Rich In a Brief
Fried Gurami

Looking at the floor, Marry realized someone must have cleaned it up before she woke up. He hurriedly apologized, "Sorry it's been troubling you."

..................................................

Luis giggles. "Don't worry. It is normal for anyone to have a bad day every once in a while. Why don't you go take a shower and clean yourself up? I'll prepare some food for you."

Thank you, Marry said instinctively. When Luis was gone, he heaved a sigh of relief. Marry got out of bed and headed for the bathroom.

Marry saw a shirt with vomit stains in the corner of the bathroom. She blushed in embarrassment as she recalled, "I was drunk last night, which means... "

After finishing the bath, Marry headed to the kitchen. "Luis is cooking. Sorry .." he said.

It's okay, really, Luis replied with a friendly smile at Marry.

"I mean, I'm sorry I threw up on your shirt."

Luis's hand froze for a moment. Then he said, That's understandable.

"Can you cook?"

When Marry saw how great Luis was in the kitchen, he could not help his curiosity.

Today, not many people know how to cook, let alone men.

To be honest, out of all the men he had met before, only a few of them could cook.

I only know how to make spaghetti, and fried gourami flour. Luis shook his head. He knew how to make other dishes, but he was not very good at cooking them.

Before long, two dishes of fried gurami flour were served.

The food was cooked until the golden chocolate was perfect.

Luis took the tray and put it on the dining table. "This is just one of my skills, unless you prefer spaghetti. Go ahead. Eat it," Luis said.

"Looks good" commented Marry. Pleasure seemed on his face as he inhaled the scent of tempting food.

The aroma and texture are very different from the gourami served in restaurants.

The juicy cut of fish looks so tempting. Its crispy chrispy flour provides the perfect sensation between softness and crispness.

"I didn't know you were good at cooking" Marry commented. Eagerly, he took out a piece of fish with his fork and chewed on it. Its crisp and delicious flesh left a good taste on its tongue. It could not compare to the food purchased in the store.

"I've made it over and over again, so of course it feels better over time." Luis laughs.

"With your gastronomy, you can become the head chef at a five-star restaurant, right?" Marry commented while eating.

In the past, Marry used to follow the people around him and taste all sorts of delicious food. Luis' fried flour gurami is absolutely incredible.

"This is the only dish I know how to make" Luis said with a wry smile.

"Why?" Marry asked curiously.

Luis paused for a moment. He then continued, "we finally broke up. For a few times, I thought he would come back to me. So, every day I make fried gurami flour. Every day, I keep it in the fridge. Once the fridge is full, I'll throw out the front one, and replace it with a new one. In the end, he did not return, but I became an expert in making fried flour gourami. I think it's all over okay."

Wanting to respond, Marry opened his mouth, and closed it again because he could not find the right word. If anyone tried hard for her, she would definitely not be able to leave her side.

Unfortunately, Mary had never met such a person in her entire life.

The flour fried gurami was spent in the blink of an eye.

Marry stand. "I'm really grateful for what you did for me last night" he said.

"No problem."

Luis smiled kindly. He also got up and began to tidy up the table. "It's normal for anyone to feel sad sometimes. Don't forget to bring your beer with you when you leave" Luis reminded.

"I know" answered Mary. He lifted the cardboard of beer that had been set aside, he turned around and walked out.

Marry still has a debt of 30,000 dollars to repay. He doesn't have time to laze around.

After hearing the sound of the door closing, Luis sighed. Although 30,000 dollars was not a big deal for him, if it helped Marry pay his debt, it was likely that he would just turn to a different lender.

In Marry's case, helping her might not change anything.

At the hospital, Vina takes care of her daughter, Alea.

After resting for some time, Alea's body recovered very quickly. He could even walk now, though it was still a little staggered.

"Alea, come here and see what I've done for you."

Vina placed the thermos she had brought from the house beside the bed. He carefully opened the lid making his scent smell out.

"It's mushroom soup!" Alea said with a smile. Mom made some mushroom soup for me, didn't she?"

"It's not just any mushroom soup. Mother put in some ginseng."

Vina laughed a little. Vina then poured the soup into the bowl for her daughter.

"Here we go. Try," she asked.

"It's delicious!"

Alea tasted the soup while lying on the bed. Then, he said, "Mom, I think my nose is bleeding."

"What?"

Vina raised Alea's head. He saw blood flowing from his daughter's nostril. "What's going on? Are you feeling hot?"

Vina grabbed the tissue as Alea muttered to herself. Many times Vina wiped it, but her blood still flowed.

"Yes, Mom. I felt hot, like there was a fire burning inside my body. Will I be..." Alea fell silent.
