However, he was afraid of Luis' frightening aura. Therefore, the woman could only stand dumbfounded.
..........................................................
"Take me a bottle of Ace of Spades for this woman" Luis told the waiter behind them.
Then Luis looked at the woman. "Can you go now?"
"Thank you," the girl replied with gratitude and immediately left.
He knew that the Ace of Spades was very expensive. Even he wouldn't be able to buy the drink even if he sat here for a whole day.
"Have you suddenly made a big profit lately?" xavier joked.
Hearing his question, Luis rolled his eyes. "What did you say?" Then, Luis placed his hand on Xavier's shoulder and asked, "What are your plans for the future?"
"I don't know," Xavier replied as he shook his head. He replied, "If I knew what to do next, do you think I would visit this place?"
Suddenly, Xavier raised his head and looked at Luis. "Between love and wealth, which do you think is more important?"
"What happened to you? You sound like someone else."
"Some time ago, Liliana's brother came to see me. This question is from him."
"Love or wealth, which is more important?" luis muttered, somewhat confused.
Luis doesn't care about money because he can afford to buy whatever he wants. About love? She would rather spend her time playing games at home than being in a romantic relationship.
"So, maybe everyone has their own priorities." Luis shrugged his shoulders speechlessly.
It was easy for him to choose love over money. However, she knew deep down that it was impossible for a relationship to survive without money.
Sacrificing a career for love?
It was just a joke. It was the same as having someone live for days on water with no food at all. Such unconditional love will never exist.
"Liliana's sister told me that if I don't stop chasing after her, I will lose my job." Xavier picked up a bottle of beer and emptied it in one gulp.
"What is true? I thought this kind of drama would never happen in reality." Luis rolled his eyes and added, "If that's true, just report it."
"Do you think Liliana will let me off easily after that?" Xavier laughs.
Maybe Liliana had a goddess-like face, but her anger was terrifying. If the situation got worse, even Xavier wouldn't be able to do anything.
Luis doesn't know what to say, but at least he knows he can't persuade them to break up.
In fact, she knew she should not be involved in Xavier's relationship, no matter how close they were. Otherwise, he would somehow end up being blamed regardless of how the relationship ended. Not to mention their friendship would be ruined.
"I spend most of my time playing games at home. There's no way I'll get a girlfriend unless she's the cheap type who throws herself at me" Luis replied.
"A cheap type, huh? Like that massage girl with 'extra? You must also crave love." Xavier smiles.
"It seems you know about this. Didn't you say you were afraid of Liliana?" Luis kept asking.
While Xavier continued to drink, it even intensified. Luis is still conscious, but Xavier faints from a hangover, likely from drinking too much.
Luis has no choice but to find a hotel so Xavier can rest first.
Just as Luis was about to go home and rest, the phone in his pocket rang. He looked at his phone and saw it was an unknown number. He hesitated for a moment, but still decided to accept the call.
"Hello, who am I talking to?" Luis asked.
"Hi, is this Mr Nardo? My name is Hazel. I am a general division officer in Hennerik Industry. I'm in charge of most business operations in Cania." A voice that seemed to attract attention came from the other side of the phone.
"What's the problem?" Luis frowned.
Since his last meeting with Claudia, he had never been contacted by anyone from Hennerik Industry.
"Actually, I've been waiting at the door. Is it not a hassle for you to return?" Hazel asked politely.
"Okay, no problem." Luis nodded in response to the question, before ending the call.
He returned his phone to his place of origin and was about to call a taxi.
"Mr Nardo." In the next instant, a golden-coloured Cayenne car stopped beside him.
"Are you here to drink?" Keysia leaned her head out the window and asked.
"I'm done, just about to go home." Luis smiles.
Her impression of Keysia was neither good nor bad. Moreover, she was one of Lula's friends, so maybe she wasn't that bad.
"You need a ride? I'm sure you didn't drive here today?" Keysia asked.
"Sure," Luis replied, before getting into the passenger seat without hesitation.
After all, by accepting Keysia's offer, he could save on taxi costs.
Plus, he only ever saw a Cayenne car on TV first. This was a rare opportunity for him to experience the car in the real world.
"Looking at your net worth, how can you not have a car?" Keysia asked curiously while holding the steering wheel.
After all, he would not doubt how rich Luis really was. He recalled how generous Luis was that night. If he heard Luis couldn't afford a car, he'd take it as a joke.
