At that very moment, Anna was no longer able to hear her joke. He shouted in annoyance. "Shut up! If you keep this up, I'll rip your mouth out!" From a young age, no one dared to speak to her like that. Luis was the first to dare to do that.
.......................................................
Unfortunately, Anna was no match for Luis, as the man was an expert fighter. Within seconds, Luis stopped him.
"Let go of me now! Release!" Anna tried hard to escape. Too bad, even though he had tried, Anna could not do anything.
"Ha! What makes you think you can beat me, Anna? How dare you attack me?"
"If you're brave, let me go now. Let's fight one on one and see who will win!" Anna exclaimed in annoyance.
"Even if I tie my hands behind my back, I can still win against you" Luis replied confidently.
"As far as you know, I have a black belt in MMA" Anna said with a reddened face in anger. He felt as if Luis was trying to humiliate him. "If you don't cheat, I'm sure I can win against you."
"From what I've seen, it seems like anyone can become a black belt as long as they dare to pay. My niece, who is sixteen, has earned a first-rate black belt in the same sport" Luis replied. "D-basically you wedge ..."
"What pay? What are you gonna say?" Luis picked up Anna.
"Ouch! It hurts! Stopit! Release!" anna shouted helplessly.
"I'm sorry right now."
"I'd rather die than give up on you!"
"Do you want me to slam you to the ground now?" Luis laughed out loud as he looked at the crowd around them.
Since Anna was a woman with pride, she would feel humiliated if Luis beat her in front of everyone.
"You are!" Anna yells. Inwardly, Anna swore to herself. He will make Luis miserable when the man falls before him.
"I'll let you go if you beg me" Luis said as he placed his hand on Anna's butt.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Anna immediately exclaimed.
He was afraid Luis would touch him shamelessly in front of the crowd.
"Easy, right?" Luis let go and pushed him out.
"Review you!"
Anna squinted her eyes angrily at Luis who had fled. The man left her in the crowd.
"Huh-ha. Anna, you're so weak. I'm sure you'll never be able to defeat me" Luis said in a disdainful tone.
Shortly after, Luis arrived in one of the hospital rooms. Inside, he saw Vina was peeling an apple for Alea. He then asked, "How are you, Vina?"
"Luis!" Alea called out sweetly as she watched the man enter.
Ever since he knew that Luis was the one who saved him, he had different feelings for the man.
"Doctor said, he'll recover soon." A smile adorned Vina's face.
After Vina peels the apple for Alea, she pulls Luis out of the room. "For the money ..."
"What are you talking about?" Luis pretended to be confused.
"On the matter of the 15,000 dollars you lent me before and the ginseng .." replied Vina.
"Oh." Luis nodded casually. "So, do you have any extra money now?"
"Lucky I have. The court's verdict is out. The perpetrator compensated me 30,000 dollars. Therefore, I can pay back that 15,000 dollars," Vina said as she pulled out a bank card.
"Mr Nardo, I know you're not short of money. But I have a principle of life. I'll return 15,000 dollars first. For the ginseng, I'll find a way to pay you soon."
"All right." Luis nodded in agreement. After Luis took the bank card from Vina, he said, "Actually, the ginseng cost only 45 dollars. I told you, ginseng is a product of cultivation. If you still want to pay me, just pay me 45."
"Mr Nardo, don't joke around," Vina replied with a bitter smile. "I'm not stupid. The ginseng you're talking about is the wild ginseng from Falkariye Mountain. It must have cost at least a few hundred thousand dollars!"
"Huh-ha." Luis grinned as if there were no problems. He then continued, "I don't care what anyone else says. I told you, the ginseng I gave you was cultivated ginseng, and it cost only 45 dollars. I don't want you to pay me more than that."
"Mr Nardo ..." Vina looked at him. Now, he did not know what he should do after hearing Luis' words.
Before Vina could answer, Luis walked back to the room. He ruffled Alea's hair and asked, "How are you doing now? Did you follow the doctor's instructions?"
"Of course," Alea replied as she bit the apple. "Doctor said, I'll be home soon."
"really?" Luis pretended to be surprised. Then, he gave Alea a bank card and said, "This is a gift for you. You can buy candy with this!"
Vina, who had just walked in, saw Luis' kindness. Unknowingly, he muttered, "Mr Nardo ..."
"Take this for granted." Luis smiled as he placed the bank card on the table.
"I'm sorry I didn't bring any fruits when I came here. How about you use this money to buy Alea some fruit?" Luis proposes.
"Alea, hurry, say thank you," Vina said with an expression that was hard to read.
