Syahdu, Julia, and Margaret sat in the living room. Julia pulled out all the knickknacks of Arga and Soraya's engagement. The woman wanted Syahdu to be involved as well. To make Arga realize that Syahdu has no feelings for the man. If Syahdu had any taste, he would have refused. But the woman was happy to help.
"Great-good. Soraya's taste is good."
"This is my mom who chose. Not Soraya." Julia Sahut. "Eh, Alexander. Denger nih, said Syahdu all good and beautiful."
Arga doesn't care. He threw his body on the couch.
"Come, I'll take you home." Take Arga. I don't like it when her mom keeps talking about engagement.
"Lho, how come home? You're not even here?" Ask Margaret.
"No, Oma. Tomorrow.. Syahdu plans to go to college."
"Eh, seriously?" Arga sat up straight to hear it.
Syahdu. "Yes. Darling if it's taken. After all, this life is just that too. If I don't go to college, what do I do?"
"Well, that's good. Oma support your decision. If there is anything, kabarin oma yes. I'll help you later."
"But Syahdu, are you really nothing? Mami is very nice if you want to stay here." Julia.
"Said to help Arga show, you promised, you know." Connect again.
Arga frowned. "Mommy fuck, anyway. Why is Syahdu being told that?"
"Who asked? Mom, just asking for an opinion. Syahdu smart you know, this is just him who gives advice for mami dresses later." Julia pointed at the picture of the peach dress on the tablet in her hand.
Arga only sighed with an annoyed look towards Syahdu.
The girl only smiled faintly staring at Arga. He knew the man didn't like it. But he also could not resist.
...🍁...
In the car, Arga and Syahdu were silent. Syahdu as usual, he thought of Wicak. While Arga was still upset because Syahdu followed with Oma and Mami.
But he relented, because the Shahdupun must have been wrong if it continues to be persuaded by Julia about it.
"Where else are we going?" Ask Arga, breaking the silence between them. "You want me to go somewhere, right?"
Syahdu looked, as if asking, where?
"Just there, you can reveal the contents of the heart and certainly more relieved. Trust me the same." He said with a smile. Syahdu was only silent while Arga increased the speed of his car.
After arriving, Syahdu got out of the car when Arga was already standing in front while seeing many lanterns flying above them.
"Lo wait here, yeah."
Arga's gone. Syahdu was still staring at the colorful thing with the light in it flying high up into the sky. It's exquisite.
"Hey, come on."
Arga got into the grass field and started to spread out a small mat on top of it.
Arga also carried lantern paper and several other items. He handed a brush to Syahdu.
"Here, write whatever here. Do not forget, before you fly, express your feelings so that when he flies, all the sadness, hard, pain, whatever it is in you to fly with this lantern. You know, right?"
Syahdu nodded, then took the brush from Arga's hand.
He started writing Wicak's name on the paper, then drew a heart sign there.
Once completed, Arga helped him to form a lantern with the tools and materials already provided from the place.
"Hold this." Arga handed the finished lantern to Syahdu, while he started a fire.
"Say everything you want to express." Arga's Speech to Syahdu.
The girl took a deep breath, exhaling it slowly.
"My life is full of suffering. From birth, even now. I've never been really calm and happy. But from this moment on, there was no more disappointment in me. I want to rise up and be happy." He said, with tears dripping down his cheeks.
"For Brother Wicak, forgive all my lies. I can't fix it because you don't exist. That's why regret and guilt continue to haunt me. Your great love makes me helpless." Syahdu was silent for a moment to catch his breath.
"Sister, relax there. I will continue my life full of surprises. I'm not gonna kill myself, I'm gonna get better. That's my promise to you."
Syahdu slowly released lanterns which then flew slowly up into the sky.
Syahdu looked up, he continued to stare at the lantern that had now joined another lantern.
Then he again sobbed as he recalled the great betrayal he had committed, the main cause of death of a Wicaksana.
Arga who had been standing behind, walked closer, then embraced Syahdu in his arms.
Arga stared at the night sky with the scattered lantern light. His hand stroked Syahdu's hair. He prayed that the Creator would grant all the wishes of the girl in his arms. So that Syahdu in the future continues to feel happy and Arga hopes, he becomes one of Syahdu's happiness in the future.
