Maybe someone will always look attractive if they are rich. Even if they gnawed at fruit while running, they would still be attractive if their pockets were filled with money.

The sky turned dark after they finished eating.

"So, how are you feeling?" Lia suddenly asked as she drove Luis home.

"Huh? You mean to be the director of Hennerik Industries?" Luis asked confusedly.

"No, stupid. I mean, against Larra Rosse." Lia rolled her eyes and said with annoyance.

"Oh, he. I don't feel anything." Luis shrugged his shoulders.

"You didn't feel anything after showing off today? Don't you feel the sweetness of revenge?" Lia looked at him seriously.

"Why should I feel that way? To be honest, I don't think he made a mistake. He's just looking after himself and his future." Luis sighed and stared at the scene through the car window.

"I can't give her what she wants, and she doesn't want what I give her. So leaving me was the obvious choice for her, and I didn't hate her for it.

Sometimes, love is just a weak and sad thing in the face of reality.

"Well, you're being generous, aren't you?" Lia shook her head. Sometimes he still can't understand Luis, or maybe he never understood this guy from the beginning, even since they first met.

After delivering Luis, Lia went straight to her own home. Luis has just returned from abroad, so he still needs to tidy up his things. Were it not for their close friendship, Lia would not even bother to help him today.

As soon as Luis got home, he took a break before heading out again. Then he sat down on the side of the road and started smoking. These are not high-quality cigarettes, just cheap ones. But his enjoyment is unparalleled.

He was neither a cigarette nor an alcoholic, although his father was a second addict. Not only that, he also did not inherit his father's habits. Yes, he can drink and smoke, but he rarely does.

That's because Luis' father was drunk when Luis was a kid. And if his father was drunk, he would yell at Luis's mother until she cried. Maybe that's why Luis never had a good impression about drinking alcohol.

Earlier in the car, he told Lia that he felt nothing after taking action. But how could he not feel anything, even though Larra and himself have been together for so long.

In the end, Larra marries a man twice as old as her, a man who could have been her father. Of course Luis was frustrated.

Suddenly the sound of a car horn was heard, and the next second, the car sped past Luis, almost crashing into him. Luis looked at the BMW cursing in his heart, "What the hell? Can't that person wait to meet the angel of death?"

"Oh no! Goddamn it!"

Luis immediately jumped up, stuffed a pack of cigarettes into his pocket and ran to the crash site. But before he got there, Luis saw that the BMW driver had started the engine again. Looks like the guy's preparing for the escape.

"What the fuck? You're crazy, aren't you?! If this girl dies, I swear I'll find her and I'll kill you!" Luis roars.

The owner of the car as if he did not hear Luis' words, because after that they turned on the car engine and darted out of sight.

The distance from Luis' place to the scene was not too far away, easily anyone could get there in an instant. But a lazy creature like Luis was already panting, barely able to breathe.

Without even thinking of resting first, he immediately ran towards the girl. From the looks of it, the girl seems to be young, perhaps even not yet entering puberty.

Blood poured from his head and he was unconscious.

"Oh no, this is bad."

Luis placed a finger under the girl's nose and realized that she was still breathing, but she did not dare to help because she had no experience doing first aid. If anything happens when she tries to help the girl, she will be haunted by guilt for the rest of her life.

Just as he was about to call an ambulance, a taxi suddenly stopped by the side of the road, and came out a woman wearing a white blouse and jeans.

The woman seemed to know the first aid method when she briefly examined the patient's condition.

"Have you hit him?" the woman asked in passing.

"What am I really? The tanks? How could he get bounced just because I ran into him?" Luis refutes.

Things like that can only happen in movies, and Luis, being the laziest among all lazy creatures, would not be able to do that.

"Oh, yeah." The woman nodded. He only asked out of curiosity.

"So? Can this girl be saved?" Luis asked while crouching.

He knew the girl was still breathing, but he wasn't sure if the girl could still be saved or not.

The woman in white clothes nodded. "He's got a severe head injury, but if we take him to the hospital right now, I think he can still be helped. But if we don't call an ambulance now ..."
