"Do you believe that this wine can be exchanged for a house?" Luis chuckles.

"alright. It's up to you." Lia chuckled and didn't think about it anymore.

................................

A house in Malatam is the least expensive, the price can reach 150 thousand dollars and above. Only a few red wines have such high prices.

In addition, wine is highly valued not only for its texture but also for its rarity. Such wine was only for collection, no one actually consumed it.

Preparing dishes is no easy task. Although Lia tried to help, she instead caused even more trouble.

The preparation took almost two hours.

Ting-tong!

At exactly five o'clock in the afternoon, the doorbell of the mansion rang. Lia went to greet the guests while Luis started cooking.

"Oh, that's Luis, yeah." An elegant woman wearing a quality dress in pale blue appeared on the kitchen door.

Although her skin was well-groomed, it could be seen that the woman was over 35 years old.

The woman is Lia's mother, Melia Wijaya.

Luis smiled at Melia and greeted her respectfully, "Hi, Mrs Wijaya."

He had met her several times in the past, therefore he knew how to call her.

"You have good culinary science, Luis." Melia was surprised to see the materials on the table.

There are many aspects of culinary science such as cutting techniques and others.

The sculpted food on the table shows Luis' standards of cutting technique and culinary science.

Melia is unfamiliar with him and only knows that he is one of Lia's few friends.

Not many men and women can cook these days. However, Luis' expertise has gone beyond the basic level of cooking.

"Lumayan for home cooking. I hope that's enough" Luis replied with a wry smile.

As he spoke, Luis picked up a carrot and swung his knife. In the blink of an eye, the carrot turned into a delicate floral sculpture.

"With such a technique, you can easily beat the restaurant chef," Melia said in shock.

"Mom, what are you doing here?" Lia came to push Melia out of the kitchen. "Go accompany Miss Cahya. Let me help Luis."

"Huh-ha. You're just gonna make trouble in the kitchen." Melia flicked Lia's forehead with affection. "Go accompany Dwi. Let me help Luis."

As she spoke, Melia rolled up her sleeves.

When cooking, two heads are better than one head. Melia is an expert in kitchen affairs, unlike Lia who tends to add workload.

When Melia saw the food Luis had prepared, she said cheerfully, "Lia never told me you were good at cooking."

"I've been improving my skills lately. After all, we haven't seen each other in a long time." Luis shrugged his shoulders indifferently.

Melia did not dig any further. "Do you have a boyfriend, Luis? Do you want me to introduce you to someone?" tanyakanya.

Luis waved both his hands tightly. "Mrs Wijaya, please don't joke. You know all the women with high degrees in society. I'm not cut out for them" he replied. There was no way he could bear being near a woman with such a high social status.

"Oh, don't be!" Unperturbed by her objections, Melia continued, "You yourself are not too bad, really. Don't give up too quickly. I will definitely support you."

Luis shakes. "I leave it to fate. I don't know what's going to happen in the future, maybe someday I can meet a good woman."

"Geez, baby." Melia poked Luis' side with a finger. He could not think of a good response. "Then, what do you think of Lia?"

"Mrs Wijaya, I can't possibly dare." Luis' body is tense. She knew what Melia would say next as she continued, "You definitely know what happened to the men who approached her. I still want to live longer."

"Don't do that. I think you and Lia look good. You'll probably call me by another call without you noticing." Melia chuckles.

"If it can get you to stop this conversation, then I'm willing" Luis replied grimly.

However, she was afraid of being threatened by Lia if she really did.

"That's scary, is it??" Melia chuckles. Instead of raising a princess, she seemed to have raised a demon.

"It's hard to answer." Luis waved his hand.

“Alright then. Let's get back to work," urged Melia with a smile. He did not discuss the topic further.

“The meal is almost done," Luis said.

He took the turnips. Just as Melia saw the flash of a knife, the radish had been cut into small cubes. Luis not only showed great culinary science, but he also showed that he can also perform complex cutting techniques.

After washing the pork ribs bought from the market, he stuffed the meat and pieces of radish into a pot of presto. Then, he added the seasoning. After that, he let the device do its job.

Rawon is ready. He took out a frying pan, and poured oil into it, then lit a small fire.

Afterwards, Luis put in a chicken slice, a pinch of onion and ginger, as well as other spices. The appetizing aroma immediately smelled from the roasted roast chicken.

"How much longer do we have to wait? Miss Cahya is starving," Lia asked as she entered the kitchen.

Melia checked out some of the dishes that were ready.

"This one is ready. Can you serve, please?"

"All right." Lia nodded her head. He took roasted chicken and rawon from the kitchen.

At the dining table sat a middle-aged woman clad in classy clothes, though not too formal. The Warita looks charming for her age. It can be seen that she was beautiful when she was young.

"The smell is so good" Dwi commented. His eyes twinkled and his lips flashed a faint smile. "Your mother wasn't skilled enough to make this."

As a friend of Melia, Dwi is aware of the woman's expertise in culinary arts. No matter how skilled he was, the food on this table was not his.

"My friend made it. He's quite skilled." Lia giggling. "My mom helped him."

"I think his skills are great."

Dwi. His eyes were filled with claws as he asked, "Is this a family recipe? If he's your friend, then he's not far from you. If this wasn't a family recipe, then she must be talented."

He had traveled to many places and tasted all sorts of delicious food all his life. He could easily judge a dish just by its appearance and aroma.

He has also tasted some dishes from private restaurants. The food before him did not seem to differ much from the food in the private restaurant he had visited.

"That's it, huh?" Lia asked, she was dumbfounded. Luis' culinary science was impressive, but he didn't expect Dwi to praise him that high.

"The king's curls are ready to be served."

Melia wore a pair of gloves while serving the king crab. "Well. All dishes are almost complete. Luis is preparing the last meal."
