's car which took him to the hospital.
Syahdu. He thought Arga had left immediately because he was just dropping her off. Without realizing it, the man followed behind him.
The nurses and some doctors he passed looked down and gave a smile, making Syahdu astonished, why people in the hospital were friendly to him when usually not so.
"Shahdu."
Grandma Syahdu walked out of her room with a smile.
"Geez, come all the way here." Grandmother said, making Syahdu bend the forehead.
"Grand, there's ap-"
Syahdu stopped talking when his grandmother passed him. Sure makes Syahdu confused, a second later his eyes rounded.
"That's!"
"How are you? All right, right? Duh, grandma feels bothered."
Arga smiled widely. "Not anything, grandma. This is all between Syahdu." He said while glancing towards Syahdu. The girl was still in her place.
"Come on, get in and out." Grandma holding Arga's hand entered her room, not even paying attention to her own granddaughter.
Syahdu poked Arga's shoulder from behind, making the man turn his head.
"Well, come with me, huh?" Shahdu whispers to Arga.
The man did not answer. He followed the direction of Shahdu's grandmother who asked him to sit down.
"How are you, healthy?" Ask the grandmother. Syahdu sits next to Arga.
"Healthy, grandma. How's granny?"
"healthy. Getting healthier. I think I can go home next week."
Grandma also told a long story with Arga. Syahdu did not look away from the man. Why Arga can smile widely and occasionally sound crisp laughter. Strange, that's what Syahdu sees. He did not see Arga like that. Arga, his face is always jutek.
"Did Syahdu come home, huh? I don't think it's being cared for." Shahdu suddenly and immediately awakened the grandmother.
"Good, grandson. He was a birthday. Here, sit here." Grandma patted her bed, so that Syahdu would sit there.
"Happy birthday. Thank you for working hard for grandma." Grandma hugged Syahdu.
"Work hard what." The girl protest.
"I'm sorry grandma, yes, Syahdu. You should just learn without thinking about anything."
"Well, grandma. I'm not doing anything, kook."
"Excuse me, package." At the door, about five couriers carried something in their hands.
After all was done and the couriers came home, Arga opened the one order that he had ordered in the car earlier.
"It's cake. It's not complete if your birthday doesn't have a cake." Arga. He pulled out a tall and large sponge. It's exquisite.
Again, Arga opened the box that immediately opened flying a beautiful helium balloon. Also some food that Arga purposely gave her.
"Well, it's beautiful." Grandma clapped her hands. She was happy with what Arga did for her granddaughter. "Syahdu, let's blow out the candles quickly."
"Oh. For a while."
Grandma came out, she called some nurses and told them to go into the room.
"Whose year, grandma?" Ask one of the nurses.
"My mother, my grandson." Grandma said happily.
They clapped their hands to sing their birthday song. Of course it makes Syahdu very touched. Moreover, seeing Grandma getting healthier, she was the most excited to clap her hands while stroking Syahdu's hair.
Of course it makes Syahdu sad. She hugged the unfinished grandmother singing. But Syahdu was crying in Grandma's arms.
Later, Syahdu continued to condemn himself for feeling guilty about his decision. But seeing Grandma happy and laughing like now, making her again feel the need to sacrifice herself for the happiness of grandma.
"Happy birthday, Syahdu. May you live a long, fast marriage and be happy."
Syahdu. In her heart, the thing that made her the most happy was the recovery of her grandmother.
"Congratulations, Mbak Syahdu."
"Happy birthday, Mbak Syahdu."
The nurses also gave their best wishes and wishes to Syahdu.
When they finished, the nurses came out happy to bring food in their hands.
"Arga.thank you very much." said Grandma.
Arga just threw a smile. No words came out, only Arga's friendly face continued to be seen in the grandmother's room. Granny said Arga was friendly and always smiling. Turns right. I don't know what got into him at this hospital, until his attitude changed. It really makes Syahdu creep.
When finished, Syahdu and Arga went home. They walked slowly down the hospital corridor.
"Ga. Thanks a lot, yeah."
"Hm."
"Actually you don't need that cake, really. Meet grandma healthy and happy so I'm happy."
"Papa NGO. I also just want to meet Grandma Lo Doang. Let's get more excited."
"So it, right. I need to thank you. Moreover, grandma seemed very happy just now." Answer Syahdu.
"Lo happy, isn't he?"
"Huh?"
Arga stopped, looking at Syahdu who was now facing him.
"Gue asked. You're happy, aren't you?"
Syahdu threw a glance elsewhere. He was happy, but indeed in his heart he had not calmed down. What does it mean that he is not happy?
"Mranny's number one pleasure for me. As long as Grandma is concerned, I'm definitely grinning." Answer then.
"Not that either. Why do you try to be happyin grandma if you yourself are not happy. Long time also the appearance of boongnya."
Syahdu restores her hair that falls on her forehead. "Our happy concept is different. And you won't understand even if I've made it clear." He said then just leave.
Arga wants Syahdu to be honest with him. Wanted to hear the girl's outpouring of heart so she could help. But, if Syahdu says that the contract makes him unhappy, then Arga will not be silent. He will change Shahdu's thinking, before the sentence comes out of Syahdu's mouth. Because now, it is Arga who depends on the presence of Syahdu in his apartment. Of course, whatever way he would try to keep the girl next to him.