...🍁...
At least Syahdu heard the whispers of people around who now pity him after hearing the news Wicak and his grandmother died in the near future.
But this time Syahdu tried to erase his sadness. Continuous crying does not make it better, that's why Syahdu wants to keep busy so that gradually the sadness is separated from it.
"Shahdu!" Adina who was sitting behind ran and hugged Shahdu.
"Accordingly grieved. I just heard today that Brother Wicak doesn't exist."
Adina let go of her embrace. "Are you okay? If you're not strong, I want to help you."
"I have nothing, Din. Thanks, yes."
Adina holding Syahdu's hand sat near his stool.
"Gapain anyway, use in everything."
The sentence made Syahdu who was about to sit turned to look at Naya.
"Nay, what the hell." Alika Whispe.
"Later he didn't come to this safe campus. Now it's so noisy again." Naya grumbled with a voice that she deliberately raised.
"Nay... You.. tell me?" Tanya Syahdu hesitated. She feels her relationship and Naya is fine.
"hey are. Who else?"
"Nay, uh. It's dong." Alika said while shaking the girl's hand.
"Ck. What the hell, Al." He complained and immediately pulled his hand from Alika.
"Why, Nay? Don't we never have a problem?" Tanya Syahdu hesitated. He tried to remember, but failed because there was no mistake between him and Naya.
"Hh." Naya smiled as she threw away her face. "There's no problem, he said."
"Nay, you're why, anyway? Suddenly rich gini. Not very clear!" Gerrutu Adina is back.
"Suddenly? I don't suddenly think so. If it wasn't for you first, I couldn't possibly be like this. I don't like hypocrites!"
Some of the students who had already come to the class started to pay attention to Naya. His voice was deliberately raised so that one class heard it.
"I mean.. What, huh?" Ask Syahdu again.
"Gue knows you have a relationship with Arga! Diem-diem lo sukak right, same Arga? I know! I'm not stupid all this time nganggep lo plain though.hhh.." again Naya laugh. "Children of whores, is there anything innocent?"
"Lord! Very crazy!" Pekik Adina on Naya. Alika tells him to stop, but Naya doesn't care.
"Emang really, right? I'm not wrong, am I?" Naya started to put on an angry face.
"Lo know, I like Arga. You realize, how all this time I diggenejer him. But you'd rather call it from me. You can hold her hair while I can't, and it's all because of you. You should know yourself!"
Syahdu closed his eyes, lowered his head, he held back a cry. Just now he wanted to start a new life, but upon arrival in class even problems like this arise.
"Nay, I'm with Arga and there's nothing to do.."
"Whoa. You may lie to others but not me!"
"Nay, lo whatan, anyway. If Arga and Syahdu have a relationship, the betrothed with Arga next week is Syahdu, not Soraya!" Shouted Adina defending Syahdu.
Naya fell silent. It seems he hasn't heard from her.
"Tu-fiancee... next week??" Deuteronomy with pressure.
"Gue doesn't think the same. How can you call Syahdu rich while Arga also does not like you. I see, he's getting close to you. You are not SELF-AWARE" Reply Adina with pressure at the end of her sentence.
"Eemm.lo check yourself in the group." Alika said as Naya turned her eyes to him.
Naya hurriedly took her phone. He stared at the screen for a long time until finally with teary eyes. He knew there was indeed a message in the group but he ignored it.
Naya gets upset, she runs away from class.
At the door, Naya confronts Arga who has just arrived with Ibra.
"Lho, Nay, why?" Ask Ibra. But Naya breaks out not caring about Ibra's question.
Syahdu is still in shock. He held onto his chest that was beating fast.
"Du, you got nothing?"
"Din, why?" Ask Ibra who is approaching.
"Ah, long story." The girl answered while holding Syahdu's shoulder.
"Hey, why are you?" The new Arga wanted to touch his shoulder, Syahdu brushed his hand and ran out. He doesn't want to be with Arga. He doesn't want any other gossip involving himself with Arga.
It's enough, Syahdu wants to calm down and it looks like he can't go to college here anymore. This place has a lot of good and bad memories. Syahdu no longer wants to be in that place because the worst memories dominate.
