SYAHDU (Contract Sleep Friends)
Travel to the Island

...PoV Authors...

Arga stood in front of his bed, looking at the beautiful body on his bed. Syahdu who was sleeping was looking calm with Popi beside him. The blanket had reached the end of the foot, while the glass window was wide open, making the white curtains that hang scattered the night wind that Syahdu deliberately opened to melt his sleep.

She asked Arga to open all the windows and let the wind accompany her dream. Maybe the feeling of fatigue, pressure, and fear that always appears in his head makes it difficult to rest in peace. However, Syahdu could not escape the frightening thought of 'if one day, this life did not go as he wished'.

Arga was there. Paying attention to Syahdu's sleeping face is like an addictive substance to him, of course he does not want to escape from it.

Two days of not seeing that calm face made him uneasy. Apparently, he had become accustomed to the presence of Syahdu next to him, which now every day also makes him worried, if one day the girl did not get his happiness. There is a sense of wanting to protect. But he knew, Syahdu didn't need that from him. All Syahdu wants is to be released from his contract with Arga.

Slowly Arga raised the blanket up to the girl's shoulder, gently stroking the gently swaying hair due to the wind. Not to forget he kissed Syahdu forehead as a good night sleep from him that he never missed.

...🍁...

Arga noticed the busyness of Syahdu. The girl walked to and fro carrying things and piled them on the bed. Today he will go and come back on Sunday. The girl's face looked very cheerful.

Arga leaned with his left shoulder, watching Syahdu suckling his belongings into the backpack he had just borrowed from Arga.

"Where are you going?" Ask Arga.

"She, deh." Answer without looking.

Arga sat on the sofa starting her work again. Hearing Syahdu's reply made her somewhat upset because the woman had kept her destination a secret. Actually, Syahdu is not a secret, it is because he himself does not know where to go. Wicak invited him without telling the location. For sure, if Wicak says it will be exciting, it means it is exciting.

Syahdu was done and immediately carried his bag. He carried the Popi that had been lying on the bed, watching the very busy Syahdu.

"It's fine here, yeah.." He said, looking at the dog's face.

"Obsolutely attention. You don't have to say I'll be okay either."

Syahdu frowned, he looked at the man who was holding the laptop. "I told you Popi, not you."

Arga froze for a moment. He turned his head and found that Syahdu was indeed holding his little dog. He cleared his throat, feeling something gushing from him. That's shame.

Arga continued his work even though his mind was already very chaotic because the shame made him feel like he wanted to disappear that very second. Why with his confidence, he considers Syahdu to be attentive to him.

Syahdu put the Popi again on the bed and walked out.

"I'm leaving." He said while closing the door. The departure of Syahdu makes Arga's lungs expand.

"Haaahs. Ouch, Shit. Howdyahoo!!" Arga grabbed her hair because of the shame that was so great because he was happy with the attention that Syahdu gave.

"Arga." Suddenly Syahdu opened the door and made Arga instantly calm.

"What-what."

"Don't call me there. Understood?" Without waiting for an answer, Syahdu immediately closed the door, making Arga no longer tasteful to continue his work.

Wicak pulled out the phone and placed it in the ear. Before long, Syahdu's phone rang.

"Shahdu, where?"

"In your heart." Answer Syahdu while walking slowly towards Wicak.

The man smiled at Shahdu. "I know. Hurry up, I'm in front of the station. Fifteen minutes on the train, you know. Where are you?"

"Here." Syahdu answered in Wicak's ear while on his tiptoes.

The man looked back and Syahdu laughed cheerfully as he managed to prank Wicak.

"You're this.." Wicak pinched Syahdu's cheek with anxiety. "Did you bring the stuff I said?"

Syahdu nodded quickly. "Udah, safe."

"Okay, let's go." Wicak grasped Syahdu's hand into the train station because they took about 5-6 hours to reach the destination.

Along the way, they were presented with a beautiful view of the rice fields. Both of them joked and laughed without making Syahdu fall asleep on the window glass.

Wicak slowly moved Syahdu's head to his shoulder. He gently stroked the girl's cheeks with a smile that continued to be etched. The lizard kisses Syahdu's head gently. Only this time he walked away with Syahdu. She felt that she was carrying too much weight after her grandmother went to the hospital. That's why Wicak wants to please him even if only one day.

After taking many hours of travel, also taking public transportation for 20 minutes to reach the destination, they finally arrived at one beach. Not yet there, they had to take a boat to cross.

"Sister, where are we going? Kan, it's up to the beach. Why take the boat again?" Ask Syahdu whose face has been tangled because of the journey. He just wanted to go straight to the sea.

"A little more." Wicak replied even though he was actually also impatient to surprise Syahdu with a view of an island.

After the island was sighted, Syahdu's eyes rounded. "Sister, are we on this island?? Aaaa.." Syahdu shouted happily. He looked at Wicak with a look of disbelief.

"Yes. He said he wanted to go to an island. So, I brought you here."

The face of Syahdu is no longer depicted. He's very happy. Just when the boat touched the sand, Syahdu immediately jumped and ran small on the beach.

"Kaaak.the water dingiiinnn.." Shouted Syahdu girang while playing water. Wicak just shook his head looking at the girl's behavior.

Wicak down with a backpack on his face and back. The girl was engrossed in playing without thinking about her luggage.

"Shahdu, we'll come back later. Come to the hotel to put the stuff first."

Syahdu nodded quickly, he grabbed the hand that the Wicak held on to him. Syahdu walked while hugging Wicak's arm. Syahdu's smile did not fade until the hotel receptionist said that the remaining room there was only one.

"But I have booked two rooms. Here's the proof." Tukas Wicak pointed to evidence of his purchase online.

"Yes, but we're sorry, sir. There seems to be a system error. We'll return the money and as our apology, we'll give free dinner to the father and mother who are on their honeymoon at our hotel." Said the receptionist to the lovers who looked at each other.
