"Shahdu." Arga grabbed the hand of the girl who was now crying. The burden on his shoulders was heavy when Arga refused to let go. While he was afraid of the men's threats.
"Gue doesn't know what he said until you thought of leaving, but I won't let you go that way." Said Arga, and Syahdu was just crying looking at her.
Arga rested her hair back in annoyance. He tilted his body to avoid the sad gaze of Shahdu.
"Go home, Ga. I want to be alone."
"Shahdu." Arga's hand reached for Syahdu, but was released slowly by the woman.
"I'm not leaving, I'll be here until the contract expires." Syahdu lied so that Arga would leave. He wiped his tears. "I promise. But get the fuck out of here. I need some alone time." Connect again.
The feeling of disappointment and anger mixed into one in his heart. But Arga obeyed the girl and walked away even though he still wanted to be near the girl.
Syahdu went into the room. He found his grandmother who had been grimacing in her chest.
"Mom, why, grandma!" The girl immediately panicked and pressed the red button on the wall.
"grandmother.. Grandma why!?" Again, Syahdu pressed the red button several times with trembling hands.
Suriani just looked at him with teary eyes. He also could not say anything because of the pain in his heart which was very bad.
"Grandmother why!" Syahdu grew increasingly confused as Suriani said nothing but flowing tears and a hand that grasped his fingers tightly.
"Docteeer! Docteeerr!" Syahdu shouted from within, he could not leave Suriani who continued to hold his hand.
"Docteerr!" The tears of Syahdu are back. Instantly his heart was broken to see his grandmother again experiencing this critical condition. The girl's mind had also been messed up, she felt Suriani's life was like it was over.
"Neekk. hiks." Syahdu looked down, "Don't stay with Syahdu.don't leave Syahdu.." His issue with the hand that still holds Suriani.
From the outside, several nurses ran towards the vvip hallway. Arga, who had been walking down, raised his head as nurses and doctors ran past him. Of course it makes him curious, especially they enter the Suriani room.
"So soon, let me check." Said the guard doctor who just came in.
The guard doctor conducted a series of examinations, while Syahdu could only cry deeply, especially Suriani seemed to endure the pain.
Brankar Suriani pushed several sisters out of the room.
"Well, where's Grandma going? Grandma why?" He shouted while pulling the doctor's arm.
The doctor took a breath, then patted Syahdu's hand which was holding his arm. "Mother Suriani will be taken to the ICU room to be fitted with tools. Currently, he was having breathing difficulties due to his relapsing heart. I'm going to do a series of tests to look at her condition more deeply."
Syahdu shut his mouth. He didn't understand why today's problem was so heavy and big. The doctor left the room to catch up with Suriani, while Syahdu sat there.
He could not stand up because the mind said that today might be the worst day of his life.
Arga came, he saw Syahdu who had cried a mouthful. He immediately hugged Syahdu. He knew the girl was not well.
Syahdu cried with screams. He could not help himself, seeing Suriani like before made him feel that his grandmother's age would not be long.
He will leave tomorrow. He wants to run away from everything. Why did my grandmother get sick again? Syahdu was not even aware that Arga had hugged him since, clutching him tightly. Arga's existence is no longer visible. In his eyes was only the shadow of Suriani crying. Suriani who was holding pain in her heart.
"Mr.. Syahdu.." The Goddess Sister stood in front of the door. "grandmother..." The eyes of the Goddess sisters are glazed.
Syahdu stood up. Sister Dewi said nothing but her fingers which she squeezed out of sadness and guilt.
Syahdu had seen Fahri's doctor who used to handle grandmother standing in front of the ICU room with the nurse. When Syahdu wanted to enter, but his steps were blocked by Fahri's doctor.
"Shahdu."
"Dok, I'm gonna go see Grandma. How's grandma, doc. He survived, right??! Answer, doc." Syahdu. His shout even made some passersby look towards him. But there was nothing she cared about except her grandmother.
"Shahdu, listen to me first."
Tears flooded the Shahdu shirt. He closed his ears while sobbing. "Don't tell me. Don't tell me he died."
Doctor Fahri until can not continue his words when it seems Syahdu already know the answer. From behind, Arga came. Doctor Fahri immediately told Arga about the news. Arga stared at Syahdu who kept his ears shut.
"I'll excuse you." Said doctor Fahri and stepped away with his nurse.
Arga turned Syahdu's body towards him.
"Shahdu."
Syahdu. She even closed her eyes and continued to cry.
"Grandmother can't die..." Syahdu shook his head. "I'm not ready to lose my grandmother."
Arga hugged him as Syahdu began to feel his strength was running out. He fell down and sat in Arga's arms. The man tightly held Syahdu who screamed as if he knew his grandmother's departure when he had not heard it.
Suriani is dead. His heart could not endure the harsh stubbornness of knowing the fact that Syahdu sacrificed himself for his treatment. He feels very guilty. While Syahdu, his feelings were shattered because of the only family left in his life. No one else, now Syahdu lives a kara.
...๐...
Syahdu sat quietly in front of Suriani's body lying on a gurney covered in white cloth. The pale face was constantly stared at by Syahdu. He was no longer able to speak.
Syahdu did not understand why the burden of his life was this big. One more step he will be free. But the Creator did not even allow him to live quietly. Now, he lost his grandmother. And what was before him was the last moment for him to look at Suriani's face.
The clear thread in his eyes fell again. At the moment he feels lost in direction and purpose in life. He wanted to go after his grandmother. He did not know what life should be for, all was already very chaotic even his pride was no longer in his body.
"It's so good." He then wiped away the water flowing into his chin. She felt her grandmother was evil, had the heart to leave her at a difficult time and alone. But he was not able to live alone.
"Can you get up and hug me?" Smashed again. His eyes were not broken looking at his grandmother's face for the last time.
"I promise to go to college and graduate. He said he wanted to see me wear toga. He said he wanted to keep me married."
Syahdu smiled slightly and then looked down. Miris, she spoke to the man whose spirit had gone up into the sky. That promise is useless now.
"No advice for me? I'm on the verge of destruction. I'm alone. That's how it is."
Syahdu has no power to withstand tightness. She covered her face, then cried. Devastated his feelings, heartache and soul at this time because of the sudden departure of grandmother.
Just 10 minutes ago, her grandmother was still fast asleep nearby. His breathing could even be heard. But why. why now.. Syahdu. He has lost the most valuable person in his life.
Wicak came to directly hug Syahdu who was still hiding his face. The arrival of Wicak actually made Syahdu release his terpilu crying. He was stunned, as if his world had collapsed and shattered into pieces. For the first time, Wicak could not calm Syahdu who broke into tears with all his pain.
